Clean and professional; nicely appointed room; breakfast was fine. Pleasant and helpful staff. Good value for the money. No
stuff was helpful,if you missed anything at home (for shaving / shower etc) you can get it at the desk.
The comfortable room, the great staff and the value. I would consider staying there any time I need to. One elevator was out of service at a very busy time
It was convenient for where we needed to be; we were able to get a reservation not that far in advance; the rate, although not an amazing bargain, was pretty competitive. Two issues we generally don't have with Marriott: First, we always request non-smoking rooms and floors, but this time there was a definite smell of smoke; if it wasn't from our specific room, it was certainly from the floor we were on. Second, my reservation clearly called for a king bed, but we were given a room with two smaller beds. Since we got there late at night, had to be up and out early in the morning, and just wanted to get to sleep as quickly as possible, we let it go, but this was not our best Courtyard experience. I am saying "yes" to "would you recommend this hotel," but "perhaps" would be a better answer, and I would recommend being very specific about the kind of room you want.
Threadbare towels and sheets. Not the norm for other Courtyard Marriotts. Surprising given it's location in an Office Park.
Staff was helpful and made great dining recommendations, complete with printed directions. The location was an easy commute to the venue we were attending in Cambridge. The room was spacious, clean, and decor was pleasant. Would have liked breakfast included.
Clean,beautiful room,great beds,friendly staff n/a
Friendly staff, recently renovated and clean rooms. Breakfast service personnel could have done better job.
Free Internet access at the room Not to my recollection
As you would expect from a Courtyard, all was up to high standards. Enjoyable stay. Lack of free breakfast.
Comfortable bed and very good breakfast with lots of choice. Swimming poo, was clean but a little small, Hard to find, well outside Billerica
They told me I did not have a reservation and it took me 30 minutes to get a room. First they told me they were sold out then they found one.
I like that it's secluded in a quiet area that you can feel totally relaxed...the rooms were spacious, well decorated and clean, the couch and bed, very comfy, the pool was not deep enough for adults but shallow enough for kids to swim in. I didn't like that the channels didn't have a guide menu to look at so I had to scroll them one by one...shampoo, conditioner and soap were provided but no toothpaste...I also didn't like going back and forth downstairs to the lobby to use the microwave. It would be nice if it was inside the room...Overall, it was a good and relaxing experience. I'd go back definetly
It was a very comfortable, relatively inexpensive place to get away for a weekend with the kids. The pool is very nice, and the breakfast buffet is excellent. It is better situated for locations north of Boston than for city visitors, but quite close to the Burlington Mall stores, restaurants, and movies. Certainly quiet and a good value!
When I saw this gorgeous room I called the desk thinking I got a room that cost more than I paid! I had high hopes for a great breakfast, but the food was typical manufactured steam tray food.
Room was clean and well maintained. Some breakfast items were above expectations while others were below expectations (is it possible to water down scrambled eggs...seemed like it). Too few staff speak or understand english. Advertised items (grab and go breakfast) did not exist, and given a run -around when I asked about it (last person in the chain said "no!"). Overflowing trash can in front of the hotel is an eyesore and sanitary issue.
The breakfast was wonderful! The room was very cozy and the bed was comfortable. Good lighting in the bathroom and good water pressure. The old blower/heater unit on the floor, against the wall. Feels very 1970s!
My sister and I enjoyed the suite! Plenty of room and the kitchen added an extra plus.
Danielle and Heather at the front desk were very helpful and friendly. Overall the staff seemed very nice. I would go back.
The hotel offers large suites with friendly and green surroundings. As European, I don't like the fact that all breakfeast dishes are plastic and to be trashed (knowing that this is still common in the US...)
The staff was very friendly. The room was big and well kept.
The property is in need of some TLC or attention. I have stayed with Sonesta before but would not stay again if this was first experience with them. Bathroom had hair on the edge of tub and in the corner of bathroom - not reassuring that room was clean. The door to the bathroom didn't close all the way because the door frame was warped. Some very strong fragrance - perhaps room deodorized was so overbearing you could taste it. Dirty knives in the silverware drawer. Front desk didn't ask how the stay was or I might have shared this with them. Very disappointing stay
The staff was amazingly friendly--from the front desk to the breakfast crew to the room maintenance staff. Also, the location gave great access to major highways as well as Middlesex Turnpike (to get to the Alewife T station). It would be nice if they could refinish the metal in the elevator cabs. The rest of the interior decorations were fun and creative, but then you get into elevators that look abused and it took away from the overall effect.
The cleanliness of the room was amazing. The decor was great. The staff was very friendly. There was nothing I didn't like.
