The feel, the professionalism of the staff, the beauty of the hotel. I enjoyed the artwork. I'd really prefer not to pay for parking, but it wasn't a horribly high rate either.
Clean comfortable and they had bath robes. Pleasant staff. Had to pay for parking but only a couple of bucks.
Rooms nicely furnished. Nice view. Quiet Personal in restaurant could have been a bit more attentive. Waited a long time for second cup of coffee. Busy talking with each other. Not many people in restaurant so they had time to check on us.
Thought we were getting a King but was two double beds. And the doubles were the same price as King. You would think for the price you pay it would at least have been two Queens. If we had not prepaid we would have gone to Best Western down the road. At least you would get King or Queen there. The faucet handle was sticky so must not have been cleaned properly and light bulb in lamp was burned out.
The unique glass art on each floor. We were on the 7th :). The elevators.

Cleanliness of hotel, and the room service food was good, until it upset my stomach, then I did not like it so munch. Cheap amenities. I have stayed at lesser hotels that had better beds, pillows, coffee makers, bathrooms and TVs. This hotel is far too overpriced. I think I paid for all the art work instead of a quality room. I don't mind paying $300 for a room, but it should include good quality bedding at the least. I will not stay at this hotel in the future.
The rooms were nice and clean, with nice views of Mt. Rainier. The water didn't work either morning, so I was unable to shower.. only a small discount was given for this huge inconvenience. The oysters were served warm, so I had to send them back for fear of food poisoning. The elevators were broken and/or insufficient for a hotel with so many rooms. No one offered to help me with my bags. The refrigerator didn't work. I was surprisingly disappointed!
Nothing The man at the front desk was unfriendly and not helpful at all. I get there and hotel is overbooked but font desk dude, who is really tall and has dark hair but do not remember his name, was awful. He blamed the issue on the third party website and the other group went out of their way to help but when I tried to talk to this guy he would take no responsibility or even say he is sorry for the situation. Then when I was asking if there was a way he could double check or have any idea of what I should do he walks away when I am still speaking with him. A hotel that does not have customer service is not a place anyone should want to be.
Rooms were clean. The room description said there was a fireplace...there isn't. They charge an additional $70.00 for "incidentals" and claim it will be returned at checkout. It is returned at midnight following checkout.
We booked a hot tub suite, the room was very spacious. The beds were very comfortable. The room was clean. They had a sign saying the were going to be updating the hotel soon. The hot tub was fabulous. We arrived3d in town early so called to see if we could check in early. It was about 1pm, they said they didnt have a room ready but would call when it was. We never recieved a call so just waited in the parking lot. Finally we went in at 2:45 and still no room ready. They gave us coffee while we waited and room was ready at 3:15. The hallways and rooms are dated, paint splatter on all the tiles. The tvs in the room were low quality and tiny. The cable flickers. The bathroom had no door.

They should not use any perfume or scent in cleaning the rooms. It was so strong, I had to get a different room which wasn't quite so bad.
Staff was really nice and friendly. Woke up a tad bit late called the front desk and they let us check out early. The only thing that bothered us was the heater was not working at all.
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. My first room was right next to the freeway. I asked to switch and they didn't even flinch and switched me to another room quickly and courteously. Hotel needs some work. Pretty dated and could desperately use a refresh. Air Conditioning might have some sort of temperature limiter on it. Could never get the room cool enough to be comfortable. It would randomly shut off and I could never get it to kick on again no matter how I adjusted the temperature control so I turned it as low as it would go and every hour or so, it would kick on again for a brief period. Felt stuffy the whole time.
Staff was friendly. I liked how you could not hear the other guest. I did not see Any bugs there were massive stains on the carpet the toilet looked as though someone tried to carve through the seat with a knife or key. The floors leaked water from the floors above in the bathroom. Breakfast ran out with no refill for guest ... Not worth the money and not as advertised

