Landhaus Grünau - Wals-Siezenheim - Building
2
9.5 Excellent (462 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Surrounded by green meadows and mountains, our bed and breakfast enjoys a quiet yet central location in the Salzburg suburb of Wals. Only 7.5 km (15 minutes) from the city centre, we offer 14 beautifully furnished rooms, which are lovingly decorated in typical Salzburg country style. In addition to Salzburg with its many sights, our convenient location lets you reach many other attractions, mountains and lakes in Austria and Bavaria quickly and easily.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The place is beautiful and spotless! Our hostess was lovely and so willing to help us out. We loved being close to Salzburg but in a smaller community. The food was excellent with many delicious choices to begin each days adventures!
Cons: The only tiny thing would be if the sheets and towels were a little softer? Maybe it’s a cultural thing? Anyway it didn’t detract!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Wide room, clean, well maintained. Excellent shower and comfortable bed. Personalised breakfast and great variety of food available. Free parking on the premises.
Cons: n/a
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Quiet rural location only 10 minutes drive to Salzburg. Nice restaurants nearby. About 200 mtrs from hotel there is a pedestrian bridge over the river from Austria to Germany. Great area for walks and bike riding.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Almost everything for my stay is 5 stars.
Cons: Nothing I can comment, may be it is a little bit hard to find from highway 1, when you get us to this area, I had have no problem to enjoy my stay.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Clean, Austrian decor. Large room. Elevator. Amble and varied breakfast choices.
Cons: Car necessary to Salzburg.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very Clean, Pretty & Comfortable
Cons: Nothing, unfortunately couldn’t stay longer as this place is in demand, understandably so.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: I would describe this as a traditional Austrian hotel. The decor is very tasteful and everything is to the highest standard. The bedroom and bathroom were a good size and there was a seating area. Although it was outside the city centre it was peaceful with on-site parking. The breakfast was very nice with the choice of hot or cold food - the pastries were baked fresh!
Cons: You can’t walk into the city and so you need a car or taxi.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is our favorite hotel. We've stayed here for 3 times already (2014, 2017, 2019) and we are always super satisfied with it!!! Breakfast - is fantastic, nothing special, but you'll always find everything you want: fruits, cheese, ham, juices, pastry. The room is unbelievably beautiful and very-very spacious. Always spick and span. The host lady is always ready to help and assist with everything you need. And the most beautiful is the surrounding nature - the view of mountains and the lake
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Picturesque and quiet property close to the airport. Rooms were very comfortable and appreciated being away from the tourist hordes in the Salzburg center. Lovely breakfast and room was cool despite the record-breaking heat.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Easy answer.... everything
Cons: Nothing

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Family owned and operated. The most delightful, helpful, friendly management and staff. English is spoken well The building and rooms are immaculate. The wellness centre has 3 saunas, massage rooms, tanning bed and a pool all very clean. We really wish we could have stayed longer
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything was amazing - the staff, the breakfast (to die for), the room (large, modern, stylish, functional, comfortable), free parking, fast wifi, TV channels (available in different languages), the bathroom (great shower, double sinks), elevator available, wellness centre and spa on site, and if you're checking out early the staff will prepare a breakfast to go for you! It was really the small things the hotel does that made such a huge impression!
Cons: In terms of distance, the hotel is close to the town of Salzburg, but the roads and traffic mean you're driving for 20-30 minutes to reach the town centre. The smart suite ipad didn't work very well, but that's a very minor thing (we didn't call reception about it because it didn't really bother us).
7.5 Good
Pros: New renovation premises
Cons: The room temperature is too high for sleeping. Although there were two fans provided in the room, I felt dizzy after the whole night blowing by the fan. It was unexpected that there was no air-conditioning in the room.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel, very clean , staff courteous and friendly. Used the small pool that was refreshing after 5 hour drive.
Cons: Needs a restaurant, gave us details of local ones Had to walk for 25 minutes but the restaurant we found was good.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everthing! a great place!
Cons: The water stream in the shower was a littale low..and also there was bo hair conditioner
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly team Great breakfast Quiet location Modern facilities
Cons: Would've liked a small spa with jets near the pool
7.5 Good
Pros: Clean and the finish was exceptional on the materials (bathrooms, bedding etc). Someone has spent a lot of money on this place. Didn’t use the pool as there had been a “toddler incident”. Breakfast was authentic Austrian and superb!!! The range of items offered were fantastic. The quality of the food was wonderful.
Cons: If this place did supper it would be ideal. Their breakfast home baked goods were so good that it’s clear someone knows exactly why they are doing in a kitchen. A modest supper offering would be great. There are a handful of resto’s nearby in the village. Watch out!!! One only takes cash!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything: the room, breakfast, the wellness center, and the great and friendly hospitality. We got bikes to go to Salzburg for free, we also got a nice home made confiture as a farewell gesture
Cons: All was good.

