The room was very spacious and very well maintained with beautiful and interesting items used in the decor and delicious fresh fruit was kept ready before our arrival; the concierge was very attentive to our needs and helped us have a very pleasant experience by arranging our reservations at various restaurants and other venues, including a half-day tour to nearby attractions and especially Jeita Grotto... The breakfast buffet was very limited compared to what I would expect from an establishment like Le Vendome; the ongoing construction next to the hotel makes it mandatory to get up by 8ish in the morning as it is impossible to sleep after that due to the very high levels of noise
The housekeeping was perfect and honest. The price was extreamly high !
service of staff is very personalized and friendly. boutique hotel in the vibrant heart of beirut they dont clean the terasses and lobby is not grand .
One of the main reason for choosing this hotel always is the fascinating sea view from the upper floors
serves is not so good
excellent hotel 4 summer time. I had a club room where I should get fruit, sweets and water daily as complementary service, I got it only 1st day.
i like the hotel to be comfertable especialy the restroom and the bed and i pefer more international tv chanels
Staff Welcoming and their attitude. Room cost specially during no season periods. Plz be fair.
The breakfast buffet is great Nothing
swimming pool - spa facilities excellent the sandy beach very very dirty / house keeping some times forgat you / valeut parking takes more than 10 min for bringing your car
The furniture in the rooms is old and so is the telephone system.
The staff were good and will help u anytime The breakfest what not nice they should have a more food on display Rooms are too small
i liked the sea view, services of the hotel and the SPA of the hotel
I like the sea view and the location. The breakfast was perfect. The price was very high according to the room furnitures. The sofa, towels and carpet were very very old and dirty. Late chick in.
Staff Room mini-bar control needs to be improved
close to downtown It took the staff one and half hour to get the door open and fix the problem. The wireless was only working for two hours and each time you had to visit the reception to obtain a voucher
I am really pleased with the all staff in the hotel very friendly and welcome the guest as a member of family. Excellent hotel I would going to stay again in this hotel. Every thing is very good.
One of the reception managers, Ali, was helpful. Hotel was old and in need of repair. Rooms were not very clean.
the location is perfect as a destination for daily activities there were alot of street repair and a new building will be constructed next to it that bother our stay with torable noise.
1.Hotel is "somewhat" not too far from the seaside or downtown, at least 10 -15 mins taxi ride with average cost of USD 10 - 15 for each trip. 2. Rate is inclusive breakfast. If stay in Beirut is more than 3 days, rental car with driver can be considered. 1. Though location is reasonably fine distance from activities of the city, there are no restaurants or shops around hotel premises. 2. Hotel services is poor, requested a few times to change the broken showerhead which was not taken care of at all. 3. Room floor was dirty, bathroom appliances were not maintained well. Overall, hotel is average.
brakefast was very good and the area where is the hoteh is quit
I liked that the Lancaster was in the heart of the city, yet the rooms were very quiet and one could hardly hear the city's noise! I had stayed at a different hotel right before checking in the Lancaster, and although the that hotel was a 5 star hotel, I had a problem sleeping because of all the noise! The hotel was poorly furnished, the extra bed was painfully uncomfortable, and the receptionist kept chatting with other people during my check out when I had a flight to catch that I was already late for! The Lancaster needs serious renovation!
the location very old building without facilities, room wasn't clean
good location, easy access, friendly staff in general check in took so long,
My first choice in Beirut!!! The welcome was great, location was excellent, cleanliness and comfort of the room were outstanding.
The staff were very helpfull and they even upgraded my room. Some noise from outside.
the hotel staff was very rude and exploitative. i have a very long good history with holiday inn, but this time they were very rude
The location I booked for a studio but i didn't see anything even close to that, Its just a regular room!!. the rate is high
Location - staff Internet should be free
The best at this hotel is the location. it is near every thing and easy to reach to downtown and many other places. the cleanliness of rooms. There cleaning staff seems to be from out of the hotel, and they are taking long time to start cleaning the rooms. I was going out and coming back many time to my room and it was still not cleaned !!! until I call them once and twice to comment.
i liked the location when i checked out i figure out that they deducted from my credit card more than what i signed up for when i booked through booking.complus the are still holding the amount for the first night till now its pending and they never help when i tried calling them after they took more they also are holding more money thats very bad
It is within small mall, whcih contains cinema, McDonald and kids recreations. I think it is a little overpriced, as I stayed in Crown Plaza Alhamra alos in the same visit and it was cheaper. Everywhere else CP is higher rate than HI as both are same chain of hotels, except in Beirut!!
location staff tretment specially front desk mr.rami who was un polit person
Its Location yes, in fact i was disturbed with a lot of young women coming at nights to serve customers in their rooms, also there no security exist at the elevators.
Nothing This is without a doubt the worst Hotel I have ever been in. $470 per night, poor service, the most uncomfortable bed, poor decor. My advice is don't go to this Hotel ever.
The service was excellent. Everything done with a smile. Exceedingly clean. Very responsive staff The AC in the room though very effective, did not eliminate the humidity.
room was smilly and humed to the point that i had to change my room.
Good position and confort Poor restaurant
Very comfortable beds The bar had slow service, the pizza was delicious but the desserts were not as good.
Nothing Ventilation, Air conditioning, Towels , small Bathrooms, smoking in reception area , buffet breakfast location and quality
Room facilities and cleanliness. Wireless internet service was not available in the room.
calm and v .profesional and cooperative staff lobby is small
The location. Tep for cleening the room
The hotel staff was excellent, services is good, good location Please write at least 15 words
Beautifully designed and spacious rooms complemented by attentive and very friendly staff. The breakfast buffet was very nice and served by very friendly people. Need to upgrade TV's to flat panels.
I liked that it had two bedroom suites and a full kitchen. I wish they equp the bedrooms with TVs.
Pleasant staff and good general quality of services, furnitures etc.
The hotel is new, very well furnished. The 2 bed-room apt, is very comfortable and spacious. It is located in a residential area, abit far from all the main locations in beirut. Nearly 10 minutes by car.
The staff were very nice , and even went out of thier way to help us wireless was very slow , and one of the day/night of our stay , we had no connection what so ever. and the A/C could not be controlled seprately , the rooms would be too cold while living room is still warm.
The staff are very helpful, conceirage is a superman.. front desk ladies are very nice and sweet, the lady in the buffet is gorgeous, and the hotel just feels like home!!!
