9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful and friendly stuff!! Perfect location: right on the beach and close to almost everything in town. Very comfortable and clean and anything u may in need is complimentary in the room. Easy to reach
Cons: Biggest disappointment was the breakfast. There is no tea for starters. Only camomile and 5 types of coffee. The buffet was very limited for an hotel of that standard and the hot meals were not so hot. The room windows need a thorough cleaning. It kind of spoils the amazing view.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Two words...clean & friendly. For those who have traveled quite a bit, you know the forced 'Welcome to our hotel' when in reality, the receptionist simply wants you to check in and not be a bother. Well, I can honestly say that this was the most GENUINELY kind and helpful receptionist team I have ever met. I spoke Korean...broken and slow...and they spoke more English than my Korean which made for interesting encounters during my stay. The room was the cleanest room I have ever stayed in and I have traveled to 40 countries, stayed in countless hotels and this one, as for cleanliness beats them all. There wasn't any dust anywhere in the room. And for those who travel for business know that if there is going to be dust, it would be near the headboard or on the TV...or somewhere on the dresser. This goodness was spotless. The view from my window (8th) floor was wonderful. I could see the full beach and it was just a few steps from the hotel. I needed a quiet place to study, outside of the busy city I live in and this beach and hotel were EXACTLY what I needed. You have a roundtable for two with two very comfortable chairs on an enclosed balcony. There is a 24 hour 'large' mart a few steps away and right across the street, you have plenty of places to eat. The supermarket is about a 5-minute drive away. As a heads up, all toiletries (toothbrush.toothpast, robes, soaps, body wash, shampoo, conditioner) were provided. There were even free snacks in the fridge. Chips/two different drinks/ and water. They even had an extra phone charger in the room. For those taking public transportation from Seoul/Daejeon/or Busan---Daecheon Station (대천역) is about a 20-minute taxi ride away. This hotel definitely fits the needs of beachgoers who are looking to get away for the weekend. So much so, my friend along with two children will be heading back to this gem very soon. I highly recommend this hotel.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location is the best spot of this hotel, just the right in front of hotel. all rooms are facing the sea, you will have good view over the west sea of Korea no matter which room you are stying. Staffs are very kind and nice as well. Breakfast is also good for value
Cons: We had no problem on parking in Hotel but it will be very difficult to park if the hotel is full.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff at the reception counter speaks English and they went extra miles to make sure my needs are met. There is an eMart-24hr right beside the hotel.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location and staff!
Cons: The beds were harder than what I like.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything is complimentary, you don't even have to bring a toothbrush. I guess that is common in Korea. The staff is nice, location is perfect. Valet parking is FREE!
Cons: The café didn't open until 8am, I am a really early riser, so I had to go up the street to get coffee, but almost nothing was open!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, excellent views of the ocean and events. Hip rooftop garden for chilling out and taking in the breathtaking views.
Cons: Bed was a little bit too hard compared to what we westerners are used to. Our room could have had a little more storage for clothes items, maybe a small chest of drawers?
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All Staffs are super polite. Location was perfect. There are complimentary waters and sodas in the fridge.

Pros: Super friendly and helpful staff. Also there was always free popcorn and water at the entrance. About a 10min walk to the mud festival.
Cons: The shower was not separated so the whole bathroom got wet when showering.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: I had an overall great experience. It’s definitely worth the price. I’ll be honest I only slept in the room. There is so much to do in the area that you won’t even want to go to your room.
Cons: There was a little mix up where the housekeeper entered the room while I was showering, but it worked out fine.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good view, next to the sea... :)
Cons: No bathroom cleaning.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very friendly, rooms clean and plenty of space. Our room was beach front. We enjoyed waking up to the sights of the beach and having our morning coffee as the world around us woke up.
Cons: Our stay was just too short.
6.8 Good
Pros: The staff was nice and the location was good
Cons: The beds were too hard
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Only a 5 minutes walk from the festival and directly opposite the beach
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was in an excellent location for a great value
Cons: Bed was really hard and uncomfortable and ive lived here 7 years and am used to korean hard beds.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location, super nice staff, they speak english, super clean, can bring my dog without extra charges.
Cons: The shower had a broken screw wherenit attached to the wall. I was scared it will break.
7.7 Good
Pros: We stayed here during the last weekend of mudfest. Location is good. Is on the further end but really close to the zip line and other activities. Easy and fun walk to so many places. We enjoyed our stay.
Cons: Air conditioning wasn’t so great ( which I feel is normal around these areas), bed was uncomfortable and the air conditioner drained into the bathroom floor which made everything in the bathroom floor wet. I feel that’s could be fine if you just don’t leave stuff in the bathroom floor.
5.8 Okay
Pros: good location
Cons: no breakfast & not very clean

