close to the airport very comfortable bed free coffee non smoking-supposedly some guests were smoking and none of the staff called them on it the entertainment system in the room required a special cord to connect your personal device, which signage said was available at the desk- the 2 girls looked at me as if I had 2 heads and could not find the cords
Decor & layout was unique along with a great snack area, billiards table & social areas in lobby area,. Friendly staff. Though clean lots of scuff marks on walls, stains around shower door hinges , and similar"long term" maintenance things is starting to give a run down appearance to an otherwise unique and fun place to stay.
Check in was easy, no hassle. The room was nice, what you would expect for the price. The bartender was rude. No knowledgeable in the basics of bartending. No continental breakfast. Had to pay $3 for a basic razor
Friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds, convenient to airport No continental breakfast
The bar Room was dirty staff unprofessional
The staff was amazing, Tamera, Jamal, Gladys, Cliff and last but certainly not least Niya! They were so amazing I'd take a trip from Phoenix to Baltimore JUST to see them. They truly are the definition of hospitality My only concern was it took almost 2wks to receive my incidentals deposit back. But that's attributed to processing times through financial institutions.
I always feel comfortable at Aloft locations. All service staff including housekeeping were very friendly and responsive to a "Hello". In general the hotel and room seemed very clean and smelled fine. The bed was very comfortable and the linens bath etc were all in good order But due to some abuse by guests the room was looking a little worn. ie:Scratches in wall finish & headboard.
Facility is quite old $ tired. Various things were missing or didn't work. Location is isolated, not close to many restaurants or shops. Staff did all they could to make up for facility shortcomings.
There were no towels in my room. I called 4 times to ask for towels and got no answer.
Nothing This establishment over the duration of four days charged my credit card four times after I had prepaid for the room, not including an incidental charge, totaling $360.00. The staff was not able to explain the charges, and could not get a manager on the phone to speak with me. According to the staff, every time I asked to speak with a manager, there wasn't a manager on duty. The staff would call the manager in my company and be directed to a voice mail, and leave a message. They do have a pool, but the hours of operation are slim. The pool is not open until 4pm when a lifeguard is on duty. That brings me to another issue, I caught the lifeguard smoking marijuana just outside the back door to the hotel (which is right by the pool). I'm not normally against people smoking marijuana, however, I do have an issue with it when peoples lives could be in jeopardy. Because of this experience, I will never stay at another W hotel.
The front desk clerk was exceptional. The first room I had had a small odor and what appeared to be mold. I went to the front desk and they moved me to a new room and he gave me a snack to boot
Clientele....there was an aggressive panhandler roaming the grounds. Whether they were or not, some guests seemed to be living there semi-permanently. Although the rooms have been redone, the motel seems dated. The clock was difficult to figure out as to how to set it. There seemed to be people roaming around all evening.
Scott at front desk was very professional and helpful. I was looking for a place near the airport for one night and with shuttle service to and from airport and not too expensive. The shuttle service also drove me to dinner and picked me up after.
All essential, very clean. The employed charmers.
It was convenient and price was good. Night staff was grumpy. Room was a little smelly
I liked that my check in went very smoothly and the room was pretty decent. We go no warning that maintenance was being down on the streets and we were going to be out of water and there was absolutely no parking. We had to park next door at the Hilton. When we called the front desk the lady told me I could park on the grass or something but there was no guarantee that my car wouldn't be towed because she didn't work for the Hilton.
I was disappointed that there was no microwave or fridge in my room. I ended up moving and paying another ~$12 to get them. Otherwise fine.
Good staff No breakfast
Everything was okay so far
Clean room Quick staff
The room was clean and nice overall. Loved how they accepted our pets. Sheets had a few stains and needed to be changed. TV service was out for the first few hours we were there. No breakfast
New room with desk for work. No frills.
The staff and manager went out of their way to make our stay great.
the location was perfect. they had a free shuttle from airport and free parking. nothing
Great location The room wasn't as clean as expected
The restaurant/bar The sheets were very scratchy. The bed was not soft. Not what I have come to expect from Sheratons. Did not get a good nights sleep because of it. This is important to me. I would probably choose another location next time I'm in the area.