Pros: Perfect locatiin. Amazing stay. Staff was very attentive. They went out of their way to assist my mother and even drove to a local market to purchase soy milk for my breakfast. I'm in the travel industry and highly recommend this hotel
10.0 Excellent

Cons: Everything was perfect:))
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A fantastic small hotel in a great location with wonderful staff.

Pros: Great location and very friendly staff. Highly recommended as a superb boutique hotel. It was perfect being in the middle of the Old Town and a block from the Danube.

Pros: First class staff, location, breakfast and location. Arrived at 3am by bicycle- arrangements were made and got some real bike shop location help.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything was absolutely perfect.
Cons: A little noisy in the morning when shops are beginning to open.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Good design, comfortable
Cons: Poor quality of breakfast, lack of space
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was a last minute booking and we couldn't have been happier. Got a great rate and Ulrike at reception was outstanding. So friendly and helpful. And the location was terrific - old town Salzburg so everything was walkable.
Cons: Ate dinner in the restaurant and while the food was good, it seemed a little pricey in comparison the area restaurants. But that is a minor complaint. Overall we were very happy with everything about the hotel.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: This place is charming! From the greeting with an elderberry drink and hot towel, to the cute little mini-fridge and lovely walk in shower - everything is unique and well done. The room was quirky and small, but with enough room and style. An umbrella was provided, which came in handy. The provided soap and lotion was high quality. The location is absolutely perfect!
Cons: Despite the cool weather at night, the room was warm. The provided fan helped, but under the duvet I was way too hot! A light blanket or typical American top sheet would have been welcome. Also, the pillows weren't as supportive as I would have liked. Finally, our room was outside a busy Asian restaurant which was occasionally loud with smokers nearby.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff. Fantastic breakfast Will definitely come back. Reception staff exceptional.
Cons: Had an evening meal. Was disappointed only one vegetarian main meal. Service although friendly could have been better. Had wine by the glass very small serve and was given wine with obvious sediment. My schnitzel was excellent and the ambience is great but didn’t believe it was value for money.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The extremely warm reception
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great atmosphere and excellent location being central to most of not all sightseeing attractions without the usual expected overcrowded nature of most hotels. Also no children to be seen for those that want a truly quiet stay. The service was top notch, where they even had one of their employees walk all the way to the other side of town to find us when we were lost trying to find Goldgasse (google directions will not work .. there’s a security pole blocking the way! Tip: use the intercom or call the hotel for the access code!!). The location is story-book-like as it’s in a quiet alley around boutique stores. We were pleasantly surprised by the Michelin star restaurant part of the hotel, which sources recipes from an “ancient cook book” showcased in small cupboard on the restaurants wall. You’ll also wake up to the church bells each morning or fall asleep to the pleasant ambience outside if having the windows open is your type of thing. You’re also close enough for a half day visit to Eagles nest which is a historic must-see. Big thanks to Ulricke and her colleague for the wonderful stay and bants!
Cons: It was fantastic - would recommend the stay. Definitely try around September or October for Oktoberfest and/or celebration around St Rupert.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff was outstanding and helpful. The overall condition of the facility is extremely nice and the breakfast was excellent!!!
Cons: The problem I continue to have is the fairly new remodeled European bathrooms. For many of us taller Americans (6’3) the new “quarter” glass doors hotels are placing on their bathtub/showers is just not reasonable. I understand it makes the overall appearance of the bathrooms look larger BUT, the functionality of the mini glass is non-existent. I realize Americans shower more frequently than most Europeans and likely use more hot water which cost the hotels money. But to believe that we may shower less often because of the inconvenience is a myth. The quarter doors will allow for nothing more than the nicely attired bathroom to become unnecessarily soaked and possibly damaged in the long run. We are currently staying in a beautiful hotel in Vienna that has added a swinging quarter door to the stationary door which works exceptionally well. Plzzz consider it for your otherwise beautiful facility.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Breakfast and cleanliness
Cons: We asked for a romantic room as we would celebrate our anniversary and we were given a loud small room with view towards the parking lot.

