It was a great surprise. Lettle cosy romantic hotel in a small city 27 km from Frankfut am Oder.Huge room, free Internet, friendly personal, reasonable price. We travelled three weeks through France and Genmany. It was one of the best place.
Private and very big property of the hotel that we can walk and enjoy. Very helpful staff and friendly.
Breakfast buffet was great. Hotel is in quiet place We are a family with 2 children (1 and 5 years old). In the hotel we had have to pay 15 EUR supplement for the extra bed, although it had to be for free (this was indicated in reservation). As the staff spoke only german, it was impossible to clarify the situation.
Excellent quality, service, spa and golf. We will be back.Have been around most of the world and this was truly excellent from A-Z.
Quiet, Relaxing, Calming.. Don't expect much.. Expensive for what is offered..
The golfcourses was very well kept. And the service in the restaurants was super. Breakfast was superb. Nothing wrong about the hotel, but the rough on the Faldo-course was not freindly!
Sauna! Excellent place for relaxing brake during long time drivinr from the East (Warsaw) to the West (Amsterdam) of Europe. Small
The maitre at dinning room Silberberg was not nice at all. How is one to know that reservations are required for dinner, specially if one does not read German????? Was not quite kicked out, but mostly yes, I was.
We popped over to Bad Saarow for 4 nights from Berlin and had a fantastic time. Very good value for the money. The hotel and spa are very clean. There are 5 different sauna type (steam, "stein" 56C, "bio" 65C, "octo" 88C, and "block" 92C). There is a cold dunk as well as nice cool off pool in the sauna area. The salt water outdoor pool is heated and amazing. We came in July and the weather was perfect, but quite cool at night. All the spa facilities except for treatments are included. The most amazing breakfast spread as well is included. Getting here from Berlin is a sinch - 5.10 euros each way on the train with a quick transfer at Furstemwalde to a tram that takes you straight to Bad Saarow. 1 hour flat. Given it was July, there were a number of families with children, mostly well-behaved though.
It is my second time to stay in this hotel. What I enjoy the most about this place is a quiet atmosphere, which helps you to reload yourself over a weekend.
location and facilities n/a
Excellent breakfast. Nice setting. Comfortable rooms.
Beautiful place, nice lake outside, very good restaurants (unfortunately did not visit them all).
Staff were friendly and attentive. Room was excellent, location was beautiful.
There was a personal touch when we arrived, however in the morning on leaving there was no one around ( 10 am) after spending over 230 euros for one night you would expect a goodbye We arrived quite late, & manager asked if we wanted anything to eat ( didnt mention that it would be an extra 30euros on top of the bill) the night was not value for money
The place is thigh, clean and quiet. Brilliant when you travel hundreds of miles and you want to take rest. I suppose it is a great place, thanks to its isolation from civilization to take rest for a cople of days.Looking at the local scenery it is a great place for hunting. The personnel was great, trustful, helpful and punctual - German :) I stayed in several palces in Germany and so far all of them were very good for a traveller. It is not a fault of the hotel, however the local road was being rebuilt that time so it was a bit difficult to find the hotel. Would be nice to have a kind of an indicator about the hotel location on the local road when you exit a motorway.
The owners were great people and the food was excellent! GPS was a little off in finding this hotel - tucked away in a side street.