Proximity to restaurants, the airport and the mall for shopping. The friendly, knowledgeable staff is a bonus. Nothing that would keep me from not coming back.
Absolutely nothing, staff are terrible, rooms are beyond old and creepy, housekeeping doesn't even know how to make a bed properly, more like an old bed and breakfast! There was dirty pillow cases... Ewwww and towels! Worst hotel ever Absolutely nothing, staff are terrible, rooms are beyond old and creepy, housekeeping doesn't even know how to make a bed properly, more like an old bed and breakfast! Really should be rated a 4 star. Nice newer Sheraton, very clean driving and updated property.

The hotel was convenient to the activities I partook in. This was not a 3.5 star hotel. The bathroom was not up to par. The shower had cracks in the tile and had mildew spots in the bottom corners
Checking Out!!! Room not ready, Rude staff, didn't feel welcome, Polystyrene cups in rooms. Breakfasr area looked like a tornado had passed through. Foods not labelled. Staffs outfits needed an iron.
The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Pool did not open until 3:00pm. (Traveling with kids and main reason for choosing hotel was pool.) Cafe with coffee bar was closed. Very limited convenience items available for purchase. No gift shop. Room had very bright flashing green light all night.
Great location, nice staff, and very clean. There are no charging stations in the room. They do not have USB plug-in stations so don't forget your charging base.
Modern look of the room. Water in the room. The holes in my shower curtain. The stains on my comforter and wash cloths. Being charged twice. Calling the hotel twice to get a refund and still not getting it. Having to call the corporate office to be refunded. Not being comped in any form or fashion.
Friendly and professional staff. Could use some additional staff in the lounge.
I liked the bed the most.I wish i couldve taken it home!it was very soft, puffy and clean. Also very high quality. well food should have been included. even if it was more expensive but it would saved you the hassle, and wel trips with the shuttle for those who dont know Baltimore. it was free within 3 miles but i didnt know what i would find to see within 3 miles.(because i know nothing about baltimore)
Very nice hotel and the front desk agent was very nice. The shuttle driver on the 7:30am shuttle was great very friendly. They need to cut the trees around the sign on the street. It was a little hard to see.
Clean and comfortable but a bit pricey.Shuttle service to BWI should be more frequent
On site restaurant and bar. Decor was very elegant.
Very clean and comfortable.
The restaurant within the hotel was great. Really good food and service. The lobby was also very welcoming, and the rooms, as well as the hotel overall, were very clean.
Comfortable, clean hotel with professional and helpful staff. Room keys got demagnetized twice during our two-night stay, bit of an inconvenience when carrying luggage and whatnot upstairs, then having to go back down. Staff were helpful and apologetic in fixing the problem.
Room was clean and close to the airport.
Shuttle service Not having breakfast for free and it was expensive to buy given the quality.
Welcome when first arrived. Good location. Good price. Room was well appointed, roomy and clean. Just right - bar, food, just the right size. Had to leave after the weekend.
I loved the cleanliness of the room and that it was large enough for two people to sleep comfortably. The furniture and room environment seems kind of dated.
The bed was comfortable and the room smelled and looked clean! I was impressed.
I loved it. I woul be staying there again real soon, breakfast was great, I had a comfortable sleep everything was amazing
I was pleasantly surprised by the comfort and cleanliness of this hotel. It was a great deal, the staff was extremely professional and attentive and the room was clean and comfortable. Definitely staying here again!
Great front desk person. Adequate breakfast. The facilities were tired and needed freshening.
The Hampton Inn Baltimore-Washington gave us a free shuttle to the airport and back when we returned. This was very convenient and appreciated. No complaints.
The breakfast was wonderful. The staff was friendly. The room was dirty and outdated. The bed was a hard slab.
Staff was friendly, rooms are modern and very clean. Super comfy bed and pillows
I was picked up at the airport by shuttle late at night and taken to the Hampton where I was promptly checked in with no problems. My room was quiet and restful. I was alone but felt safe and comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was complementary and good. Everything was just what I needed. Nothing.
It was clean, quiet, and their free shuttle was super convenient. Breakfast was good also.