Everything was awesome
Comfortable and quiet
Everyone I encountered was helpful. After only 2 days staff were saying hello. Having a Starbucks set up in the morning was particularly nice. Dining in the restaurant was fantastic. Food very good. The facility is over priced for the suburbs. The rooms Do not justify the price.
Very nice lobby / restaurant area. Extremely comfortable beds. Inconvenient facilities and amenities in the room. Room had "budget"-grade fixtures and amenities (bathroom / furniture in room). Not pleased with that after paying for a premium hotel.
I loved the pool, hot tub, and sauna. It was so nice and relaxing. I particularly liked that it all stayed open until 11pm, because at so many hotels the hours are hard to use. 6am-11pm gave us plenty of time to take full advantage of the relaxing. The beds were very comfy. The services was nice. We had room service breakfast and the man who brought it was very nice and polite. The front desk helped us a lot by allowing us an extending check out due to a wedding we had to prep for. The fire place and wall of water in the lobby were beautiful. It is a great location. Peacefully situated but also close to a huge mall so you can get all sorts of food and anything you needed. The restaurant and room service in the hotel were very expensive. Luckily there is a mall down the street with much more affordable options. We went the the rain forest cafe and had fun. Other than that I really loved everything. It was a great day and just what we needed.
Room is comfortable.. Good bed. Too noisy during the day due to current renovation. Had to change room, but still noisy.
Liked the room. Breakfast was very nice. Staff very friendly & accomodating. Convenient to hospital and loved the shuttle. Asked for a robe & extra blankets as my husband had surgery the day before & was cold. Staff brought them, but they were both so raggedy & torn that I almost hated using them. Seriously they need to be brought to the local shelter for dogs. Time to replace or don't offer them.
Location is nice. Right off the highway and close to upscale mall. Need more selections in the longe. Didn't seem to care about upgrading elites.
The rooms and facilities were great. The staff was professional and helpful. I've had better breakfasts at economy hotels. The food quality was very disappointing and not up to the standards I expected (given the cost and quality of the facility).
The hotel was quiet, room is big enough and breakfast is actually very good. None, it was the perfect stay!
The shuttle drivers were extraordinarily friendly! Alfred mentioned that we were near Lexington and took me to all of the sights. He and the other drivers definitely helped to make my weekend stay awesome! The room itself was wonderful and very comforting to come home to each night! 5/5 would recommend.
This hotel is so well maintained and spotlessly clean. Even though it's not a 5 star hotel it's large enough that it's well staffed all the time. Even when we had our "do not disturb" sign out in the morning our room was quickly cleaned when we were out in the afternoon. We were in town to visit our son and hotel staff were very helpful in accommodating our 2 young (age 3 & 6) granddaughters when they came to stay with us a couple of nights. Also the hotel was full of HS Soccer teams in town for a tourney and the hotel strictly enforced "quiet hours". I was very pleased with that! Also loved that the coffee maker is a Keurig. They don't furnish many pods and they were not my favorite brand, but there's a grocery very close to the hotel so we bought a box of our favorite brand and also a small carton of half and half and kept it in the fridge. We really liked having a fridge and a microwave in the room. We have special diet needs so we actually made our own breakfast in the room. Was fun to make popcorn for the kiddos and watch a movie with them before bedtime too! The hotel is so close to shopping! Burlington Mall is very nice. The indoor pool is large which is good but the maintenance staff does not understand that it's an INDOOR pool! When maintaining an outdoor pool the wind and sun deplete chemicals, therefore a lesser quantity of chemicals are needed indoors. Some people may believe that more chemicals = safer sanitation, but that's not true. I've been responsible for maintaining a pool and too much is just too much. Even with an outdoor pool if there is too much chlorine in the water you use large fans to lower the concentration (yes- wind, even from fans, removes chemicals from the water). The water was cloudy (it should be clear if chemicals are used appropriately) and also foamy which means too much fungi control chemical was used, which is very unfealthy. I bought goggles to protect my granddaughter's eyes, but they still had an itchy rash from the water, probably from the fungicide which not really needed very often indoors since direct sun is what causes fungi in a pool. An over chlorinated pool is not dangerous to your health, just unpleasant, but when the water is foamy and cloudy, that's very bad. I really wanted to prop all the doors open and set up some fans!
good quality hotel with excellent services
just a very nice place- everything was wonderful just finding it in the dark, sign by the road would help
a very short visit, great room!
The staff was very nice,we felt very velcome and it was nice to have the scuttle driving os to the mall .
