Pros: Catherine greeted us with a smile and from then she couldn’t do enough for us. The place was spotless and breakfast was first class. Definitely will come back if I’m up north again and would recommend it to anyone.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: EVERYTHING! And I mean that with every sense of the word! The house itself is just BEAUTIFUL! The location oozes with calmness, I really wish we could stay for much longer! As for the hostess, Catherine, she is just fabulous! Polite, extremely pleasant, she just has that positive aura that just makes you resonate with her vibes and feel calm, at ease and like home. Wholeheartedly recommended!
Cons: Absolutely nothing! It was one of the most enjoyable stays I've had in my 30 years of travelling around the world!

Pros: Beautiful room, with tasteful decor. Modern bathroom.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We came to the area on a genealogy hunt and were so pleased with all the help our gracious hosts offered. Lovely Irish breakfast - banana muffins were my favourite. Would recommend to others. :)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We found this B & B just like home from home (only tidier! :-) ) It's set in a lovely area of Cavan countryside with a lake view and peaceful surroundings. If you're looking for somewhere to find peace and quiet.... this is it! Catherine, the host, is a lovely lady who was a joy to meet. The breakfasts were great.....and made even nicer by our chats every morning with Catherine. If we're ever in this part of Ireland again we'll certainly make this our first port of call.
Cons: Initially we had a little difficulty finding the property using sat nav - though Catherine quickly kept us right after we arrived. When you're in Ballyconnell go straight across the junction (don't turn right!). Our only regret.....we would have loved to have stayed longer!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner Maura was incredible, such a welcoming kind lovely host, she went above and beyond for us. The breakfast was first class our son particularly enjoyed it saying it's the best breakfast he's ever had- homemade pancakes fruit and chocolate spread. The fry was delicious and Maura went one step further with stocking the longe with tea, coffee, milk and a selection of biscuits and chocolate bars. Her knowledge of the surrounding area was brilliant and offers a cold store for bait, she helped with all the best fishing spots, going as far as to ring around people she knew for information, if it's a fishing trip your planning this is the place to stay, and driving us to one location so we wouldn't get lost. Such a lovely kind lady, we will definitely be back. The room we had was so homely and spacious and great value for money honestly the two nights we spent here (wish we had of booked longer) were a bargain for the service we got. I would definitely recommend here to anyone looking for a comfortable homely few nights away. It's a wee hidden gem that we will visit time and time again. The town and surrounding area is beautiful filled with amazing scenery to take tons of pictures and plenty of walks, and the local shop Gala sells the best ice cream. Thank you Maura, see you next time.xx