7.0 Good
Pros: Location was great with an awesome view of the beach
Cons: Room rates are high, and they charge extra for every little thing (extra room key 10,000 krw; cream for your coffee 500 krw). Staff wasn’t friendly and didn’t make the bed.
6.8 Good
Pros: The location was amazing! Even though the staff didn’t speak much English they were super friendly and tried to help as much as possible.
Cons: The room wasn’t very clean we found dirt and hair in the sink and bed. The air conditioner didn’t work well so the room was hot. It did have a bath/shower but no door which was new for us even in Korea. Just not worth the price even if it’s on the beach
6.8 Good
Pros: Excellent sea view and near the beach. Many seafood restaurants choices. We love it.
Cons: We stayed there for two days. There were no cleanup services. The room is a little bit small for 3 persons to stay.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location on the beach. Very cool. Even cooler was the name “Mud Beach” (only in Korea
Cons: To hot in the room and no or very limited English by staff and no English anywhere else. Sign language works too, though
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location was great! The staff members were fantastic and quite helpful!
Cons: I feel the price for the basic room was expensive, but the view and the closeness to everything balance things out.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location very close to the Mud Festival and beaches. Nice lobby bar
Cons: Korean style room without any chair to sit down and very slim mattress.
7.0 Good
Pros: I’ve stayed here twice and the location is hard to beat. Right on the beach and all rooms are ocean view. We also bought the breakfast and that was well worth it.
Cons: In our group, one person got seriously ill the night before we left for our trip and decided not to come at all. I sent the hotel a message asking to be switch from a triple to a double room, but I didn’t get a response. We arrived at the hotel several hours before check-in and asked a staff member if we could switch, and they said it would be no problem. But when it came time to check-in, they told us it was impossible. And of course the woman who helped us earlier was no where to be found. On top of that, we requested a no smoking room, but I was woken up in the middle of the night by the string smell of cigarettes coming from the bathroom. When I went down to complain in the morning, I literally only got a shrug and an “I’m sorry” from the hotel staff. I expected better service from Hotel Mudrin.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The view was amazing. I could have stayed on my balcony if I didn't love being in/near the ocean so much. The staff were friendly and mostly helpful.
Cons: There was used soap in the bathroom and the remote didn't work. There was also no WiFi in the room, which isn't what was posted on the original ad. I also wasn't aware that I had to ask for housekeeping to be done.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good location , beach views and when leaving the owner took us by his own car to the bus station.
6.8 Good
Pros: 2 minutes walk from the beach. Friendly and helpful staff. Fyi: the WiFi is free but has a code. Check the router (not the TV box) in the room for the code. See my photo for example.
Cons: Too expensive for what you get. The air-conditioner was damaged so it only blew directly at us in bed.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location-you can enjoy the sea and music fountain from your balcony. The beach is 30 seconds away. Bus stop-less than 5 mins away. Take bus 100 from the Bus terminal and it will get you to the hotel for 1400 won. The owner is VERY KIND. He took us by his

Cons: Everything was ok.
7.0 Good
Pros: Good location, though "second row" without beach / sea view. Receptionist with good English, helping us a lot. Kind staff.
Cons: Rooms seem not being renovated for quite a while. Two of us (party of three) say the beds are to firm (for me personally perfect).
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were clean, staff super friendly, and spoke English. Plenty of parking, though the facility was dated the staff was doing some updating to the rooms. Very reasonable and we loved the fact they were so pet friendly.
Cons: Facility was a little out dated.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Lady at reception was lovely. Room was nice and location was great. Seconds from the beach and a few minutes walk from the mud festival areas
Cons: Bathroom looks fixtures a little dated. Room remote control a little confusing (I can’t read Korean). But otherwise all good

6.8 Good
Pros: Location.
Cons: No microwave in the room. Bed was very hard.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: only redeeming feature is it close to the besch and away from the festival noise
Cons: way overpriced, filthy hotel, poor towels. paid less money per night for a 5 star hotel in gangnam. also the room was infested with sandflies and mosquito
7.0 Good
Pros: The location was great and the staff was super accommodating and very friendly. However, despite allowing us an hour early check-in, the room had clothes from previous tenants including their trash. The air conditioning only worked with the key fob in the wall so, it took awhile for the room to cool down. Not a big deal as we were at the beach until night time. It was a good stay other than the previous tenant’s mess.
Cons: We’ve already explained in the above paragraph. Additionally, the beds were super hard, but we are Americans. This is a cultural thing.
5.0 Okay
Cons: No AC Dark in the room Hard mattress Doesn't feel clean overall Photos are not accurate
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing. Waste of money.
Cons: More than half of the features listed are not actually available or lies. They dont speak english. When I told asked them and showed their listings, they shrugged and only said sorry. No offer or discount or anything. The bathtub drain was clogged full of the previous guests hair so the water didn't go down until I cleaned it out myself! The wifi didnt work and it never got fixed even after I told them about it. They didnt even bother to hide their roach motel...
9.3 Excellent
Pros: It was a great experience meeting owner as friends and family.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Honestly the only thing I liked about this motel was the fact that it was close to the beach.
Cons: I had booked 3 rooms one for my husband 2 other rooms were for friends. My buddies room was dirty. There was literally hair on the bar of soap in his bathroom. The towels that were available were literally the size of wash cloths. The bed was comparable to sleeling on the floor. We were not alloud to check in early even though the website said we could.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Room may be small and a little old but it was very clean. The beach is just a 5mins walk away.
7.0 Good
Pros: I loved the location an the staff.
Cons: The room itself was not what it looked like on the pictures.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place was exactly as described, amazing location and the staff was wonderful!
Cons: The lighting in the main room is not very bright.
