Pros: Afternoon snacks, delicious breakfast, friendliness and helpfulness of hotel's staff, interior of the hotel, location. I'm not really into chain/big hotels with massive rooms and massive foods :) If you're looking for a place with a soul, then this place is the one!

Pros: Very stylish old colonial building (but they do have a modern extension), spacious, elegant, with nice tropical garden. Excellent stylish restaurant, open to the entrance aisle of the hotel. You are shown the room where Sukarno stayed with original furniture and photographs. Spacious room in old part with old, stylish, furniture, high bed. Very centrally located close to central place (Alun Alun), where you can have a nice walk after sunset. Our best hotel in Java so far, better than the much more expensive Tugu Malang.

Pros: Wonderful classic dutch building. The staff was great, and everywhere I went on the property the staff greeted me by name. The location is very good. The food was excellent (but a little bit pricy for blitar standards).

Pros: I always fell in love with every Tugu establishments. Their atmosphere, ornaments, furniture--basically everything. Psst. Even I found an old pic of my Grandpa on their wall.

Cons: The dish could've been served better, with better taste also. Almost think that the chefs didn't try their food first before servings.

Cons: To my dissapointment, the walk-up rate is lower than booking.com. The room has no window or opening, just solid wall.

Cons: Room was bad not so clean and also there’re many noisy staff , bed sheet they change it three times but was bad , tawel was bad smell , bathroom bad , water no pressure , wash basin very bad and too much flys . And the breakfast only one style no Italian no Arabic food .

Cons: Room was on a noisy side with the adjoining property full of caged and roaming dogs who barked incessantly through the night and early morning.

Cons: The location, it was within walking distance from the town centre but behind a large livestock market place

Pros: The staff are friendly and breakfast is traditional Javanese breakfast. Parking available for your car.

Cons: We were not aware that the bathroom only has cold water and local toilet.
