Staff not helpful at all…
Pros. Bed was comfortable
Cons. Was unable to find staff member for checkin upon entering so more prompt service would have been nice.
Pros. The concept was nice. The lobby was very inviting and check-in was efficient and friendly and were able to accommodate my late arrival. As hotels go, it was descent, I think, which seems to be a hard thing to find these days.
Cons. I was sold an odd room that looked nice on the website but was not as nice in person. [It didn't seem particularly clean, but perhaps I imagine any "itch" to be the worst case scenario of the dreaded bed insect. Also it was a first floor room and the walk-in shower was not what I thought a walk-in shower was (perhaps a personal problem).] I guess the main complaint is that I was woken up at 6:00 when the lobby (gallery)turned on its music for the morning. I had a first floor room and I think the music bled into the room, although I am not sure if it was that. Also, the scanner in the business center didn't seem to work (i.e. I couldn't get it to save to a file--again, perhaps user error). Also, perhaps this is ESP-ish, but it seemed like a bad place to work: it seemed like morale was very low. Not sure, but the atmosphere in the "gallery" seemed oppressive.
Pros. Room was clean and beds were comfortable.
Cons. we arrived at 5;30 PM and were told we could not be put in a room because the computer crashed so we had to wait until 7:00 PM to get in our room. We were traveling with our dog and we ended up on the 4th floor which was somewhat inconvenient to take him through the lobby and up an elevator. We did notify that we were traveling with a pet when we booked.
Pros. Very nice and very clean! Great location and easy to find. Would definitely recommend and stay again!!
Pros. We arrived during the March Madness basketball tournament and I was hoping to catch the second half of a game. The first room had a TV connection issue. When I called, I assumed they would send up someone to connect wires or hit some buttons to set up the TV properly. Instead, they put us in a new room within 5 minutes of my phone call. I saw the entire second half of the game. Thank you.
Pros. I love the modern look of the rooms. Very spacious, big pull out couch and living room area, big flat screen TV, refrigerator. Delicious complimentary breakfast. Great deal for just under $100.
Cons. The staff seemed a little incompetent. We ordered room service and then they called us almost an hour later and said we have to come down to the lobby to carry up our own food. When I got down there they had four plates and three drinks sitting on their front desk counter. I asked if they at least had a tray I could use but they said the one tray they had was stolen. So I had to take a couple trips to carry up all my food. And the room service food was terrible and basically inedible so it was a waste of money. But their breakfast food was great. The bathrooms in our room did not have a sanitary strip around the toilet but there were some in the droor so it was clear they are supposed to use them. I called the desk to ask for a couple more pillows and a blanket because we wanted to use the pull out bed from the couch for our kids and there was not bedding for that bad in the room. The woman at the front desk seemed very put out and said they only have a small number of extra pillows in the whole hotel, but they eventually brought them to us. So if I would have just stayed in the hotel without ordering room service or needing any help from the staff I would have given a great review because I did love the room for a great price. They just need a little help with customer service.
Cons. Reservation wasn't held. Kicked me out.
Pros. The room was spacious and comfortable. It was clean.
Cons. There wasn't a microwave in the room. We had to leave at 6:30 before the breakfast, so we didn't get to take advantage of that.
