We changed room to the Tout Coleurs suite. Very nice and big room with irs own bath and terrace. The staff was very friendly and hepfull and the dinner in the evening was good. The swimmingpool look nice and the friendly hotelowner show a new building, where hé is making a new hammam. From the mainroad throughout the oasis thèrese is a short little piste where er should cross a little river.
Very helpful staff and owner. Feeling really like home! Nothing
It's a unique place, more like visiting distant cousins at their country home than staying at a hotel.
the hotel is confortable, very clean and well furnished. The pool is very beautiful and big. You can enjoy your stay playing table tennis, little soccer, bowls or watching movies in the home-theater. Dinner and breakfast are OK The hotel is located 5 km of unpaved road outside Boumalne Dades. Some rooms have no bathroom inside and the shared bathroom is quite far away. If you pay with credit card, you will be charged 5% more, wicth is a lot, considered the price of a double room with no bathroom inside! absolutely not worth the price!
Fantastically located with stunning views. Wonderful layout and design. Tasteful traditional decoration and great facilities. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good food Make sure you have explicit directions, as we found it difficult to locate!
Very nice and very marocco. It is a beautiful hotel, and the facilities are great, rebuield in 2006 and no expence was spared, they used a lot of traditional methods and it really works. It is outside the city, either cross a small river (did it in a normal car) or a dirt road for 5 km.
We were sorry to stay only one night. They seem to be offering a lot to people staying longer than we did: swimming pool, table tennis, hammocks, movie theater (!). We really enjoyed the food and didn't think at all that it was frozen food put into the microwave like other customers have suggested. Far from that! We also liked the fact that the rooms were all individually designed (we were shown quite a few of them). The gravel road can easily be done with a regular car. The one through the river bed can also be done with a regular car, but that of course depends on the water level. To have open bathrooms inside the bedroom might be according to local tradition, but is not such a good idea in a hotel with international customers (who might happen to have problems with digestion...)
We were very surprised from the magic of this place - although the dar timitar is very basic in terms of facilities, its clean, great original maroccan food, and very nice staff! Its a must have if you are looking for an authentic and positive experience! We were wondering why it was not in the lonely planet as this is really a secret tip! The route to the hotel could be a bit better described as it is quite far outside of the next village. But staff is very supporting to manage an efficient arrival.