Nothing Hotel was very dirty and in desperate need of repair. Ceiling drywall was falling down due to a roof leak, paint was chipping off ceiling in bathroom, carpet and chair in room were stained. Nasty- I will not book another red lion room
This is a great location -- on the water, within walking distance of restaurants (choose Duke's). Rooms are nice, very clean, have huge TVs, comfy beds, and offer views. I've always been treated well here and only stay elsewhere if they don't have room or if the price is too high. A decent free Breakfast is also served in a great little dining area.
The atmosphere was the best. Cool breeze off Pugent Sound, Jacuzzi tub facing the bay, fireplace to take the chill off when you get out of tub, high quality bedding, spectacular view. Enough said. Hot breakfast was above average, staff helpful and friendly. If you are the Tacoma area do not miss this hotel. It is well worth it. Only wish we could have stayed a second night.
The setting was beautiful with view of the water from the room. The room was comfortable. The breakfast had quality food with a good variety of options. The parking was excellent.
Don't stay on the south end of the building. Parking lot and train tracks are super loud. You'll get no sleep. The north end of the building is over the water and much quieter.
Cheap, clean, and super friendly staff. It's a little far from Seattle, but I'm assuming that's why it was so cheap. Traffic wasn't bad at all, and there were no issues.
The facility itself was just average but the staff....primarily the front desk staff made all the difference. The service there was world class.

Friendly desk staff. Good room. Only a thin blanket on the bed and I don't think any extras were in the closet, which is not ideal if you like to sleep in a colder room with heavier blankets.

i requested the double queen beds and unfortunately one of the beds were caving and it was very uncomfortable. i was pretty upset with myself first and foremost because i forgot to call the front desk about it. but i feel like the hotel staff should've been aware of this in the first place before checking guests in that room. the room i stayed in was in room 538. anyway, hopefully they'll have that bed replaced!
The room was very clean, staff was very friendly, and helpful. The breakfast was great, filling and the ladies working it were wonderful. The tub was very slow draining. When running the water to prepare for shower tub was filling so you're standing in dirty water and can't truly rinse your ankles and feet. The toilet was also slow in draining after flushing it. Facility was clean and the staff was friendly. AC system was not functioning well and the public areas and hallways were hot and stuffy. The elevators are exposed and the afternoon sun would heat them up like a sauna. Rooms were also a bit on the small size-- especially when travelling with a family.
Good Location, quiet, comfortable bed and room, pretty good meal. The room I had was pretty run down - large cigarette burn on rug and ripped shower curtain made it look pretty tacky.

The bartender had a very very poor attitude. threw menus and napkins down. seemed very annoyed that we wanted to order food.

The room was really nice stayed in a king suite. Bed were super comfy, close to a mall and many food places. Breakfast complimentary was delicious! Our experience was a good one we would definitely look into staying here again. Our room was super clean, the girls working up front were very friendly. First room we were put in the toilet was malfunctioning, which they had it fix while we were touring out in Seattle. After one flush it was clog again. They end up moving us to another room. Overall our stay was a good one.
I had basic expectations that were greatly exceeded. Room and pool was clean, staff was nice, and there was lots of things close by.
We had the option to stay on the 4th floor for no additional price. We had tall Vaulted ceiling's which made it feel much more roomier and comfortable. The location was awesome for both Seattle and Tacoma. Nice and clean too. For the price and location I don't think you can really have any complaints. It was as advertised which is rare with hotels. At first getting to the hotel was a little confusing.
We stayed on the first floor so I enjoyed the high ceilings and spacious room. We didn't get to have the breakfast but it looked really good. The room was very clean, and the beds were very comfortable. We stayed on the first floor at the end of the hall. We could hear anyone come in or out of their rooms. It made our room seem very noisy.
Friendly staff. Clean room. Comfortable bed. Free breakfast. Plenty of parking. Near shopping. Reasonable rates. You can hear your neighbors. Rooms not sound proofed. I was awoken in the morning with loud conversation. The next night it was a dig barking. Other than that it was a pleasant stay.
The staff were very good at their jobs. They were attentive without being annoying, they demonstrated great customer service and were friendly and personable. Check-in and out was painless and the bed was fantastic. The apple juice.

The free breakfast was decent, the hotel seemed clean and for the most part accommodating...For the price in the area it was inexpensive but still nice enough. It seemed outdated, paint and tile were chipped in the bathroom. The staff ignored me when I can to check in and instead took a phone call of someone else asking really stupid questions. In their defense there was only one person and the desk and she did say it was her first time at that particular property.
NOTHING! THEY WERE NICE ABOUT TRYING TO GIVE US ANOTHER ROOM BUT THEY WERE JUST AS BAD AS THE ONE WE HAD. I WILL NEVER GO BACK NOR EVER RECOMMEND IT. WE GOT A 10$ DISCOUNT FOR OUR ROOM AND WE PAID WAY TO MUCH. THEY DON'T EVEN HAVE SCREENS ON THE WINDOWS.