Affordable price. comfortable and clean room. Nice hot breakfast. Counter in the bathroom had an odd stain in the granite on it clearly wasn't dirty just kind of odd.
Very noisy from the jet traffic. Heat pump 3' from the bed went on every three minutes and ran for just one. Making a third party reservation deleted the free parking for our trip. Manager forced us to move the car to long term parking off site even after offering to pay extra....unbending. Totally unsatisfactory. I cannot recommend Hampton, they have lost me and my company personnel as a customer.
Room was clean, bed was a bit too hard for us but it is in a great location and property appears to be well taken card of. Very busy due to proximity to airport. Shuttle was prompt in pickup and drop off at airport. Day driver during weekdays of shuttle was very friendly and could teach front desk how to treat guests. Saw little hospitality from front desk staff. No welcome to Hampton Inn or thank you upon check out. It takes so little to show you appreciate your guests.
The Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Donna, our van driver. The breakfast had lots of hot and cold choices. The fruit was fresh. It was a 5 minute drive to the airport.
My toilet kept getting clogged and my tv wouldn't turn off and couldn't change the channel
very friendly - willing to go the extra mile for you
easy check in close to highway into the city Clogged sink, very loud, poor appliances our iron and hair dryer barely worked and when asked about it they said it was functioning as normal.
The Quality Nothing.....
it was a great stay
Front desk staff was very nice. Buffet had a great selection.
Everything Everything was lovely I have nothing bad to say
This hotel had the worst service I've ever had. The overbooked a co-workers room, and charged a room to the incorrect credit card. The front desk service was impatient and impolite. We will not be staying at this hotel again.
Rooms were very quiet. Dinner fare at the restaurant was reasonably priced and of higher quality than I would have suggested. Staff were both professional and kind.
Staff to include shuttle driver very nice and food was taste good. Room while appears renovated appeared, rushed cleaning ie lamp shades crooked, bed covers should be tucked possibly with chocolate and name of cleaning person; gives a personal touch. Possily use a fresh "clean scent" cleaning product; Just the small things seemed over looked but all in all good value for price.
Not a single thing other than the location in connection to the airport. First and foremost, we checked in relatively early in the evening, but since we booked online, my wife and I got a handicap room. If that was not enough, this room has some flying bugs (they looked like moths) that were flying throughout. After asking to be moved to another room, I was told that no accommodations could be made. The bed was fair from comfortable and the bathtub completely backed up while showering. Not to mentioned, there were a number of what appeared to be pubic hairs that lined the bathroom floor. When I complained the next morning (we tried to leave but everything around us was booked in other hotels), we were met with very little interest in fixing the situation. From start to finish, it was the worse experience. I have ZERO desire to stay at this facility EVER again.
Great location for next morning flight. Easy access to airport. Quiet room.
Spacious room Lousy routers and internet access
I loved the bartender at the hotel bar who closed both Friday and Saturday night. She was very guest oriented. There was also a maintenance man who was very helpful on Sunday morning. The staff was great!!! There were kids running around the hotel All hours...they were loud and tracking water all over the lobby since they were running from the pool and then into the lobby and then back to the pool. Develop a system to let guests know if large groups of kids are staying at the hotel.
The bed was super comfortable! Loved the indoor pool + hot tub! When I booked the hotel it stated, high speed WiFi and complimentary breakfast. NOPE!!!!! You have to pay $12.49 for the WiFi and we thought the breakfast was COMPLIMENTARY but half was through eating and nice lady put a $39 bill on our table. I asked the reception "that I thought the breakfast was complimentary" they told me that only when you upgrade your room when booking it's free. Well don't be fooled because I was. My conformation says complimentary breakfast, but they told me my room did not come with it! The only reason I booked this hotel was it had great reviews and the WiFi and free breakfast. Let's just say lesson learned and I won't be returning!! If WiFi and free breakfast is a want like it was for me, this hotel is not for you!
Great hotel, friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, easy access to Arundel Mills, Baltimore and D.C. I had a great time.
Everything about the hotel met expectations and the price was reasonable. The restaurant and bar are best avoided. Overpriced and poor service.
Staff was incredible Elevator didn't go all the way to the top floor where we were staying
Very cleanrooms, nice pool and gym facilities. Bartender using hands in condiments after blowing nose and eating a sandwich. Server in restaurant used hand too. Very gross! Pool area large indoor, nice area.