Pros: Great hotel, with great amenities for adults and kids alike. Breakfast was perfect and one of the evenings we had dinner at the restaurant food was very tasty at reasonable prices. The newly opened spa center was an extra treat we did not expect when booking. The room was very cosy and spacious for two adults plus a todler.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very good bedding, had a relaxing sleep. Nice children's playground and garden behind the property.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is very clean, it is well maintained, it has a feel as if it was brand new. The room was comfortable, the bathroom was also clean and well equipped. The only thing missing was a safe in the room. Breakfast is very good, a lot of things to choose from, the service personnel was very nice and professional.
Cons: There was no safe in the room. Parking lot is filled up by restaurant guests, since it is very well liked amongst locals, it is always full and it is hard to find a parking space during lunch and dinner hours

Very professional and friendly staff on reception. Very comfy rooms and quiet. Great night's sleep. A quality hotel. Didn't have chance to sample the Pitterkeller underneath but the menus looked great.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful team, nothing too much trouble, very helpful. Particular mention the girl with dark hair on reception was lovely and very helpful. The dark haired lady who made omelettes at breakfast was so very nice and really started the day off wonderfully...along with fabulous omelettes ! Excellent breakfast, proper juice, coffee etc.
Cons: Only one thing...being asked if I would like to pay my bill in my home currency. This is a con as it always costs more and you should always pay in the Country’s currency that you are in. Please stop this,it may catch people out and it doesn’t become such a wonderful hotel as yours. Many thanks for a wonderful stay.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: How clean and spacious the room was and an incredible large balcony. I also loved the breakfast, that was the highlight of the stay for sure!
Cons: Pillow were too soft. Even with both pillows stacked, my head seemed to fall right thru to the mattress.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Everything was excellent.. more than what I expected especially the underground parking which takes you directly to the room. Only 15 min from salzburg center
Cons: None
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good breakfast. Beds very good, but 2 matrasses. Very good (and free) parking garage. Large outside pool. Heated (in october!) Swim from inside the spa area to the outside.
Cons: A warning from the reception on the nearby fire brigade garage would be good. We where alarmed at 04:00 am when a very loud warlike sirene was wailing. This had nothing to do with the hotel. I gues that this is the way the local firemen are alerted. Nether the less I was standing in my bath robe at the reception!! No jacussi in welness area. Some staff did not really speak English or German.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Just as expected. Pool was a saviour in the terrific heat during our stay, but unfortunately no air con in rooms. Most staff pleasant and helpful - one girl on reception not so much. Was given one of the smallest double rooms on the 1st floor of the main building, which was actually quite large enough and well-fitted, big tv, bath in bathroom, big balcony overlooking Untersberg. Breakfast buffet very good with everything you could wish for including cooked-to-order eggs.. Underground garage a boon and easy to use. Spa area well appointed with free herbal teas. towels, showers, sauna etc. Pool temperature perfect.
Cons: For price, I think they could let you have the odd coffee free from the self-service machines in the bar. We were roundly told off for preparing to help ourselves... "Only for conference guests!". Not everyone wants to eat in the post restaurant every evening, but the Einkehr beer garden a disappointment as the food was not particularly traditional and was overpriced.. Menu very limited. Over 10 euros for four tiny cups of not very interesting and very similar dips with just a few slices of bread to put them on was poor. Went out to Sankt Leonard most nights to eat.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: old and pretty hotel, big room, big bathroom breakfast is decent classic old hotel can't comment about location because I rented a car
Cons: mattress seems tad old (bit squeaky and not comfortable)

