easy access rooms to small not worth £40 per night
Good food at good prices Parking
The restaurant was excellent and the room was stylish and suitable for a nights stay. The bathroom could have been warmer.
Clean and easy to access The internet di not work. It did notshow it was within range even though it was.
Location vs Cost = Perfect
The location was good for our visit to relatives in the area. I was also able to walk to the Underground station for trips to central London. The room was a bit small.
Rooms were clean and well kept. Staff friendly and helpful Hotel need air conditioning hotel room very warm
Generally very good
The staff were friendly and efficient. The food was good. The rooms were noisy, with thin walls. The main problem was with banging doors in the small and early hours. The sprung doors need to have silencing pads as they close. We did mention this to the staff.
The room was very nice just the bedspread was a little dirty and was a surprise considering the quality and room furnishings (very nice). In the area of the building where I stayed, I could hear the occupants in the other rooms I.E. if they opened a door, used a power outlet. This is my only complaint. On the upside, Savoro does not have so many rooms so when it was time to sleep it was fine. Otherwise, it was very nice and a very high standard compared to most hotels in London I.E. if you are not paying â£300/night.
Pleasant and approachable staff. The bar was overpriced.
Ease of parking
Clean Spacious Good selection of food Quiet Not enough parking - although voucher is good idea. Bathroom smelt a bit but was clean. Towels sized for smaller than average clientel! Internet doesn't say shower only.
New hotel, still in good condition. friendly and helpful staff. buffet breakfast good selection. Wc flush was weak
Convenient, parking available. Check in and check out at sensible times
Everything ok apart from below Room extremly hot, due to hot weather no means to cool it down. E ventualy moved to cooler room
Very clean and well maintained. Good value for money. Check in was slow due to only having one person available, who was dealing with a long telephone call when we arrived. Bar choice was a bit limited.
clenliness of room not enough staff and bar services inadequate
The staff were friendly and efficient, the bathroom clean with bright light in it, car park as part of service Only one chair for two guests, tea and coffee making facilities poor, room too hot at night, carpet dirty and shabby, one minute soap only, one bedside shelf missing
The staff was friendly; I had a parking space; the immediate access to the tube (Central Line) and main roads for a quick get-away; the use of the WLAN; the English Breakfast; the room was clean; the bed was comfortable; the easy access from London-Stansted airport. Overall, I had a really nice stay and would come back anytime. That the bed rolled away when leaning against the wall to watch TV (just a minor thing that can easily be fixed by a stopper).
it was good for the money. i didn't like the tiny bed
Very conveniently situated, close to tube trains, buses, shops and restaurants. Greatest boon for me was having a car park. Stayed on a very warm Saturday night, and was unable to keep the windows open because of the noise from the cocktail bar and night club.
Easy access to the tube Car park, could be cleaner, third floor room and no lift, no jaccuzzi
Friendly, very clean & comfortable and being able to park was a bonus, extremely good value for money. Breakfast was greasy & cold, and our table was not cleaned from the previous people, we went down for breakfast at 9.30am, there were no other clean tables available.
The hotel was situated close to the venue we required. The hotel room was tired, dull and not all together clean. The room was booked as a double but we recieved a room with two single beds pushed together with 2 single duvets instead of a double.
Het is een eenvoudig hotel. Onze kamers waren schoon, bedden waren goed. Prijs was in goede verhouding met kamers
Great value and breakfast included in the rate.No aircon but windows opened OK. No parking available in hotel grounds - forced to park in public car park 500 metres away. Because windows opened for air the traffic noise was quite audible as room face the main road!
the room was clean, there was no hassle at reception everythig was in place. the room smelled a bit musty it needed airing especially as they knew guests were coming in.
The location is good, very near to the tube station. Rooms are satisfactory according to the price. The staff on the reception was too rude and asked for full payment at arrival, although this was never mentioned earlier. We stayed there on the weekend and the music of the local pub was too annoying and we were not able to sleep
Walking distance to London subway (10-15 mionutes), next door to gas and Tesco supermarket, plenty of free gated parking, best price around for a London area hotel. No air conditioning, and city noise is loud when window is open. Rooms are very small, no chairs.