The hotel was very good value, convenient to access, the staff was fiorst class and we enjoyed our stay. not applicable
Our room at this property had a serious ventilation problem which they acknowledged but made no effort to mitigate. The heavy odor of cooking bacon woke us each morning at 5am and did not immediately dissipate rather lingered in the room and hallways. The odor was strong and very offensive.
I like the atmosphere and everyone was very nice and it was quite too. I didn't like how small the bathroom was..I felt closed in, also didn't like that my room was next to an elevator.
The stay was great the service was outstanding i will definetly go back
Clean, well decorated, attractive, and comfortable room. Old tv without hd. Most hotels these days have flat screen hd. But this is not critical. Appreciated the wifi in the room at no charge None really
Friendly staff premises very clean.Especially liked the welcome cookie..Breakfast room staff gave the start of your day a good buzz. Overall very pleasant!! The walk to get to the room, but then it is a big hotel.
1) The business centre. It was very useful for me. 2) Breakfast was decent, but I think the team could be more friendly to a foriegner, by asking if they need anything....it would go a long way 3) I was surprised, that there were no bell boys. This really amazed me, when the front desk girl walked up with me...it was a lovely gesture...and I respect that a lot. 1) Wished there was more to do and see on the property 2) I was expecting a Suite, I did not get an answer when I had booked it and I did not know what it costs, as I wanted to stay in a Suite. 3) I would like more channels on the TV. 4) My booking done through www.booking.com had been in principle ignored. ie, I was first offered 2 separate beds and smoking option, I had to finally settle for smoking option as I wanted a king bed as per what I had booked!!
Comfortable and clean Needs a snack bar in addition to main restaurant . Something for quick bagel, muffin, donut in morning
They charged unwanted things for me . And no compline try break breakfast
Really good service. I will stay again.
Clean Accomadations came as a couple was given room with two twin beds said third party booking so they couldnt fo anything ?? there was no more king rooms Or queen beds im guessing
I had an extremely pleasant stay, and would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for an affordable option right outside of Boston that has exceptional customer service. I stayed here on a visit from FL to see my family, and wanted to enjoy the serene environment of Lexington as an escape from the city. Everything was flawless with our stay.
It was very different from the standard hotel looks, in that they are very colorful and the organization of the space and room is very unique. Definitely nice to see a hotel that is not the standard fare, especially outside of a major city. The king sized bed was pillow top and felt amazing. They had so many pillows on the bed that we had to move some off to a lounge chair. They gave out (free) bags of ice downstairs in the snack bar area instead of having an ice dispenser on each floor, which was another oddity, but we were ok with that. No complimentary breakfast, but there was an area where they served food if you wanted to order it for 24hrs. They have shampoo and body soap dispensers that are attached to the wall under the shower head. First time we saw that, and not sure if we liked it or not because it can be opened by guests and refilled, but it was better if you use a lot of shampoo and conditioner. They use Bliss products which was nice. Room was very well lit, with two separate overhead reading lights at the bed. Indoor pool was nice since it closed at 11pm. The water was a good temp but theres lots of chlorine in that water though. Overall a clean and neat experience at this hotel. I'd recommend it. Water pressure in the shower could be better. It didn't feel strong enough to wash away all the soap. Hard to get out of the parking lot of the hotel into the main road, as the stop light took about 8 minutes to change to green. Not sure if this may be a city street light issue, but they should probably have a better exit onto a main road. Bathroom could be a bit bigger as the fridge was underneath the bathroom sink.
The bar area, food was good, drinks we're good. The contemporary look was nice, overall great experience. The pool area was very small and extremely hot.
The building is a leed gold, which means green energy efficient building with great indoor air quality. The hotel staff was very professional and helpful. I would love to stay there again. The pool water was full of salt and chlorine.
From the time I walked through the door, I was the most important person standing in front of the agent. They made me feel like I had stayed there before. They made sure at everthing was taken care of. None
Very clean, modern and the staff was so helpful and sweet. Not a thing.
the staff were both kind and helpful
There was a bed to sleep in and I could take a hot shower. The room was falling apart. Lights didn't work correctly, there was water damage and mold and someone had burned holes in the curtains.
poor maintenance ...
This place is pretty run down, and the baseboards in my bathroom could be used for gardening. See above.
Location and price Sink water just dribbled- had no pressure
Good breakfast and liked the noon check out. Could hear EVERYTHING happening outside, tv was fuzzy to watch, cheaper places to stay in area, didn't have recycling, finding parking close to room was limited and same price online as just showing so no deal.