9.6 Excellent
Pros: I like the style of the hotel. Luxury and elegant. Everything meets my expectations except the price.
Cons: The price was bit high. I think because it was Summer art festival,
6.3 Good
Pros: Reception staff, housekeeping and room service staff were all excellent.
Cons: The price for a river view room was too much given the poor quality of the Salzburg view. Having just come from Prague and Budapest, Salzburg's skyline is pretty dull. Also, construction made getting to the room tricky.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel was amazing! We felt like royalty. The staff was exceptional. It is a quick walk to all the local sites! The refreshments left in our room were a surprise bonus. We loved it and would definitely stay again!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel. Great staff. Friendly and helpful. Concierge and team very knowledgeable, thank you. Asked for a thinner quilt which was supplied no problem.
Cons: Evening specials in the restaurant would have been better printed as a flier rather than being told by the waiter. A pair of wooden tongs for retrieving the toast out of the toaster would help.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel is conveniently located for festival goers. Facility is old and room small.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location, very clean room and friendly staff
Cons: The in house restaurants were just too expensive
4.5 Okay

Pros: Room was very authentic, clean and comfortable. Bathroom was perfectly clean and well equipped. Personnel provided me with helpful tips and local map, and was really friendly in general. In case of a rain you can take an umbrella from the bucket next to the entrance.
Cons: There was no aircon in my room, not a problem for me, just for information. Safe box malfunctioned, but there was an option to keep things in the main one downstairs.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Thelocation is very good. The breakfast was excellent.
Cons: The view of the room could be better.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Family run hotel that were very friendly and helpful. Cosy hotel that was well presented. Breakfast was well presented and the staff were attentive. Great location in the pedestrian part of town.
Cons: No air conditioning due to the building being old and listed, but a fan was provided in the room. The beds kept slipping while sitting up to watch TV. Public parking 7 minutes walk away.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: It’s very convenient. The hotel is located in Salzburg’s old town. Everything is around the corner; shops, restaurant, museums, castles and parks. All you can reach by walking.
Cons: The only downside being that the bed is too soft. WiFi is alright but it’s not enough to support a WiFi call.

4.2 Okay
Pros: Views (when the clouds were up) are of the alps and breathtaking. Lovely pool Balcony
Cons: Noisy near airport (which did close at night) but we could hear freeway all night. Location was in a cluster housed area. No air conditioning and it was 35 degrees and humid, hence our doors open all night.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very well place close to motor way and airport!
5.4 Okay
Pros: Proximity to the discount retail store and the bus stop
Cons: No porter service to move luggage ( was told that’s how family run hotels are- should have been specified in description while booking) no electric kettle in the room to make tea or coffee ( once again was told the same story as above). What surprises me was the mini bar prices were same as all the hotel chains I stayed in. Also I moved 3 rooms in 3 nights because apparently the room which was given to us for first night (supposed to be modern) was more like a cramped box. For 2nd night I was moved to a different room ( bigger and nicer with massive balcony) and was told that would have to vacate as someone has specifically asked for this room on our 3rd night stay—-well they could have adjusted the other guest but no we had to again switch rooms. And well this other guest never showed up. Worst was when we checked out and asked to leave our luggage near reception for an hour before our taxi arrives, I felt they agreed reluctantly and were not too happy about it. Other than this experience everything else was great, the hotel itself is very beautiful and clean. They have free bicycle which can be used to go to nearby places.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was marvelous, we were keen of accomodation
Cons: nothing
7.9 Good
Pros: The attractive, good quality furnishing of the room. Excellent location for the airport. Fantastic breakfast.
Cons: There was a washbasin in the toilet but no soap. The receptionist on duty when we checked in was extremely officious and almost hostile. Of course forms have to be filled in but I resent being spoken to in a certain tone and treated as untrustworthy because I have a British passport and an Austrian address. I had just collected my 82-year old mother from the airport and she felt most uncomfortable at being ignored at check in. I also overheard the receptionist being abrupt with other English speaking guests. Maybe she is xenophobic. We simply did not feel welcome or comfortable. Otherwise everything was ok as were the other staff.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Clean and quiet
Cons: Breakfast
7.5 Good
Pros: It took us only about 10 mins to walk from the hotel to Salzburg Airport, yet our room was totally quiet: didn’t hear a thing overnight. There’s a pleasant garden behind the hotel with a natural-style swimming pool (icy in mid-September!).
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast Views Walking distance to airport
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We booked a room with jacuzzi but without waterbed. The woman by the reception said that they normally could not fulfill this request because when you book a room you just get one. But we got the room we wanted . Further is the hotel staff very friendly.
Cons: You can hear the neighbor's go to the toilet.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly family owned hotel. Very handy for the airport only 10 minutes walk to the terminal without having to cross the main road. Even closer to the Designer Outlet Centre ( The Bodega is good for a meal anytime of day). Quiet location with a sunny garden and outdoor terrace for breakfast. Check out the Owner’s photo books of all their cycling trips in and around Austria. As a result of their love of cycling you will find a number of bikes in the garage which are free to use. Comfortable beds with very good water pressure for the shower. Spacious underground carpark with 2.1m clearance. Regular bus service connecting the airport and central Salzburg.
Cons: A kettle in the room would be nice