Staff were very friendly and nice There was no kettle, coffee/tea in room. And thought was a bit mean to be charge £5 extra just to deliver couple of tooth brush to my room.
The young trainee receptionist, Anna, was polite, helpful and charming. She was quick to change our room for one with a king size bed and she assisted in the move. The restaurant staff could not have been more attentive over breakfast The duvet was like a biscuit, flat and far from cosy. I presume this form of duvet is to facilitate laundering but efforts to up-grade should be made.
clean and comfortable but rooms on the small side
The food was excellent. Plenty of car parking space. Quite large bedrooms. In the room the headboard was fixed to the wall, but the bed was not fixed to the headboard, so the bed moved about quite easily, which was not very good if you are a restless sleeper as the pillows kept dropping between the bed and the wall. The bed was not very comfortable, the mattress being quite hard.
Reception, Noise by outside party
proximity to M25 and the rooms the bar food is a little lacking
I thiought that the breakfast buffet and staff were very good
Location was excellent for what we wanted 11am checkout Is a bit early.
Little slep with a bouncy castle under our window being used by children until 1 am in the morning
We went to our grandaughters christening in eNFIELD
Very clean and comfortable and very quiet!
Helpful staff, good location for edgware tube station. Plenty of parking and the wifi's good. Feels what it is, bit of a budget hotel.
Hotel was well presented and staff were friendly and welcoming. Food was lovely in the morning and it was generally peiceful. Although the hotel is a non-smoking, our room smelt strongly of smoke, which the cleaner's were obviously aware of with the window open when raining and freezing, also the lift smelt strongly of smoke.
It was expensive, but the staff were polite and helpful at all times. The price.
Staff were excellent - extremely friendly and welcoming No bad points
Good night's sleep guarantee. Friendliness and service provided by staff. Could have been cleaner and could have been more signs requesting consideration of other guests.
The staff were so friendly and polite and really made our stay comfortable, they were always there to help us. Our room was under a staircase so we could hear people going up and down.
We chose this hotel because of it's proximity to the M1 and the Northern Line tube station. A very handy place to stay if taking your car to London (from the north) but don't want to hit heavy city traffic. The gated car park is free; the tube station is a 5 minute walk and it takes half an hour to get into central London. Breakfast is excellent value. This hotel's location is not somewhere you would want to explore after dark. The rooms are basic and the beds are hard.
Rooms were very clean and spacious hotel was very good The all you can eat breakfast was the biggest joke I've ever seen there was no food ready no tables ready. We ended up with nothing but toast it was very poor
convenient location, friendly staff none
The heating did not work. We did not complain as we were hardly in the room.It was cold when we returned each night.
Helpulness of staff. Nearby & convenient pub/dining.
Outstanding staff...welcoming, good humoured. Being alone, it would have been nice to watch the major football matches in the bar. As it was, there were something like 15-20 people in the bar all wanting to do the same thing who all left to visit a nearby pub where the football was on. Inconvenient for the (mostly male) guests especially since the sports channels were not available in the rooms. It also seems to be a totally lost profit opportunity for the hotel losing out on highly profitable alcohol sales.
Conveniant for place I have to be
Clean and well maintained. Room was big. The price I paid was too expansive for such a basic hotel. Ate in the restaurant first night and food was awful. Avoided the restaurant after that. Flat screen TV would have been better. Aircondition system in the room not working but replacement heater was available.
Clean environment. Can seem rather sterile and unfriendly.
Clean and modern hotel with efficient staff. Not much to look at (but we expected that) and "does what it says on the tin" but soulless (do not expect a personal touch).
Premier hotels are the same throughout the country very good generally. Front desk staff were very good. Hotel room excellent. Breakfast food really let the hotel down. There were items missing on the full breakfast menu, The coffee ran dry, Then the milk, There were no tea spoons out.Went for a table and they were either not cleaned or not layed up. I know it is a busy hotel but if we were 1st time users of the hotel We would not be impressed with the breakfast set up.
The friendly reception staff
Very friendly staff, the breakfast was lovely with great choice for a great price. Have booked again for later in month!
