The bell man Lanis, was wonderful. He was funny and eager to help me. He gave good advice and great recommendations
- Location - Rooms were nice - Price was reasonable
- We stayed there partly because of the rooftop pool, but they sold so many "day passes" on the weekends, that hotel guests like us couldn't get a chair. It was an amenity that they sold right out from under us. Boo!
Yet another fine experience at The Colonnade! Comfortable rooms, great staff, Rooftop Pool and a Rubber Duck!!! Highly recommend!
Easy to get to many places. Wonderful room double beds and separate table and chairs. We were on college visits, close to T station, shopping and even a visit to the Boston Public Library. Staff was very attentive.
Location was excellent!
Our shower head was spraying onto the ceiling and wall. It made puddle in our bathroom.
Staff was very attentive. Great gym!
No indoor pool :-(
Very clean and comfortable
Large bed. Excellent view. Robes were comfortable. Location was amazing.
Walls were thin.
Location is awesome. Rooms were clean and comfortable. shower had plenty of water pressure. Workout facilities are vwry good.
Parking is pretty pricey. 40 bucks/day.
This hotel looked fine in the online pictures but it was actually much nicer than the pictures. The rooms were beautifully decorated, bed had lots of pillows, nice linens, and very big for a city room. We booked online for 2 double beds b/c that was the offer but they gladly upgraded us to a king room at no extra charge. The restaurant attached called Brasserie Joe is very pretty and serves breakfast so we didn't have to venture out in the snow trying to find a place to eat. Close to nice restaurants and fun bars that we could easily walk to even in the winter cold. Would definitely stay here again.
Had trouble working the TV remote.
Unfortunately his is a youth hostel posing as a boutique hotel. Incredible in todays world that room doors have an air flow underneath and are not noise sealed. Every room door opening and closing and every word/step on the hallway is heard in the room. Check it out on room 940 for yourself. Impossible to sleep after 5:30am with doors banging! Thought you only find that in youth hostels or un-renovated budget hotels... This one should be marketed with a warning label or taken off the list until they have resolved the noise issue. Incredible, otherwise great location and nice views, good room size.
