Nice clean, quiet double, room. We booked in advance through a webpage linked to Kayak that offered a great discount compared to the Hilton webpage. On arrival I was told I would have to pay for WI-FI since I had used a discount site. I am a Hilton rewards member, so the reception desk staff gave me a complimentary password. The Wi-Fi was not the strongest, but it sufficed. The $35 per day parking is typical for hotels in the area. The good thing was that there are two level 2 EV chargers in the parking area reserved for guests. We drive an EV and had travelled 180 miles to the Bethesdan. We were able to recharge overnight. Over the course of 5 days there was only one time the 2 chargers were both in use. We were able to top the charge off for our return trip. The location is safe for walking and great for restaurants. We had Indian, Ethiopian, Korean, and Mexican food, all within walking distance. There is also a Trader Joe’s for snacks two blocks away.
Parking garage is difficult to access and make turns. Very limited storage space for clothes in room. I do not like the "environmental" dispensers of shampoo and body wash in shower.
Pros. Breakfast was good. Check out time was convenient (noon not 11 am). Coffee in lobby was also an added perk.
Cons. Old building with musty carpeting and dated internal décor. Very little sitting room in lobby. No closets in room.
Pros. Efficient check in and out. Comfortable bed.
Cons. No restaurant (closed for remodeling?). Hot water was barely warm. Towels felt like sandpaper. Parking fees were outrageous.
Pros. The bed was very comfortable
Cons. Parking was extremely limited, and had to park behind TD bank. Took a while to check in, never got a receipt for my room stay.
Pros. The hotel staff were extremely nice, and valet was amazing. Rooms clean and comfy. Great location with nice restaurants and a grocery store a short walk away. Great value...perfect for DC area.
Cons. Only 1 of 3 elevators was working, and after notifying hotel staff, it seemed no one was called to fix the problem.
Pros. Atmosphere. Extremely clean. Friendly staff
Pros. breakfast was very good. rooms were good. staff was good.
Cons. one elevator out of three working wasn't fixed for the entire 4 night stay. breakfast not included
Pros. Quiet room, well maintained.
Cons. Restaurant a bit expensive for breakfast.
