Cons: This hotel is old and the carpeting was dirty and smelly. This hotel is way past needing to be updated.
Pros: Super comfy BED! Breakfast was good.
Cons: I did not like the coffee pot location... in the bathroom??? Really? The couch in the room was not very nice... one of the arms on the chair was worn/torn and a feeble attempt at covering it up with like fabric did not adhere and was loose. The cushions were also very flat. I also could hear people walking around in the room above us.
Cons: Alittle on the noisy side. Paper thin walls.
Pros: Large room.
Pros: Comfort Suites at Royal Ridges really surprised me. I was looking for a clean, comfortable, safe place to rest after a conference at Green Lake. I received a beautiful spacious room, with fluffy pillows .and extra blankets. The bathroom had plush bath towels and a sparkling white floor. The staff were always pleasant and helpful and manners are so important to me. I did not have time to visit the hot tub and pool on this trip, so I will be back :) Thank you so much! Renee Moynihan
Cons: I would have liked a pod coffee maker like a Keurig. I felt a little guilty brewing 4 cups when I only had time for one.
Pros: Location, staff was pleasant.
Cons: Ill fitting sheets, stained couch, smelled bad in room and in hallway
Pros: The staff was very friendly and accomodating.
Pros: The breakfast was excellent! It had a little of everything so would meet anyone's needs. The staff member who was in charge of the breakfast was extremely hospitable and a delight as she helped others
Cons: I would have liked the pool to be open by 7 am as I am an early bird and wished I could have started my day in the pool.
Pros: Nice breakfast, and the game room was nice. The hot tub was nice too.
Cons: The pool was cold. The bike and other workout equipment needed new batterys.

Cons: LOAD VENT FAN IN THE BATHROOM.
Pros: Place was clean staff was willing to help us out whatever we needed
Cons: Everything was great
Pros: Owner very accomodating
Pros: Easy check-in; park right in front of room door
Cons: Very basic accommodations with few frills. Property could definitely use some remodeling
Pros: I was pleasantly surprised! The room felt like a good hotel room, even though this was a motel. An excellent place to call home base while traveling to the area. Great shower and friendly front desk.
Pros: Very convenient location. Large room. Manager was extremely friendly and helpful.
Pros: Friendly manager. Rooms were small but provided everything I needed.

Pros: Nice pool and hot tub. Very clean
Pros: Staff were great.
Pros: The value for are travel plans
Cons: Had to return room key to front desk several times to be reactivated.
Pros: Location was easy to get to There are interesting things in Redgranite It is close to Pearl Lake
Cons: The fact that the bathroom light made a noise like a pump was running. It made this noise for 4 minutes then stopped for 4 minutes. So, I would just start to fall asleep and it would prevent me from sleeping. After a long busy day I really needed to sleep. About 3-4 AM I went to the front desk since the noise was so obnoxious, I thought that other guests were also bothered,. The front desk person did not understand why I could not rest. He finally came to the room and after listening to the noise a couple of times determined it was the bathroom fixuture. At this point I was wide awake and gave up trying to get a good nights rest.
Pros: My stay here was quiet and comfortable
Cons: I can't think of anything I didn't like.
Pros: I can't answer most of these questions because due to my husband having a heart attack we couldn't stay at this place. I called 4-5 days ahead to cancel the reservation explaining why I needed to cancel. I was told that the money for the room couldn't not be returned. But was told that they would talk to who ever handled the reservations & I would hear back either way. I never received a response from anyone. No email, no phone call & no letter. Sometime next month we will be visiting friends in the area but "I will not making a reservation at this hotel". I will be making a reservation for 2 nights as soon as it's settled which days we will be there. Farther more my daughter & myself will be traveling to Virginia for a week & I will not be making any reservations at any place association with this chain of motels. We do a lot of traveling & probably stay in motels 20-25 times each year. I realize about there will not be any refund but at least under the circumstances invoked that some kind of money would be returned to me. Even if the amount is 50% of the charge would go a long way towards a really good writing about our stay. We also go to Packer games 3 times a year but again we will take our money somewhere that appreciate people that use your facilities. So the bottom line is this: possible income from us for a year could be somewhere in the amount of $1500.00 + for the $108.00 charge. That's not a very good rate of income that your model chain will not be paid. Thank you. Margarette Peterson
Cons: More understanding that there's no guarantees in life which would include this booking
Pros: Clean and modern room
Cons: Heat control knob was broken, couldnt quite get it warm Room smelled like mothballs
Cons: Terrible customer service. Avoid this place.
Pros: I liked that I didn't have to pay extra for things like pool ,wifi, breakfast ect. And I found the hotel and staff very pleasant and helpful. I would recommend it to other travelers. The only thing I can think of is it's
Cons: There is no restaurants close by. But a gas station convienence store across the street. I have nothing bad to say about the hotel
Cons: Our room temp was either too hot or too cold...breakfast ran out of batter mix and not restocked. My conditioner had been used
8.0 Excellent (170 reviews)

Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and a 24-hour front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The staff was friendly and courteous. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The pool was inviting but unfortunately we were on a time constraint. I’d recommend it to anyone traveling to this area.
Cons: The building could use some care. The eaves need attention, due to peeling paint. Other than that, the grounds were attractive.
Pros: The pool area
Cons: Pool was to cold. Hot tub and sauna could have been cleaner. Sauna heat timmer did not work properly. Let public use pool for a small fee. Young kids came in late and did not shower before using pool and hot tub. Made water dirty very uncomfortable.
Pros: The building and rooms could use some general repair such as paint and caulking in the restrooms but overall was clean and comfortable. Location was great and the person who checked us in was friendly and helpful.
Cons: Rooms where over priced. I would expect to pay those rates for a much nicer place but had no other choice but to pay the high rate as all other hotels were booked for a local event. I was however, grateful to be able to get a room at relatively short notice.
Pros: Big room, swimming pool, breakfast
Cons: Locker in our room did not work good
Pros: The rooms were great
Cons: The bed and pillows were a little hard
Pros: Your staff was freindly
Cons: Had peeling paint and rotten wood on edging flashing Small extra roof below 2nd floor worped sad to see
Pros: The staff was very nice.
Cons: Bathrooms were very small. Set up of our king suite room was strange.
Cons: Smelly and dirty rooms
Pros: My husband loved the biscuits and gravy. The area was neat and clean
Cons: It as a little old. Could use and update.
Pros: Reasonable selection in the morning. The room was clean and it was a calm location.
Pros: Very warm and inviting!!
Pros: The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and the breakfast was adequate. I like that they are pet friendly.
With a stay at Magnuson Hotel Countryside Lodge in Berlin, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Vines and Rushes Winery and Thrasher Opera House. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Convenient and easy-check-in. The breakfast options (included with the room) are above average.
Pros: Could not have been more accommodating to our group gathered from 3 states visiting local family. Welcoming small dogs was a big +
Cons: Owner complained that we booked online. Kind of a jerk!
Pros: It was non smoking and had an air conditioner that worked.
Cons: We booked a king size bed but we ended up with two full size beds. When I confronted the management, they said there was nothing they could do about it. Also for the price we paid I was expecting a nicer tv/furniture.
Pros: The hotel is in a prime location for Berlin.
Cons: There is no elevator. The light in the bathroom took several minutes to come on.
Pros: We have a family of five; the suite arrangement works perfectly.
Pros: The room was clean and comfortable. Easy to find. Close to the hospital where we had to go. Close to restaurants and shops in the area.
Cons: Could have used an extra roll of toilet paper.
Pros: Peace and quiet! I
Cons: Back entrance door did not close properly!
Pros: Very nice and friendly Reception. The room was clean and well appointed with free internet and a nice selection of TV channels.
Cons: Breakfast was a little short on quality and choices even tho a continental. One bed had a tired mattress.
Cons: He was rude
Pros: Location close to my convention. Nearby restaurants.
Cons: Room smelled, peeling paint, had to “shoulder” the door every time I entered the room. Sheets were not changed during my 3 night stay.
Pros: Manager did her best to be helpful and was cordial and friendly. They had the a/c running when we got there. Restaurants were within walking distance.
Cons: Noisy a/c, facilities in general have seen better times. Continental breakfast was modest.
Pros: No smoking allowed.
Cons: Every 7 minutes the air conditioner would loudly wind up and rhythmically start thumping. No breakfast or staff around at checkout, 6:00 am.
Cons: All of it! We got there and the lobby smelled awful - like stale cigarettes and another smell I couldn't identify. There were several large black ants crawling across the front desk. We got to our room and that was terrible. The sink outside the bathroom looked like it would fall off at any moment, the water in the bathroom shower barely got above room temp, you couldn't even shut the bathroom door all the way! Because of the giant room divider between the bathroom and the rest of the room, there was a 6 inch gap in the door. It would not shut. Gave you absolutely no privacy. And the "headboard" on the king bed we had only covered half the bed. My husband was nice enough to sleep on the side that was exposed - and the exposed side had a panel of 4-5 light switches that operated the rest of the lights in the room. Very poor place for those to go. The entire experience was awful. We actually considered booking a different hotel, but it was already 9:30pm and we were in town for a funeral and just didn't have it in us to try to find a new place. DO NOT STAY HERE. Unfortunately I didn't think to take my own photos, so you'll just have to take my word for it.
Pros: Nothing it was dirty dated and should not appear on your sight!
Cons: It smelled bad.Had no elevators and the TV's came out of the 60s.
Pros: Quiet, close to destination.
Cons: Beds very well worn, sheets also. Breakfast very minimal.
Cons: Old, run down, no security on front door of property, hard old inner spring bed
Pros: There was no breakfast! The attendant said they were out of food. It appeared that there never was. Also the vending machine was empty!
Cons: Poor mattress, toilet stool leaked, not a very comfortable place to lounge around in! Only one towel per person,
Pros: That it was close to town to walk places
Cons: A few things that didn’t work so well was the door as hard time getting it to open or lock. The shower cap kept coming off and handle was half broke hard to pull out for shower.
Pros: The location of our class reunion was close. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was ready and had plenty of room for myself and my wife. The bathroom was well vented and all fixtures worked well.
Cons: Their room was cold and there was no heat and this caused my wife to ask for an extra blanket. There was no wake-up call available so I had to depend on my Smart-phone. The sheets and pillows were not fresh and clean, The locke on the door to our room was taped over with ducktape but the deadbolt worked well and we felt safe. The quoted price was $89 but we had to pay $112 with tax and fees.
Pros: The air conditioning was cold, the room was clean.
Cons: No continental breakfast just coffee and Kwik Trip doughnuts. Beds were old, saggy very uncomfortable to sleep on and pills were hard also! Very outdated rooms and facility. The water was not hot enough to take a shower at 8 in the morning. No air conditioning in lobby or hallways. Snack machine was totally empty.
Pros: The staff was friendly and accommodating.
Cons: The facility is old and very run down. The bathroom was clean but just old with no upgrading in decades. The bathroom door's veneer has been ripped off and the door did not close. The small refrig handle was covered in food...I did not look inside. The one of the bed's mattress almost hit the floor when I sat on it....my weight is 105. The sheets felt like some rubber substance was on them. The wall paper in the area of the ice machine is peeling off the wall and has exposed mold on both the existing wall paper & the wall. There was masking tape on the front door that had been painted over! The place was a disaster! Also no breakfast! We moved to the Comfort Inn the next night.
