Pros: Everything was thought of that we might need and the peaceful location.
Pros: Everything!! The beds were very comfortable and the linens were amazing! Best nights sleep of my trip so far! Very quiet!! The hosts, Jan and Scott were so friendly and hospitable. I would love to have stayed longer❣️
Cons: That was absolutely nothing to dislike. I would recommend this property to anyone.
Pros: Everything in the luxurious Yurt- canopy bed, the style, the breakfast with freshly baked scones and Quiche, the friendliness of the owners who ensure your stay is a great experience. Every detail exudes thoughtfulness. This combines with a surrounding that is worth exploring: Devils Garden is a real find worth going and there‘s a lot more to explore.
Cons: It can’t get any better, really.
Pros: We booked a yurt for the last night of our vacation through Utah. The hosts greeted us, even though we arrived late in the evening. They gave us a great suggestion for dinner and recommended a beautiful hike for the following morning. They really thought of everything. The attention to detail is evident throughout. It's almost unfair to call this a yurt. We've stayed in yurts before, but this is really something special. The upper loft in the Cedar Yurt was great for the kids. The bedrooms were great, as well as the main living area. The bathroom is well-appointed and spacious, and the kitchen area is just right. The breakfast burritos and scones were top notch! If your travels take you through Escalante, this is the place to stay. It will exceed your expectations.
Pros: Lovely breakfast and very knowledgeable, friendly staff.
Pros: very welcoming place in a small remote town. Lots of amenties to enjoy with other families staying there at the same time: corn hole, tether ball, fire pits, swinging chairs (like hammocks) would definitely stay again
Pros: The best accommodation we stay in our trip. The yurts have every comfort, the staff offer us the breakfast inside the room. The bed was very comfortable but the 3 bed upstairs are good for child (the ceiling is low for adults). After dinner we made a bonfire under the stars and it was magic!! Unfortunately we stay only one night...
Pros: Breakfast was wonderful. Swing on property was enjoyed by our kids. The yurt decor and space was also super comfortable.
Cons: Everything was great - the cost was a bit high for that location (other lodging in Escalante is in general less expensive) but the lodging was wonderful.
Pros: From the minute we got here we knew that we had made a good pick. I was greeted by Scott who met me me with a big smile and a handshake. He ran me through the property details and offered dinner suggestions and suggestions for our next day of travel. The yurts are beyond amazing. They are big, clean and well furnished. It is such a treat after staying in a long list of chain hotels for the other parts of our trip. I could not fault anything.
Cons: All good. Nothing at all to complain about.

Pros: Charming bed and breakfast. The drive here was beautiful. Had dinner at Escalante Outfitters, staff was very friendly. Just love the overall experience.
Pros: Lovely garden with shady fruit trees, flowers and a hammock and outdoor furniture. Very pretty, clean room and excellent breakfast. Kind and pleasant owners.
Cons: AC very noisy so second night we used ceiling fan with door partway open which worked great. Having windows and door open, however, reduced privacy.
Pros: The hosts were wonderful Excellent breakfast. Such a nice homey and comfortable room. The garden area was so pleasant to roam and have a few of from our porch
Pros: Great location, very clean and comfortable room, quiet and relaxing garden, in the morning we had a perfect breakfast. The kindness of the owners is something that you rarely see, the attention for details makes you feel that you stay with your friends.
Pros: Really clean and great hosts. An adorable little B & B very close to Escalante. Great breakfast and the room was just as pictured. Would definitely stay again.
Pros: Bennin and Julie are wonderful and hospitable and thoughtful, The cat and the fruits tree and 24 he guest lounge gave very pleasant touches. Very warm and homy and clean place as well. 5 stars without hesitation. :)
Cons: In the morning, 3 of us had to fight for the bathroom. Lol. If there is extra guest toilet , will be helpful.
Pros: We had a perfect stay in Escalante. The check in was super easy and we had a super comfortable room in cowboy style. The garden around is beautiful and the breakfast was amazing.
Pros: All I can say is that every aspect of our visit was outstanding. Wish we could have stayed longer. Hope to come back this way again.
Cons: Can't think of a thing.
Pros: Fantastic room, comfortable and just like home. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing, homemade bread, fresh herbs, hot coffee and fresh juice. I will look for more b&bs on my next trips because of this experience
Pros: Staff, breakfast, quaint accomodations were very nice.
Cons: Room was small if you have lots of luggage.
Pros: What a great place! Cowboy themed. Rustic furniture. Rockers on the porch. We sat out at sunset and rocked with a glass of wine.