Booked in immediately with warm welcome. No
Was very clean and the staff were very polite [ felt safe ] Need to do some thing about banging of doors by uther user,s
Clean, quiet and comfortable. All ok thank you
Quick & easy check in & out Proximity of restaurant to bar - needs to be separate
Very nice staff and easy the whole process of booking and checking in is very straightforward. Parts of the hotel are a little run down and some repairs are obviously overdue. Nothing major to complain about though.
Management tried very hard to be of service: not very well supported by oithers and state of equipment Intermittant heating in room. Television not working on first day, sp[asmodic on second. Waited ages for Breakfast service on first day.
Very friendly staff and great breakfast Bathroom a little small
The room was clean and the hotel had a nice log fire to sit in front of when eating The hotel could do with a little TLC and looked in need of a refurb.
Staff tried very hard to be helpfull and were very courteous. The early morning noise of traffic in Watling Street has got worse since I lived in Radlett which is something you are not in a position to rectify
Good friendly staff and good bar, breakfast Room shower window seal was very poor and suffered from water dmage.
staff nice and friendly, breakfast really nice, parking avaliable....quiet area, nice fire place to sit...... drinks are a bit expensive in the bar, apart from that nice hotel....
Very poor value for money-although stated on my confirmation that the cost should be taken from c card given on confirmation i was still asked to settle account upon arrival.
There were enough towels, nice towels, and extra pillows/blankets already in the room. The staff were friendly and efficient
Everyone in the hotel was polite and friendly. Food was excellent. The chef came over to us personnally to see if everything was to our satifaction. Breakfast was served quickly and efficiently and again lovely. Please can you forward good wishes for everyone concerned. Excellent in our opinion. Would recommend to anyone. Thanks
None Receptionist rude and over bearing. The room we were given was already occupied and we disturbed another couple !!!!!! Response to this drama by staff was dismissive. My partner arrived before me and was not given room as 'I had not paid'.......despite having my credit card details on file as was confirmed when I arrived . a shoddy experience in a shoddy hotel We will not be back!
Staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent - huge choice and all freshly prepared.
We had a really good evening at the hotel, it was noise free environment and close to the station, everyone was very helpfull and polite no detremental feedback at all
Very helpful young lady called Layla who accomodated our request to check in slightly earlier so we could make a time deadline without having to come back later. Security chain missing from one of our rooms and security chain fitted to a door frame that was hanging off in another of our rooms. Not something I was happy about from a safety point of view.
This Hotel was convenient for us, I collected my wife from Luton Airport and drove onwards the following day. Slightly nerve-racking approach weaving in and out of the paths of giant juggernauts.
Staff polite-nothing waqs too much trouble. Manager was 'hands on' when breakfast was very busy. Fan now working in bathroom - not rectified during stay
quiet room - very friendly staff nothing
Late check out
The room is quiet, clean and nice and the bed is a comfort. The location is good if your are driving. Internet is not free. Breakfast is not included. We had dinner there, and that was really a loooooong wait.
Food very good also value for money service from personel/staff excellent the overall apperance of the hotel clean and neat very clean and well appointed rooms extreemly good value for money Did not encounter any negative vibes with this hotel
helpful reception staff
Breakfast Far from undeground, too cold in the room, absence of tableware
Value for money it is not luxurious but it is clean friendly with excellent breakfast. Water pressure seems vaiable over 2 stays
Too many to mention!! Review has already been left on trip advisor that touches on some of the low points!
The rooms were comfortable and clean and we had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel could be a little bit tricky to get back to using public transport. It was easy to get into the centre but not as easy to get back.
Smoking allowed in room No bathroom. The toilet was in a closet, and the bathtub in the bedroom. The breakfast was very poor. You could feel the springs through the bed.