The staff was great. Very friendly and polite. Very good food in the restaurant. The availability of the shuttle to take people to and from the airport or to the metro stop was a big plus.
Friendly staff. This hotel is under construction. Should have been told that prior to booking. Heating unit in my initial room failed even after maintenance tried to repair. Slept in a cold room for the first 2 nights and acquired a head cold making my trip and training miserable.
Curtis was outstanding ! The two chi, Vicky and Andy were so patient and their omelets are to die for. I have stayed in many Embassy Suites. This was the best ! Need cranberry juice on breakfast juices. Fan for bathroom. Keep smokers away from congregating at front door.
That we got to leave after 6 hours. the whole thing
The price was reasonable. The breakfast was decent. The location was good. TV positioned good. the bathtub water knob was loose. The drain was not attached. The bathroom ceiling had splotchy paint spots. The refrig not plugged in needed assistance.
Friendly staff. Quiet. Plenty of hot, steaming water. Air conditioner kept place cold. Airport shuttle available and schedule without requesting information. Breakfast was extremely limited and necessary items not available. Ice Machine was always empty. Pillow cases looked very dirty. Took some time for temperature to come down. Felt a little cramped.
I liked the location I liked the large shower (we were unnecessarily put in a wheelchair accessible room) **I didn't like the living bugs in the room: centipede, baby roaches, stink bug **I didn't like the broken air conditioner/heating unit. Heater only worked properly when set on air conditioner mode-- woke up in middle of night in EXTREME heat because the heater ran as if it was set on 100 degrees **I didn't like WAITING BOTH DAYS and FOR A LONG TIME on COFFEE in the morning. It was a problem for others as well. IN ADDITION, I didn't like that the continental breakfast set up on the 2nd floor the first day where the coffee was, but the second morning when no coffee was available again, we waited & waited, until finally the janitor checked to see where the refill staff was, to find out the new coffee was being served downstairs on a new machine IN A ZONED OFF AREA where staff said we could walk into (who knew? No one was there). The janitor asked the manager if he should take down the zone tape now that the new floors were installed, but she told him no. Not only was it was INCONVENIENT and RUDE that STAFF DIDN'T INFORM ANYONE that the place to get coffee was now moved to a different floor, and not even with the rest of the food, but that we also had to duck underneath the zone tape to access it. Very ridiculous. **I didn't like being woke up the entire night by some very heavy person above us doing exercises or something back and forth the floor about a hundred time. **Bedding and curtains and general appearance very outdated. **I didn't like that there was NO SINK SPACE OR ANY COUNTERTOP SPACE in the bathroom for anything.
Nothing Mold growing on the wallls horrible pillows dirty sheets. The room smelled horrible
Cheap and close to airport An internal issue cause them to not have my reservation when I checked in...thankfully a moot point though. The room smelled so bad if cleaning products however I almost couldn't sleep, that was the first time I've experienced that at a hotel. Definitely not staying at Microtels anymore after this.
Front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. Run down room, milldued caulking in the bathroom
The food was ok Everything, there was cigarette holes in the blanket, dirty floor and smelly pillows, this one member of the staff was rude, the place needed better lighting (looked like a dungeon), there was a plunger by the vending machines, the halls were too hot, the air conditioning was weak ( we had to set it to the lowest setting and it was still too hot) . one of the worst microtels i have ever been to, this place shouldnt even be a microtel by wyndham.
Convenient location to the airport. Good breakfast with updated lobby area and pretty friendly staff. The room was small which was fine except it brought to light all it's shortcomings. The toilet when first opened had toilet paper in the bowl in a sea of dilute urine. The pedestal of same toilet was not cleaned in some time and came with dried urine splatter. The renovation work done to the bathroom looked very unfinished and elementary. Mismatched paint splotches on wall, sloppy grouting and caulking around and in the shower/bath tub and broken/cracked floor tile at its entrance. In the room, the dark blue carpet was dirty looking and in one place there were two paint roller marks of white or light colored paint. The immediate outdoor space...weedy grass that was not cut in weeks, beer cans, soda bottles, cigarette packs and general refuse in that grass and in the parking lot, weeds taking over the plant beds. It's the worst outdoor space of anyplace I've ever stayed, unkempt and screamed "we don't care".