Cons: What didn't I like? That I couldn't stay longer.
Pros: Everything...hope to come back again soon.
Cons: Can't think of anything I did not like
Pros: Very kind staff, big housing with good AC. Clean and beautiful. Good located
Cons: We really enjoyed our stay while visiting the Escalante area. It was very spacious and comfortable, and had a nice kitchen area too. Also very close to the entrance of Grand Staircase and the Visitor's Center!
Cons: Air conditioner control was erratic
Pros: Free parking and price!
Cons: No one was ever in the office.
Pros: Hospitality, general atmosphere, surroundings, cozyness.
Cons: Kinda small bed, but OK.
Pros: Lovely cute feature room. Stunning town to stay in - a real surprise with a great restaurant, deli, outdoors shop. Really friendly staff at the desk
Cons: All good
Pros: Decor and the layout of the room. Close to walk to restaurants.
Cons: Shower would constantly switch between cold and lava.
Pros: Good bed, coffee maker in the room, located by a convenience store
Cons: Too many Knick knacks in the room

Pros: The cabin and the location
Cons: Had to walk to the bathroom and that needled repair
Pros: The location and friendliness of the staff
Cons: The fan in the room was needed but it made a loud noise all night long.
Pros: Pet friendly
Cons: Property us very old and is showing its age. Property is not taken care of. Weeds and old picnic tables are jumbled together in a sad mess of landscaping? You pay extra for pets but they have no designated pet area on the property. Window air unit that is very loud.
Pros: We ate several meals at the adjacent cafe, a limited but adequate selection with very friendly staff (unlike the grumpy woman who checked us in on our first night).
Cons: Our tiny cabin with two bunk beds was very dark. More lighting is needed.
Pros: Very comfy beds in a cute cabin. Location was great as we were passing through the park. Showers were basic but what you expect and water was hot with good pressure.
Cons: An over head light in the cabin would have been handy.
Pros: Onsite restaurant is convenient and food is tasty. I got a bagel to go in the morning and they packed it up with fresh fruit. Went back for lunch after my hike, great pizza and calzones. Their attached shop has lots of souvenirs/gear.
Cons: You need to get there by 9PM to check in because they have to shut down after that due to liquor laws with their attached restaurant.
Pros: Restaurant was great, and so convenient. Serves beer too. Food was very good. Staff is super friendly.
Pros: Great value for the price, we really enjoyed our stay in the cabin. The breakfast in the restaurant is exceptional - best food we had on our trip so far!
Pros: The cabins and restaurant.
Cons: The bed was a bit bowled.
Cons: Great stay! Nice experience! Would go back next time!
Pros: Great value for money.
Cons: The restaurant closed very early and we had go go out looking for something to eat instead.
Pros: It was cool sleeping in a tiny cabin for a Great price. Bunk beds for 2 people versus a full/queen in other cabins. Separate shower area.
Cons: Only three cabins had Air Conditioning. Our's did not and we only found out upon arrival. Owner did discount to compensate. Luckly it was cool at night and fans did the trick.

Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage. Planning an event in Boulder? This lodge has facilities measuring 1200 square feet (111 square meters), including conference space. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: It’s really pretty. It is right outside of Boulder & Grand Staircase National Monument. We stayed in a cabin. It was very nice.
Pros: Location was good for hiking at the Grand Escalante Staircase. Breakfast was good each day.
Cons: Lawnmower running each morning, early. I had a hard time finding our room because I arrived after 8:00 pm and the staff was gone for the evening. I followed the signs to the main entrance and luckily there were 2 guests in the main room who told us where to find the owner or manager. We drove to his/her house and finally found someone to help us find our room. It would be helpful if there were instructions for guests who arrive late, and maybe a BIG sign that directs people to check in. With the exception of the kitchen help (who helped us find our room) staff was not friendly. It seemed like we were in a hippie commune. People were working in the gardens, mowing the lawn, etc. but not once did anyone speak to us for the 2 nights we stayed. It was all kind of weird. Our room was not cleaned and no fresh towels were left after the first night. The water machine and coffee maker in the main room were very dirty and the coffee was old and stale. Luckily they had better coffee in the restaurant with the breakfast.
Pros: The location is in a remote mountain area yet has all the necessary facilities except phone reception - best to disconnect. It is so quit that it seems strange at first. Very good restaurant, good beer selection, very friendly staff.
Cons: Breakfast can be improved, e.g. there was no bread and marmelade
Pros: Wonderfully relaxing!
