The very best part of our stay in Bezier was the hotel staff at the hotel. We got so many good tips and ideas for trips to take and sights worth seeing, resturants and small villages to go to. As for the hotel itself, not very charming and realy not the best location for turists, but clean and funktional apartment hotel that worked very well for our stay. We stayed at the hotell during october and had no problems with parking, but in high season parking wil be a problem. Sound travels well in the building, and this will probably be a problem with a lot of families staying there in high season.
Very helpfull Staff Really clean room and hotel Well equipped kitchen The wireless Internet is not working in the bedrooms
Evrything was perfect for us. There was a lack of hot water for a long period on day 2.
The room, a studio, was spacious and very clean. It was good to prepare my own food. The building is modern and there is a lift. The bed, which was a sofa-bed, was extremely hard and very uncomfortable. The location was not central and the area was dirty and unfriendly.
easy walking distance to all attractions/brand new rooms the studio settee bed was rock hard and caused us both to suffer back pain during our stay
Smart, new accommodation. Fairly basic but modern, clean and efficient. Don't expect extensive hotel services - this is a residence but it is better than any of the hotels in Beziers. Secure parking and easy walking distance of the shops and restaurants. The opening hours of reception are limited (this region of France is like that!) but the manager phoned me on the day of arrival to check my arrival time and organise out of hours key collection if necessary - very proactive and presumably a response to some of the criticism in other reviews. Manager and staff were very helpful. Also, wired internet connection is 2 euros per day, not per hour as said by one reviewer. Overall, a convenient and comfortable place to stay and good value Reception hours really should be longer (typical of this region - they close for lunch and close for the night at 7pm). 10 am is a pretty early check-out, and they do knock your door to make sure you do.
The staff were helpfull. Good breakfast. The hotel is very clean Very short time for usiang the Internet by one person
nice clean room. Good underground parking place. no restaurant
Although small, the room was spotlessly clean and with good facilities. We were pleased to have access to BBC World on the television. It was well worth paying a small extra sum for garage parking in the middle of the town. We thought that the price of breakfast was far too high at 13 Euros per person per day for the buffet or 8 Euros at the bar. We therefore ate breakfast in local cafes which cost us between 6 and 7 Euros for the two of us.
The shower with the Grohe spray system The service was terrible. We requested a wakeup call. None came. We asked them to order a taxi, no call was made. They told us breakfast was at 6:30. No one was there and no breakfast was available.
Rooms a little on the small side, work desk v small.
small hotel, friendly welcome/service - new, comfortable and quiet rooms
Staff very kind Not much choice of food
Great breakfast; very kind staff; clean rooms; A/C worked our room was a bit small
Comfortable bed but room/bathroom small Need to walk across major roads (no pedestrian crosssin) to get to the Port but it took 5 mins only. You need a car to get to the beach
the room was modern and comfortable and fresh
the air conditioning and quiet room
Very helpful and friendly staff Room in need of redecoration
Very nice room, liked that we had a room overlooking the courtyard. Very convenient location for both the cathedral and the train station.
The breakfast at this hotel was excellent and the staff very helpful. Bedrooms were not as good as we would expect for a 3* hotel the bedroom toilets were virtually in a cupboard = very difficult for a large person. This hotel's facilities were more in line with a 1* and we were charged for garage spce which we were not told about at the time of booking.
Chic bedroom well presented in a good city centre location close to the fiesta
The staff were exceptionally friendly No tea/coffee facilities
Size of room. Separate wc. Double glazing. Good city view & balcony. Helpful staff. City location. Good atmosphere of a non chain hotel. Breakfast not very good. A few slices of ham and cheese and maybe boiled eggs would help at minimum cost. We went out for breakfast.
I enjoyed being able to walk out of the hotel into the centre of the prosperous shopping and restaurant part of the city, with easy access to the bus stop I felt that the hotel could really do with decor updating and tidying to match the inherant grandure and style of the building
The toilet in the wardrobe -- very funny. I wonder why they didn't put it in the bathroom? Lighting everywhere was too dim. Prett difficult to find somewhere light enough in the room to read.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
an overnight stop before i joined my tour the next day. the lady (?owner) on reception when i arrived was very helpful and we managed a conversation in english/french . the room was basic but clean and had a comfortable bed. did not have breakfast but looked good @€6.50. the bathroom in my room was a little on the small size, the hand basin was in an awkward position and small which made brushing teeth very difficult, first time i have brushed teeth in shower before!