Location from Salem Room smelled moldy
The only good thing about this hotel is the breakfast. They provide a wonderful and delicious breakfast. Besides the breakfast everything else is awful! I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone unless you're a heavy smoker and enjoy the smell of cigarettes. We were a family with two young children who asked for a non smoking room, the room had non smoking sign but reeked of cigarette smoke! It was absolutely Awful! The smell is so strong that my nostrils burned. And our room wasn't the only one. My mother and sister were also staying here and complained about the same smell. You can't sleep comfortably at all and the front desk only assures you that it's a non smoking room. The outlets are all loose so the phone chargers would constantly fall out, the sink was clogged and filled with water while you brushed your teeth and only drained very slowly when you turned off faucet. The iron was burnt and stained my husbands shirt, never replaced. The handle in the shower is also loose so while taking a bath the knob will slowly move and start showering you in cold water. The entire feel of the room was just gross. We wouldn't even allow our toddler to crawl around. You get what you pay for that's for sure, we only lasted two nights here then checked out early to go to another hotel
balcony walks in bad shape
The staff was helpful over the phone, trying to help me find my way there when I got lost. They mapquested the directions and read them over the phone to me as I was driving. The shuttle was not working. We were hoping to utilize it to go out for dinner (not knowing our way around), but they said it was broken down. They said they'd try to get another one to help us out, but by the time we needed to leave (we had reservations), they were unable to get one for us.
easy access to highways they didn't honor the room I reserved/confirmed with credit card. I wanted a 2 bed standard room but they gave me 1 king sized bed room -not even a sleep couch available
It was cheap and near where we conducted business. The staff was very lazy and the hotel itself is falling apart.
The front desk staff were really nice. Location was good and the price was right for what we got The place could use a sprucing up. New carpets and a fresh coat of paint would do wonders. Breakfast was just ok nothing special.
The bed was terrible and maid service was only once a week, I had to take my dirty towels to the front desk and turn them in for clean ones. We were there for 3 nights and never saw a maid or anyone cleaning , the place also smelled like cigarette smoke yet it was a none smoking motel.
Nice breakfast, but heavy on the sugar and carbs. Has workout center and small pool. Billed themselves as providing free airport shuttle & there was none. Suggested I call a cab ($100 ride) instead. Did not provide cleaning service because it was a holiday weekend. Staff utterly unapologetic. did not provide evening happy hours on holidays, either. The most eye-rolling I've ever seen in a hotel staff. They were full of themselves.
loved the breakfast. was pleasantly surprised with the accomodations as some reviews said they were too stark. However, I thought they were very comfortable, lots of perks. Thought the beds, while comfortable, seemed to have valley from use. Also, did not like choice of teas.
The rooms were beautiful and the beds were incredible. The breakfast was excellent as well. I felt very pampered.
This was my second stay. I find the hotel staff very friendly and helpful.
The Holiday Inn in Tewksbury was easy to get to and the staff was very pleasant. My room was clean with a king size bed. The room had a small fridge and microwave. Pick your perk was a nice touch to choose breakfast or some other reward. I would definitely book this hotel again. The breakfast was decent, but only one person was trying to serve guests.
My son and I stayed overnight , and we were so happy with the room. The beds were so comfortable and the pillows were to die for. Check in was a breeze and the front desk staff very courteous . I would certainly recommend the hotel.
Was basically okay, but the hallways were smelly and dated. I got a great deal on the room, but if it had been anywhere close to regular price, I would have been very disappointed.
Average Holiday Inn - a little dated, but a tremendous value for the money - Pool was great for kids. Breakfast/Dinner were a good value for the money. We stayed here while visiting Canobie Lake Park. This was our second year here. Excellent value for the money.
This hotel is terrible, the service and gm were rude, horrible and dishonest. They partner with all the Canadian bus tours, have below average rooms, and treat their guests second rate. Would not stay at this hotel. I am sure Holiday Inn just likes all the Canadian tourists as they stay only once and then never return.
Very nice accomodations, close to many fast food and casual dining restaurants. Right off the highway, making it easy to travel to surrounding cities. If you don't feel like going out, they have Victoria's in the lobby, and a bar if you want a drink.
This hotel sits in a business park and we got a great price on a Saturday night stay. Quiet location with easy highway access. Staff was friendly and fluent in English. Room was well-maintained and clean. No concerns about bedbugs. Bed comfortable. Did not use pool or on-site restaurant. Cracker Barrel and Wendy's are across the street. Definitely would stay again if in the area. One complaint: There was no shampoo. What we thought was shampoo turned out to be an extra bottle of body lotion. Not a pleasant surprise when you're already in the shower.