Jazmine, at the front desk was so helpful. I had booked a different hotel and it was unsafe and dirty. Jazmine greeted me with a smile and hello and made me feel welcome. I was very frustrated but she was able to claim me and gave me my room. She even booked my next stay in Tacoma. A high five to Jazmine for her incredible customer service No comment
Clean comfortable bed
It was close to the dome. That's it. The front desk staff looked like they were straight out of prison. They were rude and not accommodating. We asked for an extra pillow and they made us wait until 11pm to get one. The soap was open in our room. Not a huge deal. Overall I'd say this hotel needs major upgrades. It should have been a $75 stay at the most. Not over $100. It served our purpose. But would not stay here again.
You can tell someone tried to make it nice at one point. Wifi wasn't bad First off I want to point out this is my first review of a hotel ever and I stay in one every week for work. First thing as you get outside of the hotel the air smells terrible. Did every day for our entire stay, which ruins the pool also. Even though it had been updated, it was incredibly dirty. They must not own a single vacuum cleaner because the entire hotel floor was covered dirt,debris,etc. From a distance it looks nice but as soon as you get close its nasty. Once we checked in our bed had a lot of long black hair in it. Obviously not cleaned. He switched our room and of course the hall on the new floor was also disgusting, so at this point I had no confidence in cleanliness of anything which takes all comfort away. We tried going down to the bar and the beer was flat and warm. I couldn't bring myself to try the food after everything else I saw that week. Homeless people hang out in front and in the parking lot. Terrible part of Tacoma, definitely not a safe place to be out.
Rooms were spacious and well appointed. Very quiet even next to the freeway. Staff was very helpful, especially in the restaurant. Hotel is a bit dated, shows some wear, ventilation system was noisy.

Nice king bed and welcoming staff. Pool was open 24/7. Full breakfast was nice but the oatmeal on Sunday was so watery it could not be eaten. Please teach weekend staff how to prepare oatmeal.
Size of the room, bedding, decor,helpfulness of staff.pillows too small, Pillows too small for comfort, no more real coffee cups in room, no coffee pot. Just a 1 cup maker, no more cucumber water in lobby. Soap dish at vanity still had soap slime from last resident with new, wrapped bar soap placed on top of this! Shame on the housekeeper. Makes a person wonder what other hidden, unkempt items were lurking about. Front desk person couldn't make it to our room, nor could housekeeper, (she left my floor after my call to the desk,) so I marched the faultily unclean dish to the front and the kindly clerk washed it. With a smile and an apology, I might add.
Access to the hotel was very easy. The front counter staff was very nice and the rooms were clean. The morning breakfast was a joke. Not stocked at all, even with a staff worker there. No butter for toast, no milk for cereal, no spoons, and the eggs sat empty for 20 minutes with a room full of people.
The bed was comfortable, the room was quiet. The neighborhood is not the greatest.

