Location is great. We got a package that had free breakfast and private tour of the Museum of Fine Arts and lunch at their nice restaurant. It was worth it the extra money. Also we used the Spa services which were convenient.
Spa is very expensive but good.
Wonderful hotel in a central location. Service was impeccable.
The lobby bar is a little dark. Too bad it doesn't have better views.
Located in the coveted and beautiful Back Bay area, the Mandarin Oriental, Boston holds both the Forbes Five-Star and the AAA Five Diamond awards. With a sophisticated and relaxed atmosphere, this luxurious and comfortable hotel offers the perfect blend of decadence and style. Leave the city behind in The Spa, a luxurious guest room, or the phenomenal on-site restaurant
Even the most basic rooms offer guests accommodations with stunning design, city or courtyard views, bamboo floors, silk curtains, and a marble bathroom with a bath and separate walk-in shower. As these are features included in the most simple guest rooms, visitors to the Mandarin Oriental, Boston should not be surprised that the top tier room, the presidential suite, offers a large bedroom of gold silk-lined walls with an attached living and dining room, fireplace, powder room, pantry, walk-in wardrobe, study, and jacuzzi tub. Other rooms feature four-poster beds, sofas and chaise lounges, bay windows, high-speed WiFi, HD LCD TVs, and desk spaces.
On-site dining is a memorable experience at Bar Boulud, Boston, the French-style bistro and oyster bar with two other locations in New York and London. Specializing in classic brasserie dishes, Bar Boulud is known for its bistro menu, seasonal dishes inspired by New England, and signature charcuterie. The menu offers French and American dishes, with an emphasis on New England seafood, enhanced by a wine cellar specializing in Burgundy and Rhône Valley wines. Guests are certain to taste the divine at one of the most luxurious additions to Boston’s famous Boylston Street.