We are on our way to Boston and because Boston is quite expensive we decided to stay somewhere in the suburbs. This is a wonderful property, clean with friendly staff and nice rooms. We used a coupon and we had no problems with getting the discount rate. You have to pay for breakfast, but they have a great choice. So, don't spend more money than you need and stay here at this hotel!
I used this hotel for years until my car was broken into and despite the fact the hotel knew my car window was smashed they did nothing to notify me of this event. when I complained they did nothing to help the situation or try to remedy it in any way. I used to have five or six rooms there five times a year and now make sure my people go anywhere else.
Stayed here for a week with my wife and kids. Staff was very friendly and helpful with information on the area and directions and attractions. Pool is a shallow (3 feet) lap pool, which isn't my taste, would rather a deeper pool. Good that they have a lifeguard on duty, but myself don't like having someone sit there and stare at you being the only ones in there. lol They have wireless internet which was great for my laptops and getting directions. They also had a public computer with a printer which we used a couple times for printing tickets to attractions. Hotel is in a business park and nice looking. Rooms were very clean and housekeeping did a great job. But the carpeting in halls were coming up in some spots and were easy to trip on. Overall would definitely stay there again
Friendly staff and nice pool Uncomfortable springy bed. The far building was where we stayed and needs upgrading. The other parts of the hotel looked newer.
Room service was quick if you called early in the morning. Bed was uncomfortable.
The hotel is a nice hotel. It's clean and the service is good and very friendly. Over all I will come back. I substract one star because the breakfast is only available after 7:30 am and I think that's too late. The choice of the breakfast is quite small, that is the thing what the hotel can improve. The bar closed to early in the evening.
The friendliness of the staff and their attitude towards sorting out problems
Breakfast was excellent. Location of the hotel was very good.
Service is always wonderful, and the staff make the visit quite enjoyable. The Inn has a unique, very appealing charm.
They upgraded our room because the original room was near the Tavern which was noisy, also much smaller than our upgrade. Also, we received $25 toward a meal at the Inn. Great deal! Initally they could not find our reservation. Apparently, someone at the hotel had crossed out our reservation and changed it to the following month. Fortunately, they had plenty of rooms available to accommodate us.
They tried to overcharge me. Luckily I had m email from you and could show them the rate.
With history and hopsitality aplenty, Concord's Colonial Inn is the the perfect place to stay when visiting historical New England. Friendly staff and great kitchen.
The thing I like best was that this hotel is on the historic register. I stayed in the "newer" section, but it was still a true piece of history. It is also a short walk from North Bridge and Sleepy Hollow Cemetary, two very significant places in America. I thought the room was too small and the furnishings, carpet, and linens were shabby. Yes, there is a difference between "period" and just in need of update.
Loved the history of the Inn and the charming dining rooms, taverns and common area.
Proximity to Middlesex school. Old tired rooms. Uncomfortable beds. Small bathrooms.
Close to the historical sites of Concord. The hotel was extremely loud. Our room was on the floor above, and not even directly above, the bar. The live music was sooooo loud that despite having earplugs, and smothering my head with pillows the music was still loud. If we hadn't needed to get up early in the morning it wouldn't have been a problem, but it made getting up at 6 impossible. Also the bed was extremely uncomfortable, which made relaxing after the music finally stopped impossible.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful; they really tried to put what matters most to me, first. Parking was challenging in some spots because the lines are not at all straight. The roadway (within the hotel grounds) needs to be repaved also.
Peace, tranquility, breakfast and social evenings. Also, the rooms and their kitchens. The staff are the kindest ever Everything was good. No complaints
The room Parking is very bad for block 2 No parking near the room. If i go at Tewskbury i won't come back at this hotel for this reason.
Location Had a couple in room below us screaming at each other at 2am. I called front desk and they put an end to the noise.
Almost Everything was almost perfect. They charged my creditcard for incidentals without telling me about it. I do not know if I will need to get involved. This is a relatively small concern but it would be nice to let me know before hand.
Loved the s sweet staff! Highly recommend!! Everything was awesome
Convenient location right off 495 centrally located for easy access to Lowell, Lawrence, Manchester, Nashua, Worcester and Boston. Not much else to like. Free internet was okay Hotel is just beginning to undergo a badly needed renovation. Rooms were old and tired. The couch in the living area was an embarrassment. The Marriott name on this establishment is an embarrassment.
The room size and amenities are excellent. No
Very nice room. Very clean and in a good, quiet location.Staff is very helpful and friendly. Wonderful buffet breakfast. The TV in the bedroom did not work.
was very comfortable