Great value, clean, friendly, no complaints A little down in the heels, expected more from the Wyndham name
Near BWI airport and car rental return. Near freeway. Near gas station. Nice building and surrounding. Decent free breakfast. Free and decent wifi. Decent room with a nice window seat. The hallway and breakfast room is warm, seems like AC is not running high enough. Room AC is OK.
Very clean and comfortable room. Every staff member we met was friendly and helpful. Hot tub didn't work.
The staff was very nice and willing to assist with any request. The room was clean and well appointed. Wireless is only availiable in the lobby.
The shuttle service was excellent. The lady that picked us up arrived about 5 minutes after we called at 1:30am and was very friendly and helpful.
The tv in the room was nice and I had no problems connecting to Wifi. The bathroom was not clean at all. There were some sort of stains on the tub and the floor. The toilet seat had a burn mark on the top. Also the room smelled musty when I first walked in. This is an older hotel and needs some major upgrades. I could barely get the door open when I got to the room. It was practically stuck. Had to force it open.
The staff was excellent--the most effective and pleasant that I've experienced in a long time. From the shuttle drivers to the front desk, they were anexcellent team.
The BWI Hilton was very clean, well appointed, and well maintained. The staff was friendly, efficient, and professional. It was an excellent value. Having a refrigerator and microwave in the room was appreciated. I would definitely stay here again.
The complimentary cookies they are known for are not only delicious but make you feel at home. The staff was friendly and helpful and the hotel was always clean. I will definitely be booking here when I come to Baltimore again next month. Could never find a parking spot.
The cleanliness I did not receive the room I paid for and was not notified of the change.
Good location for business Hotel was under major renovation and I was unaware of this when booking.
My stay at the Doubletree by Hilton was great. The room was super clean and comfortable; I stayed in a king room. The gym was in good shape as well. Not many options but standard for a hotel. I didn't get a chance to hit the pool but did see a lifeguard on duty. I would definitely stay here again.
I loved the size of the room. It was large and roomy. The shower was dark and one of the lights were out in the bathroom.
We were concerned about pets because of our severe allergies but the staff steam cleaned our room before we arrived. It was immaculate and smelled so fresh! Every concern I brought to the staff because of our special needs was not only met with a smile but Michelle went above and beyond to make us so comfortable. Breakfasts were made fresh and hot every morning with a different selection each day along with the usual'S. We ate so much each morning we didn't dine again until late afternoon. Thank you TownPlace Suites Baltimore bwi for one of the best hotel experiences we've had in a long time!
The walls are so thin you could hear everything, my husband didn't sleep at all. There are obviously people staying there long term... kids running around unsupervised, people doing laundry, walking around with no shoes. It was like staying in a noisy apartment building.
Clean, to the point. All employees I interacted with were professional and friendly.
Security could have been better, but I enjoyed myself. Also, airport's fault...sent me to wrong Marriott. But, I got there 3 hrs after my plane landed. BWI Marriott was on my confirmation (nothing said Courtyard). Bed was comfortable! Check out time is nice:)
The smell from some sort of air freshener was very overwhelming. Had to turn on the air and open the window. Asked the person at the front desk if every room had this strong fragrance and was told he had no way to know. Not very helpful. Would not stay at this location again.
Fast check in, free breakfast Booked for 4 adults, but given 1 king bed. I called ahead to inform them that we are checking in late due to very heavy traffic in the hi-way. When we got there it was already 3am but they already have our key ready which about the only positive.A big surprise when we got to the room as there was only 1 king size bed. Another problem was the parking, they didn't have enough for all guests. We will not stay at this hotel again.
It served its purpose as a place to sleep before an early flight and was perfectly fine for that. The bed was a tad hard.
Breakfast was good. Staff was very friendly. Room smelled stale and a bit musky
The free USA Today newspaper A very tasteful and complete breakfast. The Internet Wi-Fi connectivity. The friendly and courteous ladies at the front desk. The hard working ladies that cleaned my room. The noisy people in the room next door.
