went to a wedding room and bathroom a bit cramped
FRiendly staff ! The car parking price - surely you could get passes for tyhe public car park for your guests! They do at Arundel House Hotel !! Also think your Chef should learn to poach eggs without cooking them in vinegar. Apparently he has to do that to stop them separationg !!
Convenient location. Room 4 was a single room with a double bed, and noisy air-conditioning unit outside the window.
Room to small, decor tired, some minor repairs needed
Convenience for Arundel. Breakfast. A little dirty. Room small.
The staff were great.Hotel was clean and comfortable. In great location fot visiting the castle.
The location was good. Bar man Michael efficient and friendly It was Easter and the restaurant service was poor. Very slow and seemed unable to cope with the number of guests. The bathroom was dirty on arrival, lots of long hair in the sink and on the floor. Again it would appear they were too busy to cope.
The friendliness and willingness to help and inform of the staff
The location is excellent being central to Arundel, and close to the castle. The rooms are cosy and comfortable. Great pub on the ground floor.
Convenient location. Efficient handling of group meal in the evening The rooms were not very warm. we had to ask for the heating to be turned on
The setting and the health club The layout of the hotel
Pleasant staff, privacy, nice pool and surroundings .
First class and friendly service
Luxuriously appointed large hotel with boutique hotel feel. Good staff who were extremely helpful and polite. Clean well decorated facilities. Very poor signage to hotel around country lanes and actualy outside of the hotel
The Photos on the website were great, I was looking for a romantic break and was lured by the picture of the large double bed and photos of idyllic grounds with superb photos of what seemed to be the perfect place...... but This is simply a large commercial venture targeted at the Golfing fraternity and the Hotel is nothing like the website which suggest a small romantic hotel.... my romantic evening was marred by two single beds, with a single table adorned by a single chair to drink a cup of tea (apparently double bed's are a lucky dip). My romantic surprise was very embarrassing as it looked like I had sorted a cheap deal (One night, £270 total cost with meal). The restaurant which suggests being part of the hotel on the website is a 5 minute drive (so no sharing a bottle of wine) all in all as the midnight hour passed I lay in my single bed bitterly regretting my choice of hotel wishing I had booked a Holiday Inn... shame on you Goodwood Hotel
Well appointed hotel that provides all the facilities needed for a short break.
Quality of the food and service Nothing
The staff were extremely friendly and the breakfasts were excellent. Lively big bed but mattress too soft.
Clean fresh and comfordable Nothing at all
The friendly and helpfull attitude of the staff, the very nice, clean state of the entire hotel. The comfort level of the furniture.
relaxed atmosphere, fantastic food, chilled weekend location. would have loved to have a spa treatment but all booked up (we only booked hotel at last minute). noticed on visit to ool that gym closurehad been delayed - would have been useful to have u[dated the website or emailed an update prior to arrival.
clean and tidy, gym not bad, plenty of breakfast available be aware gym closing for refurbishment so check if needed!
the gardens, the golf course, the value for money (as it was on special offer) and a lovely buffet breakfast
Friendly Helpful Staff /Health Pool Facilities /Golf Course/Grounds/ Quality of Restaurant Food
friendly helpful staff the spa was a disappointment - all in need of refurbishment
The staff are wonderful. Hotel shabby and swimming pool small
Breakfasts, Outside Pool Room was too hot. Bar prices very unreasonable
Good friendly all round service. It took three trips to reception before I could get into my room!
the wide range of leisure facilities
Break fast and serving staff--very good
everything.relaxed atmos smallish bar
The location was great, right on the beach, and the indoor heated pool was lovely. The staff were friendly, although all very young and some were quite unprofessional and not as attentive as we would have expected. The hotel itself was nice but we would not recommend eating there, the breakfast was below standard and the evening meal we had in the restaurant was terrible, we sent everything back almost untouched, poor quality food, didn't match the menu description, the 'continental meat platter' was a few salad leaves and bread sticks, with processed cold meat straight out of a packet, resembling spam! The 'King Prawn' starter was a joke, four tiny prawns and a bit of dressing, drowned by plain salad. Mains were poorly put together and poorly cooked, was such a shame as we'd stayed in Best Western hotels before and had great experiences, we even got married at a Best Western in Bromley and the food and service was fantastic, so we expected similar. But this was just very disappointing. The staff did take the meal off of our bill, rightly so as we'd eaten hardly any of it, but did try to explain away the poor quality of standard of the food. Also, our room was comfy although small, but we were constantly disturbed all night with strange clicking noises and sounds of water gushing through the pipes, and also our bathroom was flooded on our last day due to a leak in the kitchen! The staff did try and were friendly, but generally our stay was not the best at all. Certainly not worth £189.00 for 2 nights!
