the view was the best.
Have to get private parking, costed same as my stay at the hotel. waited for 1 hour and made 5 calls to get brushes.
I think the hotel feels too old.
Lovely hotel. Elevator system very efficient. Rooms very spacious.
Noisy neighbors. Called front desk and they didn't seem to do anything.
Located in large shopping mall in center of town. Very clean and relatively comfortable.
Water bottle in room cost $7.50. Elevators very slow on occasion. Very old TV system with limited HD channel selection.
It is in the Copley Plaza and as such closed to every thing and like other hotels in Boston, too expensive for what one gets in return, but this one was less expensive.
Though Internet was available, only at exorbitant price; amenities in the room, none; one plain bottle of water was $7.50, though we had a nice view to the street, still the room was not cozy, rather detached , impersonal and with white all around gives the sensation one is in a hospital and it is sickening. no night reading lights. In the middle of night to much lights moving to the room frm out side.. It is clear one is not at home!
the room was very clean, great view of the city and the bed was fantatic.will stay again
Elevators are a disaster, unless you love waiting. No free wifi in the rooms (what year is this????). No fridge in rooms (what year is this???)
The amenities, the restaurants, the staff, the rooms were all very nice.
I was very upset with the fact that my room had no internet access other than paying $13 to $17 a day. I am sure when I made my reservation through Kayak that in the description of the room it read that internet access was included. I called the concierge desk but they were of no help to me. As nice as my stay was, I would not stay at this hotel again nor would I recommend it. The elevators were a mess during my stay too. Everyone staying there was upset and complaining about the incredibly long wait times.
U arrived early in the day and they checked me into a lovely room.
I like the location in the back bay. We're comfortable there because we have stayed there so many times
Elevators are a little slow and packed
We were upgraded to a corner room on the 36th floor with an incredible panoramic view of the Charles River and the city of Boston.
We were two guys gong to a red sox game and even though I had called ahead to request two twin beds, we were given a room with a king bed and fold out chair.
Location to a variety of restaurants and shopping and cose enough to Freedom Trail to walk.
No free wi-fi
The location is great for getting around Boston.
The elevators are slow.
We liked everything-the price, the location-Kayak did a great job! Had never booked with Kayak before we were thrilled with the results!!!
the room was clean, if lacking in warmth.
The elevators! All weekend, I waited longer for elevators that I could get on than I did waiting for trains in the "T". On Sunday, after waiting nearly 25 minutes for an elevator that wasn't already jam-packed, I had to carry my luggage down six flights of stairs to the meeting room level to use the escalators (which were out of service). All in, an experience I would expect at a hotel charging half what Marriott did for this stay.
Nice beds..nice location
Everything there is super expensive....no free breakfast...16 dollar fruit plate..ridiculous
The location is great. Handy to restaurants and stores. Breakfast buffet at Champions was excellent. Nice pool and fitness area.
Shower stall wasn't clean. There were men's whiskers and soap scum stuck on the wall where a previous guest had apparently shaved in the shower. Also, hairs in tub and sink. For guests with children, include some pool toys. Maybe a small b-ball hoop and ball. Kids don't really enjoy doing laps.