My room requirements specified in advance, twice, were not met. The room assigned to me had broken AC. I had to change rooms. Travelers are ifte TIRED by the time we arrive. Toi mych hassle.
For the price I was pleasantly surprised with the convenient location, up to date rooms and decor, responsiveness of staff and the ultra clean appearance. Can be tough to exit the parking lot to the west.
All were friendly and helpfull. Good free breakfast. Had snacks and papers out during the day. The fireside bistro was nice. Firepits, pool gym. Coffee always available. Luxury rooms and great bed. Anything you needed. Loved it. Nothing. If I really had to come up with something the internet. It was fast enough but it would say offline but if you just waited about 3 minutes it would be running again. I still managed to stream a movie with just a few times it froze and then started running again.
Nothing During checking in and checking out staff was rude and impersonal. I felt like I was inconveniencing the front desk staff by simply checking in/out. I had no special instructions or request either. Two diffrent front desk staff, same experience. Beds were uncomfortable, loud tv's in both the rooms next to mine. Over all terrible experience.
I was 45 minutes away when I received a call that my room was not available. Had driven 4 hours at this point. Then they had nothing in the area comparable.
Nice complimentary breakfast. A/C chilled the room great. Room was near the gym, could hear people running on tredmill - very annoying.
Decent room service available. Facility close to freeway access. Later standard check out time than most. My pre authorized via credit card reservation had not made it into their computer at time of arrival. This resulted in a non smoking room not being available, even though my reservation clearly showed one. They offered a small discount. As no other rooms were available, and not knowing the area well to check other facilities, I agreed to see the smoking room offered. The room was at the far end of the hotel. The decor and upkeep of the facility apeared to degrade the further you got from the lobby. The room itself wreaked of smoke even before the door was open. The room clearly had cigarette stains on the walls and smelled like 20 chain smokers spent a week in the room just prior to my arrival. I called the counter and reported that this was not acceptable. They offered no other option. I requested a manager, I was only offered a shift supervisor, who offered to have the room sprayed with a disinfectant string smelling spray. This was done, leaving the room to smell of smoke and lysol. The staff made it clear that because I didn't book directly through Ramada and used an online method, that was the reason I was given a less desirable room. After 30 minutes of significant discussion, the shift supervisor was able to find a non smoking room with a double bed as opposed to a king. The smell of smoke permeated my clothing and my hanged suit fun the 40 minutes I spent in this room. The new room was acceptable, but loud freeway construction is audible from much of the hotel during the night. I believed Ramada to be a nice place to stay, and stayed here primarily because of name as other places were near. However, this experience may change that perspective for me. It's clear that discounted online rooms will result in them giving you whatever terrible room they can try to pawn off on you, and not necessarily the room you reserved.
plenty of parking paid for ramada but got motel 6 instead. you are better off picking else where.
Nothing I booked a Holiday Inn Express, but was surprised to find Ramada. Funny no one seem to think that might be important to tell the customer with a PREPAID reservation.
Clean Quite far from the airport. With plenty of options right by the airport I would have gone with another hotel. We didn't know that the airport shuttle was only provided after 6am so we had to pay 30 dollars for a cab. Also they will not just take you to the airport if you don't have a flight. We tried to take the shuttle to thw airport to take the light rail downtown.
Room smelled of strong asthma and headache triggering carpet cleaner like the kind that covers up smoke. Sheets were bleached and starched but pillow cover seemed stained. The kind of room you would not want to ever put a black light onto. Definitely not 3 stars as was listed.

