Pros: The stay here was all fine. The manager was very professional, swift and forthcoming. He informed us on his own on all the available services (wifi, free parking area, breakfast, best nearby restaurants which I now confirm are really good). We paid without VAT as foreigners. The room was spacious, equipped with a fridge, totally clean and good-looking. A nice stay overall. Highly recommended!
Pros: We are driving Ruta 40 & have stayed in lots of hotels in this price range in similar towns. We count ourselves experts. Sincerely, Las Cardas was probably the best so far. Comfortable, spacious, friendly, well located & efficient. Literally outstanding.
Cons: Nothing to dislike really. Maybe it could have been a block closer to town, but then it would have cost more or been more noisy. There was a glitch with our hot water but it was sorted out very efficiently & I doubt others would be impacted.
Pros: Brilliant shower and everything very clean. Superb location within 5 minutes walk to restaurants etc. Safe parking in quiet area
Cons: Can’t think of anything really that mattered to us. We didn’t do the spa and the pool didn’t look inviting
Pros: Very clean. Everything is new.
Pros: Owner was very kind and customer oriented. She provided very good information on what to do in the area and made sure we had what we needed. We spent just one night but it was a pleasure staying there.
Cons: Air conditioning was a bit noisy
Pros: The staff were lovely! The room was spacious, quiet, warm (it was freezing outside), and the breakfast was a bonus.
Cons: We couldn’t get any hot water, even though we followed the instructions to bleed the air from the system. That’s a big minus! Also the curtains need “adjusting” to block light from outside. However, we didn’t say anything because the staff more than made up for these inconveniences.
Pros: Spotlessly clean. Friendly staff. Large room with nice facilities. Easy parking. Good quiet location, walking distance from center.
Cons: Unfortunately, an otherwise great stay was blemished by an unrelenting roar emanating from some kind of installation on the roof. This kept me awake for half the night. We did inform the staff and they would look into it
Pros: Las Cardas has a really nice location. Everything is in a walkable distance; and every Cabin its own terrace. The host is very friendly and he handles even spontaneous asks for an little Snack promptly. Thank you for the in minutes prepared Picada! The host also organizes tours to really wonderful places in Catamarca Province. Unfortunately we had not enough time to stay longer for some tours.
Pros: The room was modern and comfortable, very good bed and linens, clean and modern bathroom, nice size for the bedroom. Nice detail, each room has its own little terrace with chairs and table. There was a small pool, with a nice deck, but not much of garden to use. The breakfast was very good, and abundant. The owner was kind and gave me good info about places to eat and visit.
Pros: Very clean and quiet. Very friendly staff, better breakfast than most places.
With a stay at Hotel de Campo Restaurant Oeste Paraíso in Puerta de San José, you'll be 13.3 mi (21.5 km) from Condor Huasi Archaeological Museum and 25.6 mi (41.2 km) from Shinkal Ruins. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and coffee/tea in a common area. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The breakfast was absolutely fantastic. We are just wrapping up a month in Argentina, and this was (by far) the best breakfast. Very quiet and peaceful. Herman was the hardest working proprietor I have ever seen. Very hot water in shower = great.
Cons: This is the windy season, and the room was fairly dusty. A few things could be tightened up (e.g., the washbasin). Be flexible, and you will LOVE the place
Pros: Everything is perfect. Very comfortable room. The food was delicious
Pros: Restaurant on site. Staff very friendly.
Cons: Accommodation was very basic.
Pros: A sweet little woman welcomed us in the argentinian "tranquilidad" (calmness). We had really delicious food, which was served by the same lady that welcomed us. The beef was tender, the Cannelonis were rolled in a delicious pancake roll and the locro was incredible, too. The prices of the food were really convenient. We wish that we could have stayed longer. It is just a wonderful place to calm down :)
Pros: We stayed here with a group of friends on Xmas eve on our way from Salta to Mendoza and were happy to know the restaurant was open, so we could have our dinner without having to go to Belen. The rooms are basic and there is not much to do outside (except for listening to (a lot of) cicadas and watching the sunset over the Andes, which is quite amazing by the way), but why not if it's a 1 night stay and you really want to feel you're in the middle of nowhere.
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff
Pros: We had a very warm greeting and the room was totally new in every part: the bed, the bath, everything was new and all the place is undergoing a good renovation. There was also Netflix on the room TV! The place is good and quiet, but also at about 20 minutes from Belen, so you can rest in a total silence and enjoy a good town nearby. The owner was super super kind and helped us in any way, also providing help to wash our car after hundreds of kilometers in the desert, He also prepared a very good breakfast and was always welcoming and helpful. A nice place to rest when touring this area of the wonderful Argentina! We already miss this place.
Located in Londres, Las Cañas features a garden, bar and free WiFi. The accommodation provides a shared kitchen, and organising tours for guests. All units will provide guests with a stovetop. A continental breakfast is available daily at the inn.
Pros: The property is located on one of the two town squares. It is a very nice and quiet location. We walked into town to pick up a few things we needed. There were a few local specialty food items being sold in and around the square. We found the property itself very funky and artsy and also very comfortable. There was heating, hot water, wifi, kitchen facilities available, a very comfortable bed, and really nice outdoor garden space available for relaxing. The owners were very accommodating of our non-existent Spanish and the necessity to use Google translate app to communicate. They made us some wonderful fresh bread for breakfast and to go with it some home made jam. Ours was a short stay but it would certainly be a great spot for a longer stay as well.