Near bwi. Nice towels and linens. Bed was comfy. No eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, gravy, biscuits in the breakfast you come to expect at la quintals. The hotel is in need of an update. Material condition is poor.
The hotel itself was nice, there were renovations going on and I got a renovated room. I was going to give this an excellent review but I made a mistake and booked for 3 days rather than 3 nights which I take full responsibility for. Instead of calling me, the staff took all of my clothes and things and stuffed them into my bags, mixing my clean and dirty clothes, shoes, laptop, anything you would normally have. Then taking the bags which were left open and putting them in a housekeeping closet, keep in mind, my laptop and kindle were in there. Then they called me at 330 pm making me aware that they noticed I vacated the room but didn't vacate my things. I called them back within 10 minutes and explained to them what happened. At first she thought she had mixed up the days and then she said that no, actually I had made the mistake. I asked them because they had my credit card on file if they charge another night. The person shut me down immediately and said I had to go back through the 3rd party to book another night. (kayak, priceline) I got off the phone and booked another room there immediately; which I wish I hadn't done but I was panicked because I was there for work. I got back to the hotel and got my bags which my stuff had been shoved in them without being closed. I asked if I could speak to a manager. I was really upset they went through my things and I did not understand why they didn't call me first to see what might have happened. The manager was not there so I called the corporate office. The could not have been any nicer, they said the would have the hotel manager call me within 24 hours. The manager called me back. I said that I took full responsibility for making the error but I was really upset with them that they did not contact me first before going through all my things, they had my credit card on file, I would have charged another night with no problem. He said that this was 50% my fault and so I should take part of the responsibility. Mind you, I said that this was partly my fault but I thought what he said was a totally inappropriate thing to say. He then said he did not have my contact information and they could not call me. I reminded him, they had all of my information from priceline which included my phone number. I also told him that his employee called me after they had done it so they must have had it on file. He acted surprised and said he would look into it. He then said that they were completely booked and this was the reason. I let him know that as soon as I got off the phone that I booked a room there immediately so it was not a no vacancy issue. Basically, I was really upset with the way I was treated and really upset that someone had gone through all of my things including electronics. The manager then called me back and said he talked to the employee and that upon further investigation he would comp my room. I'm not someone who complains a lot but I really want this place to understand that it is not okay to go through people's things and it should have been approached much differently.
We've stayed here at least three times. The service is excellent and we love to the quick airport transport.
great room with all the amenities nothing
The rooms were noisy. I was able to hear doors slamming, toilets flushing and people talking during the night. I could heat the person in the room next to me talking between 4 and 5 AM. The facilities were good.
The lobby was clean and convenient. And as a guest you felt welcomed. For the price can't go wrong. No real complaints. The location and lack of restaurants or stores was the only issue. Their shuttle seemed very willing to drop off but not pick up near by. .
Glad it had a pool. Elevator didn't work. Breakfast did not start until late so we didn't get to eat anything before our flight.
Very nice hotel. Breakfast space was nice and there was a lot of variety at breakfast. Good choice Breakfast ends at 9 am during the week. We were there on labor day breafast ended at 9 am. By the time we came down they were cleaning up already it was 9:10 . Should last until 10 am
Called for the hotel shuttle getting off the airplane. Told "15-20" minutes. Called after 30, told 15 minutes. Called after 15, told 10. Called after 10. Was told 10 more. Asked to speak to Manager on Duty. Told there would not be a manager available until morning. Van showed up during phone call. It is a 5 minute drive to the hotel, maybe 7 if you hit all the stop lights wrong. Van driver said he was only notified shortly before he arrived. Someone was lying. Tell me the truth. If I had known it would take an hour for the van, I'm sure I wouldn't have been happy but we could have taken a cab and at least been there in time to take a short walk for dinner.
Breakfast was perfect for grabbing something before hitting the road. Free wifi was essential for completing work after meetings. Room was clean and bed was comfortable.
Clean and modern. Breakfast had many choices but eggs and bacon could have been much better.
I enjoyed the cleanliness of the room and friendliness of the front desk staff. I didn't appreciate staff knocking on my door 2 hours before checkout to "see if I was still in the room" .