Good deal. Cheap. Staff was friendly, nice, and attentive. Decent breakfast in the morning. Shuttle was on time and easy. Heater was broken and they never fixed it even after calling front desk (it was winter time and freezing- I ended up wearing two shirts and a jacket to stay warm in my room). Some mold in the bathroom. The 3rd party Kayak used wasn't recognized by this hotel (it was the first time they had seen "get a room") so it took about 45 min for me to check in.
The pool was a nice area to relax with the kids. Breakfast was a nice and saved us an expense. We would stay again, but we normally Payless. We are a big family and cut expenses where we can. The price was a little more then
The hotel was very friendly and helpful. Although they are located far from the SEA-TAC airport, they have a shuttle. The driver was very apologetic for taking so long to reach me (45 minutes), but for the distance he drove, it was understandable. I chose this hotel for it's proximity to Budget Truck Rental, for a truck pickup the next morning. It was handy, comfortable and a good value. There wasn't much to dislike. It was sufficient for my needs, and comfortable.
Rate was good but location is terrible unless you are visiting the new Amazon Fulfillment Center across the street. Stay in town and just pay the extra rates. Good shuttle service to the airport or light rail. Room was not really clean. Spider webs and dusty. Flys Inn the breakfast area.
Full kitchen Filthy. No shuttle or breakfast availability before 8 on weekends. Smoky, nasty rooms in a very dangerous area. Noisy due to thin, cheap construction. Pool was swampy, gross- unusable.
Room was huge, clean and immaculate. Best airport bargain for sure It took a while to get a hold of front desk from the airport to get the shuttle bus.
The room was very spacious, and had enough space for 4 adults. There was a sofa bed which was an unexpected surprise. The bathroom was large and the.kitchenette was an added plus, as was the hot breakfast. The cabinets and fixtures were old and in need of repair. Everything seemed dated, but still usable. There was not much available in the way of kitchenware, utensils and flatware.
Given other circumstances, we thought the room was clean and pretty spacious. The fold-out couch was fine. We just needed the room for one night after flying in from the east coast and heading out to the Olympic peninsula with family. We didn't find the location convenient, and though the staff tried to help there were a lot of unnecessary problems. We had a few problems: (1) They wouldn't let us call the shuttle ahead of time or when we landed, demanding that we tell them at exactly which area we would be standing. By the time we picked up our luggage they told us it would be about 30+ minutes before they could get us due to other demands. After a long trip from the east coast with a 1.5 y/o, that didn't work for us, so we ended up paying for a taxi to the hotel. So we found that very inconvenient for a hotel that bills itself as an "airport" hotel. (2) As one example, we wanted an extra blanket but there were none in the room other than the one on the bed. So I called up and they said both "let me see if we have any" (!) and then "I found one but I'm not allowed to leave the desk, so can you come up to get it". For a $50/night hotel sure, for almost $200, that's just bad service. (3) This may be my idiocy, but when I think suite I think of a hotel with at least one small, extra room. So we were stuck having to be quiet in the room while our son slept.
Avery is outstanding in his willingness to help and is the kind of employee you want to have on your staff. The breakfast selection was very good. Most of the staff was very friendly. The attitude of the very short staff member at the front desk leaves something to be desired. When problems arose eg., no heat in the room, maid service didn't bring towels, coffee, it was handled as if we were at fault. There was no apology and response to make us feel that this would get taken care of in a timely fashion. P.S. We were told to wait in the room for the heat to come up. Then Avery arrived and lo and behold he discovered the circuit breaker was off and the furnace had 5 wires disconnected. He took it upon himself to find us another room. We greatly appreciated that!
price I arrived very late, so when I got to my room and found it was a smoking room I didn't complain. Beyond the smell, two lamps didn't work, and the TV image was snowy.
Well it was easy to get to... This is an extended stay place- and pretty rough around the edges. Sheets were too small for bed, stains on rugs, old coffee maker missing lid, & ANTS in the kitchen. Kitchen had only spoons & knives. TV was grainy. We moved to the Hilton the next day!
Staff was friendly and fixed our problem for our second night. Smokey and dingy rooms. Kind of scary neighborhood.
Handicap bath room - we did not need
Breakfast variety was good and had healthy options, the room was cleaned and spacious, we really liked having 2 separate rooms with 2 bathrooms so we could get ready faster in the morning. I thought the room was reasonably priced at 2 nights for just under $400. split between 3 people. They didn't tell us what the hours were for the breakfast or where to find it at check in so we missed our second morning breakfast. Not enough towels for number of guests, we had 4 guests and had 3 towels in the entire room. We also stayed for 2 nights but they never replaced our towels or shampoo for the next night. There were no extra blankets or pillows in the room. I would stay again, I would just be sure to ask for double towels and double pillows
I liked the cleanliness of the place and the beds were comfortable. The location is also good and the onsite laundry facilities were a help. The hotel is a bit unorganized and unprepared for their guests. We had to move rooms twice with a family of 5 and many bags. Many of the features in the rooms were not working or missing, of which the staff didn't know about. One of our moves was interrupted by a maintenance worker walking in on a locked door, trying to finish his work on the room. He didn't know were there and the front desk didn't know he was there. We were finally put into a room that worked as it should, but having moved so many times we would say our experience was mediocre. The rooms were okay, not fantastic. All the trouble with the rooms made our experience poor.

We enjoyed the location, the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the room, and the delicious hot breakfast! We didn't like the beds in our room. One bed was very noisy and the other bed had a sink hole which made sleeping uncomfortable.

We had to find a hotel for the night after a garage fire forced us out of our condo for the night. The Best Western Plus Plaza by the Green was so clean and comfortable - seemed new - we all slept really well after a stressful day. The front desk clerk had excellent customer service skills - we felt he was very friendly while juggling 3 guests at once, and he was very accommodating of our needs for an airport shuttle the next morning. We checked in around 9pm and I was happy to see a late-night cookie offered in the lobby - nothing like a little chocolate to help me count my blessings! Hot breakfast was plentiful and delicious and enjoyed with a morning paper and a relaxing view of the golf course. I would stay here again for the great value, free parking, shuttle service and close proximity to the airport.

This motel was clean and comfortable. Good value for the money. Free airport shuttle service every 30 minutes was greatly appreciated. Check in was very slow. It took about an hour due to heavy volume of airport passengers whose flights were unexpectedly delayed that were directed to stay there by Delta Airlines. There was only one desk clerk on duty and it took her a long time to register guests.
Room was nice with good amenities. Breakfast was well stocked with a nice view of the golf course next door. We arrived too late for the Managers reception but it had a nice setting as well. Nice water pressure in the shower. Spa/hot tub area closed for remodeling. Weird location tucked back in the corner of a shopping center.

Nice hotel with high end look and feel. Comfortable beds and clean room with friendly and professional staff. Cafe in the hotel had very limited breakfast menu, and kitchen was shut down for breakfast when we went there at 10AM. Found a breakfast place about 3 blocks away, but would be nice to have breakfast at the hotel.
