Relaxed atmospher, friendly staff. Very helpful on last day and let us have use of a room until we left late afternoon for no charge Food was average
The location of the hotel is excellent right on the slopes. The prosfessionalism of Roberta (hotel Receptionist) was outstanding and a person who is on top of their profession Minibus service to and from the hotel was inconsistant and depending on who was driving the minibus, one excellent driver there and totally realible. We were two adults staying in the hotel while the Christmas period saw alot of kids no proper facilities for adults after dinner and kids seem to run the show with creche facilities closed in the evening, need a larger lounge area for adults only
Wonderful staff.Management, restaurant, reception, bar everyone made you feel like a valued guest at the Jafferau.Incredibly helpful. This hotel also has the most spectacular location and great facilities for a superb holiday.
Fantastic views, excellent facilities
Location We were disappointed on a number of counts:
friendly staff no free car parking, strange sign in elevator telling no beverages is allowed there, no breakfast before 07.30
Very Close to the Ski slopes Breakfast didn't go for long, and was never replenished. Didn't offer alot for after the ski slopes were closed.
Proximity to ski slopes and ski hire facilities No tea/coffeee making facilities in room - available on request - had to ask repeatedly for kettle to be supplied
tutto ok, personale gentilissimo letti scomodi
beautiful view to the mountains, comfortable kitchen. kitchen needs to have cleancers to keep the tidyness. For tourists it is unreasonable to buy cleaning fluids for 3-4 days. In winter the floor in the bathroom is icy. The battery did not always waork, so it was cold to take the shower. It would make sence to make heat-insulated floor ot at least provide the bathroom with controllable heater
A nice, simple, family run - and very family friendly hotel, which proved an ideal out-of-town base for our ski trip with our children. A car is essential as it's a 10 minute drive to the town/lifts (there did seem to be a bus service but we didn't use it). Great value if unspectacular dining, lovely mountain views and clean apartments...we'd stay there again. Recommended.
Cleanliness and modern facilities As it was self catering limited kitchen utencils. No wine glasses.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The apartment was clean, well equipped and cosy. All in all a lovely place to stay.
The owner was very very helpful and friendly. Would not hesitate to stay there again.
Really big room in off season, because it 's usually rented to ski groups. I needed to call the hotel employees because on my arrival nobody was there anymore. But then I could enter after 10 minutes, so overall rating is still good.
Warm, quite cosy centrally located close to shops and bus A bit noisy, poor sound insulation due to very thin walls Kitchen could do with some extras like a toaster and a microwave
heating & bathroom
The staff where super friendly and helpful. The Residence was a fantastic location in respect to the mountain and the facilities where great. Unreal we will be back!!! Only thing I would say is maybe to have a microwave in the room - that would be a good idea!!!
Flexibility of the owner and his a can do attitude. Very well equipped room. Unfortunately stayed only one night but would definitely consider staying there again.
location in the old towm very poor cooking facilatys
Good location in old city Too far from slopes
Great location, absolutely perfect for our needs during our cycling trip. No
Extremely helpful staff who provided us with very good evening meal even though therestaurant was closed. Comfortable, clean, spacious rooms. Free parking (outside). Good wifi. My only very minor gripe is that the breakfast was a bit spartan. (But then again, when isn't it in Italy?).
Very pleasant hotel, the big and spacious room, cleanliness, an order and service at very good level.
Friendly helpful staff. Very clean. Enclosed car park. Excellent food. Very good value for money
Nice location on a quiet street, with a lovely mountain view and a picturesque church at the top of its hill. Olyx itself is a nice town to walk through and is in easy driving distance to ski slopes and a myriad of valley and mountain villages. This small hotel is nicely decorated, very clean and well maintained. Good breakfast, and the restaurant is excellent for dinner. Service was friendly and helpful. Convenient, ample, and free parking is provided half a block away. It would have been nice to have lobby computer available for guest use.
Small, friendly, off the beaten track
Only stayed one night but staff very friendly, room newly renovated. Walls very thin, Girl on reception in evening only spoke Italian but there was someone who spoke a little english and was very helpful.
The room was clean and comfortable, and after several issues, the staff finally did try to be helpful. The food in the restaurant. It was of a very poor standard, hot dishes were served cold, the meat was too tough to eat.
Superb service attitude of staff; very helpful at every turn; couldn't do enough for you. Lovely dining room and great food!
We only stayed over night on our way somewhere else - arrived very late (just before they went home for the night 23.00) and had breakfast in the morning. The beds were very comfortable, the rooms spotless. The hotel had a cosy feel to it and is newly refurbished. The girl on reception in the evening didn't speak anything but Italian, so it was a little difficult to communicate. Last possible check-in is 11pm, as the staff go home then, so make sure not tobe late.
Kindness and Elegance.
Helpful and friendly staff. Super dinner and breakfast. Comfortable room despite not being able to control the air conditioning which was regulated by the hotel staff.
We very much appreciated the splendid hospitality offered by the manager, Francesca Buono, who in fact did the design for the interesting renovations that were completed shortly before the Olympics in Torino. She gave us a sampling of regional specialties, as well as information on restaurants and attractions, and she even found us an excellent local mechanic for our rental car. The hotel is nestled high in the Italian Alps above Torino, a perfect location for outdoor activities all year long. We were there only for an overnight on our way from Tuscany back to France, but we would certainly enjoy staying there much longer on another occasion.
The Manager - was the rudest women I have ever come across. If you made your own arrangements outside of the Hotel and she wasn't going to make a Euro or two out of it she turned into a beast. Never in my life have I been spoken to like that from someone whom was meant to be looking after us in our stay.
Staff was very friendly. Bus service to skipiste was very well organised. Good skipas discount via hotel Breakfast was very poor
Modern fixtures and furnishings. Well maintained. Friendly staff. Staff failed to provide breakfast on time two of the four days of our stay (breakfast room was locked and lights were off). Room a little too warm; no air circulation without opening balcony doors which allowed noise and insects into room.
Quite and peacefull pleasant staff
Excellent service by friendly staff. Good hotel-ski pass deal. Very comfortable and clean rooms and facilities. Good food.
Exceedingly helpful and friendly staff. Excellent food.