The location of this hotel was perfect for walking anywhere in Beziers. There were some really great restaurants that were an easy 5-10 minute walk. It is also a great area for shopping (Galleries Lafayette was literally across the street). The family that runs the hotel is really nice and extremely helpful with booking bicycles, making restaurant suggestions, etc. The breakfast was excellent for the money. We got much more offered for breakfast than what we are used to in French hotels. There was some noise between the rooms (nothing unbearable though). There was hardly any traffic noise from outside, which was wonderful!
Very central to town. Staff friendly-phoned for taxi to airport. Breakfasts good-lots of coffee. Also near bus station.
very warm reception, very polite and competent clerk. simple standard of rooms, but very nice and welcoming.
Friendly and helpful owner, clean room, comfy bed, powerful shower, well priced, nice breakfast.
convenient for railway, city, and park.. very friendly and helpful staff. good breakfast pleasant room. nothing to dislike.
The breakfast was good, home made cake and yoghurt. The bath/shower room was very tiny.
Very convenient and attractive location in centre of the town. Small relaxed hotel, ideal for a short stay.
thin walls, noisy.
Lovely hotel, very clean room very comfortable, good location close to city centre, rail and bus links etc. very friendly helpful staff. Noisy guests next door on the last night of our stay.
location the staff were unhelpful not friendly they made us have breakfast and charged me £6 more than the quoted price, will not visit hotel again
Nice hotel in a good location. We stayed for 3 nights in early November 2010 with our 1 year old daughter. The hotel provided a cot at a charge of €8 per night as advertised. The room was fairly basic, clean with a small bathroom with a good shower. Our room was on the second floor with a small balcony, and other rooms on our floor had a very large balcony which would be nice in the summer. We did'nt pay for breakfast as it appeared that you did not get much for your €7 per person. The location is very good for the town and train station, and unlike many other hotels nearby is not next to a busy road. Would certainly stay here again having seen the location of other hotels nearby. Plenty to see in Beziers and the surrounding region.
being within easy walking distance of the town, and having front rooms (which we didn't have) overlooking the lovely park Poorly furnished. Needs updating. However, very clean and we enjoyed using the bicycles on loan. We were ab le to change to a slightly better, but more expensive room.
Convenience from Motorway Did not have childrens facilities as advertised. (Main reason I chose it)
Generally a fair enough price. Helpful staff and a nice patio to sit and have drinks/meals. A little distant from the city of Beziers. This is a good 90 minutes walk away, (we did it twice!!). The weekend we visited, Beziers had a very, very limited taxi service so location is a problem. We has a triple room which was very cramped for 3 adults to function in.
our overnight stop at the hotel was very convenient and comfortable,we had a good meal and would use the hotel again if flying to Beziers
God facilities for diner and breakfast None
Overall there was little to complain about given that the Hotel fits into the "General Commercial Budget" range, Shower was exceptionally powerful and good. Restaurant Good. Staff cheerful in the main There was confusion at reception. We had booked a twin bedded room and at first were shown a double room. I had a little difficulty getting Reception to agree that I had a confirmation showing exactly what we had booked. As the Hotel was very busy , there was a problem giving us what we had booked, but eventually all was sorted
Standard Campagnille hotel in quit hotel area.Good for overnight stay. Room price on bill was different from Bookings.com price, but revised after my comment.
Your staff kind and helpful The evening meal seemed pricey
The Campanile is adjacant to the motorway and easy to locate. The staff are very courteous and the restaurant offers good food. This is the second time we have visited and we will visit again.
We booked this hotel because of its proximity to the rail station (a very short walk). Fine for a one-night stay but very basic. Also no lift and spiral staircase makes baggage handling difficult
The firndly welcome of the staff. The buffet breakfast was good and there was a selection of snacks and drinks available. It was situated across the road from the railway station and the hotel was soundproof with air conditioning.
the convenience of being close to the station and then close to town. No fuss room but it was adequate. A lift would have been handy
Close to railway station; well-functioning air condition in the room Bathroom is tiny. I had difficulties where to put my legs while sitting on the toilet. Ok, I'm 1,93 m, but nevertheless...
Hotel Terminus is located very close to the train station which is handy. The staff were very friendly and the room was fairly comfortable/good value. The 'saloon' style bathroom door (not sure if all rooms are the same) did not afford much privacy!