Room was old fashioned and very disappointing. Bar was very small. We were offered a quite expensive dinner menu but not informed they did bar snacks so went out for a meal.
the beach is right outside the door rooms a bit basic
Price versus quality of the diner was excellent. Breakfast was well done, Nice view right on the sea. Rooms are very quiet and well furnished. Something to know: there is no lift to the second floor and for older people the steep stairs can be a problem, but for us (young 60+) this was not a problem at all ;-)
Location and close approximity to where we were visiting. Friendly atmosphere.
staff were friendly, Place was clean and the pool was a bonus all good
rooms clean and tidy, and kept so each day. breakfast and evening meals where great bar was only open of an evening, would have liked a drink in the late afternoon
Pleasant staff, reasonable accomodation, good food, excellent location.
Good Position, nice staff. Very small and uncomfortable bed.
The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The hotel was right on Arundel high street which was great for us as we don't have a car and it was easy to access all the shops, restuarants and cafe's. The castle is a short wlak too although closed till April 20011!. For a short break it was great.
Great situation, right beside Arundel castle / main street Bathroom poorly decorated / cheap fittings. Would expect better for 90 pounds / night
Excellent location..staff were lovely and very friendly..highly recommended! We loved it!breakfast was nice and hot..brilliant!!!! Wish we could have stayed longer..THANKS So much!
Noise from basement disco No lift
very friendly and comfortable, nice area. no
I like the location of the hotel and thought the real fire in the lounges was a real treat loved them. Our room was very cold as the heating wasn't on and I think it could do with a bit of updating but other than that the room was a lovely size and also the bathroom too.
I thought it was very relaxing,I loved the decor, and sitting in front of the fire.I loved bieng in the centre of Arundel, didn`t have to walk far for anything.Loved it.
It was near the castle that we wanted to visit not enough staff,
Lovely room and pleasant staff Nothing I didnt like but the food was only average
location in the middle of town on site parking
The room was very clean and tidy and had a great decor.
Clean, well decorated with friendly and efficient staff.
The staff were wonderful and the food was absolutely fantastic.
First class breakfast Evening meal was poor quality
Facilities we used were good. Staff friendly Breakfast could have been better. Virtually no fresh fruit. Hot selection not very hot
Decent room, good value Meal, pleasant staff, good value
A very clean and comfortable room, nice to see for once that hot water and plenty of when needed, comfortable bed and a modern flat screen TV!. Free Wi Fi in the bar area . Very comfortable stay.
Friendliness of the staff, quality of the food Excessive noise of the Bedroom doors on closing
It was central to were we wanted to be
Friendly staff, lovely food! Easy to get to with good parking. Slightly noisy in the morning with kitchen staff working just below window but nothing to moan about.
The location and atmosphere of the hotel and the availability of a restaurant
how helpful the hotel staff were
Overlooking the sea whilst eating breakfast! Poor television reception/picture, however wasn't there long enough to matter too much
Warm and friendly atmosphere. Lovely room overlooking the sea No
friendly staff and clean hotel and its position was great
location room was smaller than im used to for similar priced hotels
The welcome received from Carol and seaviews. The TV did not get the best reception and only basis 4 channels
It served our needs for a weekend to see relatives Same room as last year poor view
the location and the relaxing atmosphere
Friendly atmosphere & staff Room a bit small.
The B&B manager was wonderful, made everything perfect for us and we couldnt thank him enough. What a splendid host, thank you so much No
beautiful hotel lovely room good food and really nice people
Very relaxed friendly atmosphere with a good standard of room and facilities. The b and b is ideally situated for visits to Arundel, Goodwood and Chichester.
friendly welcoming staff and lovely garden area, also the breakfast was exellant.
Relaxed friendly atmosphere. Clean and tidy with lovely garden Door to room did not lock. Shower cubicle very small
Fresh and clean and attractive No comfortable chairs
We were very impressed with the friendlyness of the staff the cleanliness of the room. The cup of coffee on our arrival, and everything really.
It was self contained,so allowed for privacy.Ensuite bathroom was spacious and well equipped. Hosts dogs allowed in dining room
Privacy; excellent facilities including extras such as refreshments in the room.Good dog walking close to hand. No
We were very well looked after by the family running the B & B
The facilities in this hotel are excellent and the staff are very welcoming and attentive. this is my second visit to this hotel and I will be returning to it in the future. nothing
Excellent location for Goodwood. Surprisingly high standard of rooms. The location is very functional (nr shopping park and ringroad) which wouldn't suit everyone.
The staff were most helpful and carried our baggage to our room. Only a limited choice of breakfast cereals and fresh fruit. For continental breakfast no cheese, meats, croisants etc.
bar meals open til 2200hrs
that there is a swimming pool. We did not have the opportunity to enjoy it but we booked your hotel because of it. Also that it is easy to park at your hotel I got bites on my cheek during the night. Knats perhaps so not relly your fault.
Nothing other than the spa was available for a back massage, which was sorely needed after a night on the rock hard beds. I would recommend any guest to book a massage on arrival as they will need it after one nights stay The beds, the restaurant, apathetic staff.
Only one night experience, for this I found it comfortable and very convient for the facilities of chichester. No complaints. Limited experience.Did the original price quoted mention tax extra, if not it should included.
