Watiki Indoor Waterpark Resort
Black Hills Caverns
The room was comfortable, and the staff was pleasant. We had an issue with the air conditioning, and the staffer who helped out turned out to be the manager herself. After assisting us, we had a fun chat about her daughter's trip abroad to Brazil. The options for getting something to eat nearby were severely limited. There was a Pizza Hut across the way, a grocery store, and a small business strip next door, which included a coffee shop, casino, and a day care center, among other things. Also, we had hoped to have a refrigerator in the room, but this hotel did not have them, apparently. Also, the fitness room, as too many are, was only equipped with a reclining bike and a treadmill. At the least, there should be a Pre-Cor type machine, which works the whole body.
Too far from attractions, free breakfast was poor.
Comfortable beds, cleanliness, great location Shower head needs to be replaced
Ok for the price, best hotel in town was only 15 dollars more. Stay there instead. Only people at the hotel were basically the staff. Not going to be negative, but seriously what's up with the constant hounding to get into your room. Every day a letter stating we are going to come in. Relax it's going to be ok, there's only 3 other people in this whole place.
overall was good,no complaint coffee ,not strong
Rooms are small, cramped and noisy. Lots of noise from the freeway and the parking lot at all hours of the night. I did not feel safe walking around the facility and definitely would not allow my 12 and 14 yr old to walk around alone. Wifi is an extra $3/day charge and I was not informed until after I purchased 2 days that only one person can use the password at a time with our family of four.
Great location, close to everything. nothing
Quiet at night No bed linens upon Arrival, wasps on the exterior of building
location, value hard to spot, parking
The bed was comfortable It was loud, and a little run down
They did not ask to see identification or credit card. Presumably anyone could have goven my name and stayed in that room.
Price was great and noted in a well-traveled part of town. 1) wifi: would not work in room. Called front desk and they said 'probably too many people on it.' Noted in the AM that the wifi works like crazy OUTSIDE of the room. Wish I had been told that prior. 2) 'breakfast' means packaged muffins and granola bar
