Very nice and clean place, great helpful stuff and good location around 10 minutes walk to metro station Tuanjiehu.. Highly recommend
Quiet and Clean
We loved the chic industrial style of the interior! Very close to public transportation, just a short 5 minutes walk. Very creative lighting.
Water accumulates in the bathroom when showering, it would be great if a glass wall could be built.
It's clean, pretty interior and you get 2 bottles of water - that's about it.
PRICE: I booked the room for 360 EUR on booking.com and they charged me 420 EUR on my credit card! When I confronted them she immediately said "TAX TAX" as this seems to be a regular occurrence - but it clearly stated tax and service fees included! (DID NOT GET ANY MONEY BACK!) STAFF: The staff was underwhelming and gave minimum required effort - no Hostel staff at all - was super lost the first day and looking for food and the only info I got was an annoyed "over bridge at subway stop" basically only managed to figure stuff out on my last day. Location is over 10 min walk away from a subway stop, convenient store is the nearest food option but impossible to find without Chinese language skills - again sth the staff could have conveniently pointed out. LOCATION: See above, pretty inconvenient unless you brought walking shoes and calves of a marathon runner. EQUPPMENT: THE KITCHEN IS DECORATION! There is nothing; no cups no cutlery nothing! If you want to have breakfast like a human forget it: As they don't offer breakfast you have to buy everything yourself but as they have 0 cutlery/equipment there is no way to eat anything! Asked for a cup and cutlery on the first day and they gave me a plastic spoon and a small paper cup! (with a lot of attitude!) asked on the second day and the girl was super rude and said "DONT HAVE" ROOM Toilet was moldy and sometimes did not work, everything was basically loose and couldn't close the window as a result I got eaten by mosquitos every night despite mosquito spray. (and the cleaning ladies left the window open regularly). Moreover the blinds don't block out the sun and you could literally hear everything : hallway, the people right and left (I could have joined their conversation) and even the people on the street! Got only one good night rest in the entire 8 night stay!
The place was overall rather good. The staff speaks in English, the lounge has that general cozy atmosphere, and the rooms were clean and good enough to sleep in
So far, I'm satisfied with my stay in the hostel so I don't have anything I really disliked