With the price you get this hotel room for, everything it offers is a steal deal. The hotel is located in a calm area but not far from the train station or the center of Ilford. It is very clean and the room service is done everyday. Excellent Wifi and that is free!! I will definetly stay here again if I come to Ilford and ofcourse if the room rate remains within the current range. [Note :The hotel may accomodate the guests in different buildings around the main building and you need to go to the main building for the reception or for breakfast which is like taking 20-30 steps from your room!! No big deal though!!] Nothing
the tranquility and proximity to high street and above to reaching the excel centre in time. saturday and sunday breakfast is servered earlier and the dinning room doors are locked very early in my opinion. I dont think it is necessary to lock the entrance of the dinning room. On wednesday when i was checking out, i went to deposit my case at the dinnig room according to instructions i got from the front desk but to my greatest astonishment i found a male member of staff smoking in the dinning room by the breakfast counter. I think it against policy.
Nice friendly staff with spacious room. Excellent Halal Breakfast and free wifi+parking was a bonus.Close to Ilford Town centre and shops. Rooms could do woth some renovation.
Excellent service and staff. Very attentive and friendly staff whom could not be faulted. Clean, comfortable rooms and suitable for a family of four and was excellent for the tube which was directly opposite the hotel which was a real bonus but it did take one change and about 30 mins to get to any tourist site in London which is just about acceptable I believe. Good value for money Room could be heated but cooling meant leaving a window open but not too noisy. The Inn was a bit out of London if that is where you want to visit but provided you can put up with a tube journey of 30 mins was not really an issue.
the staff were very good, helpful and caring. no air conditioning, but a fan was supplied when asked for.
The friendliness of the staff both at reception and at breakfast. No
The reception staff were very professional and friendly. Bed too small in disabled room. My daughter's room on the other hand was very comfortable with a big bed.
It was chosen for convenience, near to our son's student digs, plus right next to a tube station. Premier Inns usually do "what they say on the tin". The rooms are far too hot. No air con and if the windows are opened the traffic noise is very loud.
Extremely polite attentive and friendly staff.
Polite , easy parking & convenient
Tube Station adjacent to hotel Not all staff gave the same level of customer service
Hotel was only 30 mins from liverpool st station. It was good after spending all day in central london to get away to Redbridge. beefeater next door was ideal. We have stayed in over ten different hiltons and i can assure you the breakfast was on a par with them. Our room was immaculate. Bathroom spotless. We paid £260 for 3 nights for 2 adults and 3 children. Really good value. The girl who served us at breakfast was really polite and courteous as were all staff. A really good hotel for a city visit. Check - in not until 2pm which I suppose is understandable but some hotels do start check - ins from 12 noon.
The staff were very polite and courteous Yes I am 64 and there was no lift and i had a very full case and a smaller one and no lift, blessedly enough although the receptionist was a petite girl she did help me up the stairs 3 sets of them.My room was near a very busy road and both sets of sliding windows would not get even close to closing to shut out the noise which was all through the night. So thank goodness I was only booked for 1 night.Besides those 2 negatives the rest was very good.
Friendliness of staff; their attempts to meet requests/ deal with problems with facilities within the limitations of those faclilities. Ensuite and heating systems need upgrading.
Excellent service...friendly and experience and helpful staff Room was a bit too small...feels restricted to move about
The lady on reception who seemed to do everything in the hotel was amazing. She was kind, helpful and lovely. The bathroom toilet and shower
Very clean and modern. The one thing wrong was the room we were put in was too noisy, it was at the front and the road was too busy.
The hotel is in a great location, and I found the staff very friendly and obliging. Breakfast was sufficient and the garden very relaxing. Bedroom carpets are very dirty (room 14 and 15) and detract from the decor of the rooms.
A clean and well organised small family hotel My single room was small and had a shower room acroos the landing that was very small - luckily i am not a fat person or I would never have got into the shower.
very basic, Economy pack sliced bread - not nice. Poor parking facilities, not at all as shown on the web.
Clean. helpful staff .
I liked the fact that it was understated. It was just what we needed. It was clean and neat. I would recommend it to others for a place to stay for a short London break. Not a lot.
I liked the location of Oak Lodge very much because it had eating places and so on just a five minuite walk away. You do not have to have a car to go there, they are buses. And fantastic if you can get free buses. I thought the 'breakfast' could have been better. Cereals, toast and fruit is not very good for a hotel. I call it a guest house because that is what it is.