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rosenvilla exceeded our expectations. All staff interactions were of a high standard. We were provided with a room upgrade which caught us by surprise, it was greatly appreciated. The hotel is a beautiful old building, kept in good shape. Location was about 15 minutes walk from Salzburg old town. Umbrellas were supplied for the rainy day. We didn’t get to try breakfast. We regret not doing so.
Cons: I would suggest an update of pillows & linen. Crisp white makes a statement. Having said this the linen provided was good, but it could be great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Accommodation and staff
Cons: Nothing at that price range
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great staff, great location, clean and modern
Cons: The lack of air conditioning made for a rather warm sleep.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is super cute, beautiful garden, fantastic staff, and an amazing breakfast! I personally loved being a little out of the city center. You are still right on the bus line, or a beautiful walk, into the city!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very spacious room, good staff ( Mr. Junior ) . They made special toasts for us as we are vegetarians.
Cons: Low Wifi
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very charming place tucked away in a quiet neighbourhood with some nice restaurants and a beautiful terrace to chill on even after the restaurant closes. But what's best about Rosenvilla is the staff. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. Also don't miss the breakfast, there is a lot of choice and a lovely atmosphere.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The room we stayed in was very spacious. The balcony off of our room was very large and a nice place to sit and relax in the evenings. After we had left, I realized that I forgot a book in the room. I emailed the hotel right away and Christopher responded immediately and offered to mail the book back to my home in Germany as we had already left town and would not be returning to Salzburg. The book was in my mailbox when I returned home 5 days later.
6.7 Good
Pros: Design & balcony.. as well as location
Cons: Lift is not available
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice and comfortable. staff was excellent and friendly. Breakfast was pricey but selection was incredible. If you want a big breakfast it will be worth it.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Hotel Rosenvilla is the cutest gem off the beaten path in Salzburg. Easy to take the bus or walk to the Old Town but no noise and crowds. Super comfy bed and accomodations, helpful staff and yummy breakfast. The only complaint I have is that they tell you there are free items on a mini bar in the lobby but yet I was charged for them.
7.0 Good
Pros: I like everything about this hotel, the stuff, the atmosfere and of course breakfast. Presentation of the food was picture perfect.
Cons: No
7.7 Good
Pros: The hotel is lovely and very cozy. The lady running the hotel makes you feel like you are an invited guest. Her sincere hospitality made a huge difference to our stay. And of course the breakfast was the best we had! Staying here was very pleasant and made our short holiday in Salzburg so memorable!.
7.3 Good
Pros: This was my second stay in the hotel and everything was just fine. The location is a bit off from the town centre but, with a car, the free parking eased me a lot of headache to finding a decent parking lot near the centre. Staff were all kind, helpful and jolly.
6.0 Good
Pros: Room was spacioius and bathroom really nice. And the breakfast was just amazing...
7.7 Good
Pros: We thought the hotel staff was especially accomodating and attentive to our needs. Additionally, the room and bath were very inviting.
7.7 Good
Pros: The room was very comfortable, with a balcony you could walk out to. The bathroom and the amenities provided were excellent. It took around 15 minutes to walk to the centre (but that was known when I reserved) but I found the stroll very pleasant as it was through a green park and a promenade along the river.
Cons: There were no elevator and restaurant service except for breakfast.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel, not far at all from the city centre. Lovely room with attentive and professional staff. One of the best breakfasts we have had on any vacation in Europe. 8 kinds of honey, preserves, cheeses, cereals, the works!