Cons: Dirt Roads to Get There
Pros: Very friendly and the food was fabulous
Pros: We stayed in the tipi, which was a unique experience. The bed was super comfortable and we had enough privacy. It was nice having access to the main building for WiFi and coffee/tea at all hours.
Cons: This might have been user error, but the sun shower didn’t get hot enough for my liking.
Pros: The cabins and the property are beautiful. I imagine that this place is amazing in warmer months. The cabins are clean and new and have all the amenities. The kids loved the spiral staircase up to the bunk room which was spacious and had lots of beds. The 2 double bedrooms were very comfortable and the beds were warm and comfortable. I have never had a better sleep at any other accommodation. This place is great. They just need to make a few improvements for winter guests, like lower the rate.
Cons: We visited I in the winter. The nightly rate during the winter was almost the same as high season yet they are not totally set up for winter visitors. The floors of the cabin were freezing (they need some rugs and a boot mat for dirty snow boots). The animals were away, the restaurant closed, the outdoor shower was closed (of course). These are luxuries that one expects to pay for in the summer/high season. Most of the lodges "luxuries" were unavailable yet we paid almost the same price as one would in the high season. Plus, there was something wrong with the electrical in the cabin. The lights wouldn't work in the master bedroom and the water cooler would not come on - a problem when you can not drink the tap water. We had to pour water from the huge water jug the whole time. We had to email the manager from the main building to get these things dealt with....which we were not about to do at 8pm when we realized the lights wouldn't come on.
Pros: Food was all right. Not exceptional. Staff very helpful
Cons: Not getting our reservation correct probably because I did not go direct with the Guest Lodge. We missed a lot of sleep due to a single queen in the room on our second night. The double queen room was our preference
Pros: It was a great place..and if I came again I'd make sure got smaller room or had more people come with me!! I also appreciated that the breakfasts were simple and not overloaded with sweets. (And rooms devoid of unneccessary fluff) It was quiet, restful. Loved sitting in morning and evening on porch. Suggestion Lists of what to do locally (hikes and leisure day activities) was great. Lower Calf Creek Waterfall and trip to Hell's Backbone Bridge both enjoyable and memorable.
Cons: Somehow didn't expect added fees, and the total additional taxes. So hadn't budgeted and suffered sticker shock. (After deciding to go with the only room left that was already more than I had budgeted for.) My fault not theirs.
Pros: I loved the remote location
Cons: The people treated you like family.
Pros: The Breakfast basket was an unexpected treat. Fresh muffins, hard boil eggs, granola, and fruit. All that was missing was hot sauce. The property location is private and away from the busy town. Kid and dog friendly. There is a short walk to a waterfall, which we did to start the day. There are plenty of places to explore. We will stay here again!
Cons: Absolutely nothing.
With a stay at The Inn of Escalante in Escalante, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument and Escalante Petrified Forest State Park. Featured amenities include express check-in and express check-out. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Nothing special just cleaned
Cons: Very old style hotel. No breakfast but they announced including and very expensive for the type of hotel
Pros: Tom was very friendly and helpful. The room was decorated very nicely and was very clean and quiet.
Pros: The Inn at Escalante was amazing, it is set next to pastures and horses and a view of the hills. It's quiet, beautiful and the owners are so nice. Tom is a great guy and has lots of wonderful stories. Spend some time in Escalante and Escalante Staircase. Its stunning, help protect our National Parks.
Pros: Tom's frittata with fresh peach muffins!
Pros: Good location in the center of Escalante. Great beds and well equipped bathroom. Nice selection of TV channels (HBO) was a nice bonus. We liked the quiet location and nice grounds with horses and cats nearby.
Cons: The owner was nice, a bit overbearing perhaps.
Pros: Very comfortable room, bed & over all accommodations. The owner was friendly and full of lots of great tips for places to eat & amazing sights around the area.
Cons: Was a little skeptical at first, as the corner location looked rather unkept but later realized it was a natural setting.
Pros: room was large and clean. a bit quixotic but charming at the same time. there was a nice seating area in our room where i could write in the morning while my son still slept.
Pros: Very clean and comfortable , The owner also gave us a great route that was beautiful , thank you
Cons: No smoking on the property, lots of rules for a hotel.
Cons: No coffee machine, beds were too high for seniors, TV was too small and 4 poster bed made seeing the TV difficult. Expensive for the location
Pros: The location was great for day trips to slot canyons and Aquarius Plateau.
Cons: With they had a coffee maker. If you get up early to beat heat for hikes, no stores open.
Pros: Fabulous room!
Cons: Owner has lots of rules, which is a little intimidating but he was very kind in person.