Very pleasant staff who coped admirably with our very poor French. Good continetal breakfast if a little expensive by our standards. The evening meal tasty and very good value for money. Bathroom was rather cramped which did not do service to an otherwise spacious and comfortable room.
In all honesty, we found virtually nothing to like, apart from the fact that our room was really clean and the bed ok. Breakfast was good. We were really disappointed. The hotel is run down and needs investment. Its location was fair for walking to the centre and relatively easy to find. The parking was safe, but awkward. It consisted or knocked through cellar/basements. A larger car (than a Mondeo) would have been almost impossible to park as we were requested. The dining room and menu were not worth considering for dinner, but the breakfast was good. Realistically this is a 'workman's hotel' and for that client group it is ok, but not for tourists, as we were. The lack of a lift made a second floor room difficult for us.
Location is good for the Rail Station. Cramped, poor decor and gloomy. I'd forgotten that hotels like this still existed in France. It was like going back 30 years!
very little needs much modernisation and larger beds.
Good sized room over looking street, located just opposite the railway station. Comfortable bed, flat screen TV, good breakfast, good shower. First impression from the outside of the hotel was not very good when we were there.
It was chic and very French. We had a pretty little balcony with views over the city rooftops. (And why should the staff speak anything but French? It added to the authenticity). We were extremely disappointed that the much advertised roof terrace was kept locked the whole time we were there (only one night- but we'd hoped for breakfast there, or at least a little look around). Very disappointingly, breakfast was served in a hot, stuffy, windowless little room on high stools and tiny tables which don't really work for small children.
Handily located between the gare routiere and the gare SNCF. Very friendly and obliging staff. A bit tatty and run down. I wouldn't recommend it for stays of more 1 or 2 nights.
Great price with clean refurbished rooms and a comfortable bed. Undercover public parking (with security) was available quite close to the hotel. There was a bit of noise in the street at night - ear plugs worked well.
Decor of hotel and helpful friendly staff. Also excellent location.
Staff extremely helpful and very pleasant, luckily we understand french. Very bohemian style hotel, and in very good condition. We were a bit worried when we arrived! Shower brill and they had a portable air conditioner which was well received as it was very hot. Our room had 2 double beds in it for us and our 2 daughters - perfect. Could of had a bit of ham and cheese for breakfast with our bread.
The hotel was in an ideal location in the city centre, the staff were incredibly helpful and the hotel was very comfortable - the city was nice for the weekend, but not as anticipated, however the hotel lived up to all expectations. Nothing.
The hotel's roof terrace, the lovely decoration and the friendly staff. The bed was rather uncomfortable.
Parking unavailable and somewhat expensive in town parking
Reasonable location close to main areas of Beziers centre. Friendly and helpful staff, but you need to be able to speak some French as no English spoken. 15 mins walk from railway station (but mainly uphill, so you need to be reasonably fit if pulling cases/bags). This is a basic hotel, with no lift, but it is cheap. If you don't want to pay much, and don't expect too much, then this hotel is fine. Breakfast lacked imagination, if not quantity. Probably worth having breakfast outside the hotel at one of the local cafes.
A nice, small relaxed hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The building itself was easy to find and within 2 minutes walking distance from the cafe's and restaurants. Parking can be difficult.
Great hotel, well located near Beziers rail & bus station. Well sized clean room, nicely decorated with comfortable bed. Friendly & very helpful owner, who also spoke perfect English. A great example of a decent, reasonably priced well run French hotel.
Good location, nice with balkong.Very nice staff.
Very pleasant owners, comfortable location of the hotel. Hotel needs some noise insulation
The location of the hotel is first class and we were made to feel very welcome. The hotel owner was so genuinely helpful and considerate that I would not hesitate to return at a future date.
Received most charming service. Stayed in a very recently decorated room which was pleasant, comfortable and happy; nothing "fancy" but created with good taste. Breakfast-in-bed definitely worth ordering. The old, narrow building has no elevator.
The friendly lady at Reception who was very helpful and welcoming. The location was quite good as it was about equidistant from the station and the historic area with its marvellous cathedral and breathtaking views from the roof. The room was fairly small with few surfaces to put anything on, but as this was reflected in the price we thought it excellent value. Had to leave too early to take breakfast so can't comment on this.
Very friendly, excellent English, very helpful, always cheerful, a joy to stay here. Were there any bad points? Other than the unavoidable street noises and a couple of thoughtless neighbours across the street.
The warm welcome and friendly proprietor Town centre location No air conditioning