Pros: This was a great place to stay! The bedroom and bathroom were both huge and clean. We ate dinner at an Austrian restaurant that was about a 3 minute walk from the Pension that was awesome! The owner is very friendly & accommodating, the WiFi worked well, the yogurt and fruit with coffee and tea in the morning was good, it was extremely easy to reach the Pension from the center of Salzburg, and there was plenty of parking. I highly recommend this Pension and will definitely stay here again the next time we are anywhere near Salzburg!

Cons: Wish it was closer to my place of work !
6.7 Good
Pros: The location was quite central for us, and on-site parking was handy. The room itself was fairly comfortable and quite large.

8.8 Excellent
Cons: The House is on the mainroad from Salzburg. There was a lot of noise from cars and trucks Night an Day.

Featured amenities include express check-in, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and a 24-hour front desk. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was huge and the variety of pillows was great for people who may need more than one (like me). The bathroom was lovely, really clean, all the appliances worked a dream. One of the little things I really liked was when you put the room key into the wall to activate the lights, the television turned on displaying a fish tank scene, which was just a lovely little touch which put a smile on my face. I loved how the little balcony edge was glass, as it made the room light and airy.
Cons: The only thing I found was that when using the hairdryer in the bathroom and when having the hot shower on, the bathroom itself got VERY warm and humid, to the point we had to open the door for 10 minutes before me or my partner went in for a shower. If there was some kind of fan system that was easier to locate that would have made it much better. Also, this is only a small thing, but as an English guest, it would have been a dream if there was a kettle and some teabags/coffee in the room, we can’t survive without our morning cup of tea...!
7.0 Good
Pros: I love the ambience that has a tasteful modern design. The furnitures are comfortable and soothing to the eye.
Cons: The carpet needs to be vacuum daily. I will be happy to have the possibility to have some drinks in the room.

Cons: Nothing it was beautiful, breakfast was good, beds were comfortable.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: We really liked and greatly appreciated the excellent friendly, helpful staff. The location was great. The coffee machine in the room was nicer than expected. We really liked this cozy hotel and found it to be a good value,
Cons: This was our fault for not looking closer, but when we arrived we went to the wrong hotel location (there were two). Took us only 10 min or so to correct the error and get to this one. There is really nothing we didn't like. We did not try the breakfast so have no feedback on that.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Walking distance to the old town, two great restaurants on the same street and close to the river
7.5 Good
Pros: Good location, hotel staffs are very nice to share lots information about traffic.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, room, staff
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location is fantastic--in the Neustadt just across the river from the old town. It was very beautiful and quiet. The great Johanneskeller restaurant is directly across the street, and the Mozart Wohnhaus is around the corner (the Café Classic by the Wohnhaus is great for a cheap, traditional breakfast or lunch). Parking was easy at Mirabellplatz, a few blocks away (it is 30€/day in 2019).
Cons: The pillows were a bit thin for my taste, but there was an extra in the closet.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The room was very clean and spacious. The bathroom was very large. The staff at the front desk was very nice. The location is very central.
Cons: the pillows were a bit uncomfortable. The bathroom was large, but the shower was very small.

Cons: It’s overall amazing , but the bathroom / toilet could’ve been more spacious.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast, and very friendly staff. Lovely views too. Its a short walk to the city centre.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: None
8.3 Excellent
Pros: A quiet location near the town center. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Nice garden.
Cons: Place was not easy to find. Squeaky floor and bed, making us uncomfortable to move around in the evening. The bath"room" was newly refurbished but was more like a closet with glass doors than a room. Even though the place is very high in the landscape you have no scenery due to high trees on the lot (1st floor).
9.6 Excellent
Cons: Bathroom is very small. Shower entrance has aprox.40 cm
4.0 Okay