Nothing to write home about. Dated. Budget Hotel. Staff pleasant though
Clean hotel Noise from some water system in room 107 meant that we had to change rooms on both nights in order to get some sleep. Night porter - Mick, gave us the key to room 123 which was quite.
Excellent stay, can't fault this hotel and is real value for money
i have stayed at this hotel before and was close to all amenities.
There was a lovely view of the countryside from the bedroom window and it was really peaceful. The bar and dining area were modern and there was a varied choice of good food on offer during breakfast.
There was a restaurant with a reasonable evening menu and a bar. Breakfast very good. Not enough TV chanels.
Exellent breakfast,comfortable beds.
good breakfast first room offered was stuffy and damp, we requested a non -smoking room when booking, were given a new room that was a non smoking room , not sure why we were not offered this when checking in.
Comfortable and surprisingly quite considering the location. Friendly staff. Excellent dining room with breakfast well organised.
The room was extremely comfortable and quiet. The staff were very polite and helpful. The bathroom was a little shabby and the towels were very thin.
Tea/coffee making facilities clean towels Duvet cover not very good ie old/dirty, when having a shower the bathroom floor was a pool of water and dangerous had to mop up with towel, no sky tv + only 4 chanels.
Friendly staff That mattress
clean comfortable and excellent breakfast the location and lack of disabled parking spaces
It was convienent and the room was large and spacious. There was a damp smell in the room. possibly from the bathroom which meant we opened the window. However, this meant that there was a considerable amount of noise from the people who were drinking in the garden area or waiting outside to be picked up by taxis etc.
Location, comfort, good price Hard to find even with GPS, more signs on the road will be better
The approach of the lady in reception, Karen I believe her name was, excellent customer skills, very pleasant and good personality. Only one complaint, Premier Inn advertise rooms FROM £29.00, when although I booked six weeks plus prior to our arrival, I was still quoted both on-line and direct with the hotel £70.00 for the one night. How early do I need to make a booking to take advantage of the £29.00 rate?
Quick and easy to find . Close to the town itself . Older style property but with the expected standard of premier inns . No lift access .
hotgel nice and clean Really feel there should be a lift in hotel
The pub next door was good the staff were lovely. Bed uncomfortable noisy.
kind staff lovely place to stay lots of room for all 4 of us great breakfast and a lovely pub / restaurant many thanks to all 10/10
All the staff except one (breakfast on second morning) were very good. The large bathroom, with hook behind the door and a window. Ability to open windows to regulate fresh air. Good range of tourist information leaflets. The yale locks meant that it was impossible to close the bedroom doors quietly and early morning risers woke us. The fast-moving traffic meant it was difficult to turn right out of the hotel - we turned left and turned in a side road further on.
Premier excellent as usual Booking completely wrong, I rang active and was given a load of incorrect information. I rang Premier who rectified.
Spacious room Heater thermostat broken so cold at night; didn't call for help though as drifting in and out of sleep and off very early next morning.
Nice clean rooms, lovely breakfast, helpfull friendly staff,we enjoyed the live music on friday evening. We would have liked to have an evening meal but were unable to have one after 7.00pm.
Rooms large and clean Noisey at around 10.30pm but our room was well away from the music
the staff were all very friendly and attended to our every need but not in an intrusive way
Near of the sea and church, extras in the room, comfort, personal very kind.
The very friendly staff were always around to help and look after us. My 88 year old mother thoroughly enjoyed her stay and we could not fault the facilities provided in the rooms, lots of little extras were included. The duvets were extremely warm and much too hot.
Fresh Milk in rooms, suberb Food
We went away to get away and found all the luxuries of a 5* hotel and booking in for another night was not a problem.
The front garden is a great place to sit and relax with a glass of wine. My room was next to a noisy aircon which meant I couldn't have the window open at night.
The aspect of the hotel, the comfort, the friendliness of the staff. The food was excellent There were two weddings there during our two days and it was difficult for elderly residents to know where to sit comfortably at this time. Perhaps residents could be informed that this was happening beforehand, and perhaps an area could be set aside for them? My friend`s 87yr.old mother found herself a spectator in the corner feeling somewhat awkward.
The Millstream has a predictable but consistently high standard. Well done to whoever is in charge of staff training! n/a
very welcoming , well run , good location , good restaurant , staff of a high standard. justly popular with weddings ,means parking can be difficult when they re taking place
The "old fashioned" atmosphere, with pleasant courteous staff. No
The facilities are excellent
Good breakfast, friendly and helpfull people. I did not know it was a B&B so was dissapointed I could not get an evening meal without driving or as it happened getting a takeaway delivered.
I loved the bed! It was pure luxury
it was convenient to Chichester The breakfast service was poor, no poached eggs or baked beans at breakfast. No showergel and handwash almost empty, but was refilled after we mentioned it. .
Good room, spacious, comfortable, warm, and excellent en-suite, nice and clean. Breakfast was grilled so didn't feel as heavy afterwards. The garden is amazing. he owners, Kevin and Lorraine were friendly and helpful.
