Nice room and attentive staff, Breakfast included No safe in room
Very we'll kept and clean. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Bathroom a little small but ok.
Nice beds to sleep on and very courteous staff . Easy to find location and a decent breakfast
Can't say enough about this hotel. Fantastic!!! Everything exceeded our expectations!!! Will make a point to stay here again when in the area. No complaints.
Chris at checkin was very helpful.
The hotel was comfortable and clean, convenient work space in the room, pleasant family-friendly breakfast area. Easy to get to from the interstate, but not so close as to have noise. I would stay here again.
Clean, new hotel, close to interstate, great breakfast, friendly staff Air conditioning unit was very loud...need to replace or turn down fan for quieter operation
My daughter and I stayed her for two nights because we got sick on a driving trip. Our room was very very comfortable. The staff was very nice. Breakfast was good. We barely left the hotel because we weren't feeling well so it was very nice to have a comfortable room to spend our time in They could use a few more waffle makers for the breakfast area, they were really backed up. Also probably not an issue for people actually there to do things and leave their room, but the television offerings were a little sparse, would have been nice to be able to rent movies or something through the tv.
Service was was very friendly after a long ride. Room was clean and comfortable.
locariin was great... Lots of eateries and stores nearby Room were very small.. Bathroom door was a sliding door that was shared between bathroom and a tiny closet and had no locks..we had to keep a chair every time we used the bathroom so it wudnt slide open...
Price was good
Free coffee and cookies in lobby, nice breakfast, clean and updated rooms. Pool not open during construction
The layout of the rooms, the staff, and the convenience when you're working around Harrisonburg.
Staff, comfort bed, clean bathroom.... After I stayed here I trust more about Kayak reviews. I don't have any complain at all.
Calm and relatively quiet considering the noisy highway just close by. Very good pricing for the services offered. I definitely consider returning back if opportunity occurs.
the building did not seem to be a hotel, very nice. we felt at home straight away. na
Check in staff could use customer service training. Snary & rude. Bathroom floors very slippery when wet.
ver modern facilities
This motel was in a good location for a visit to Bridgewater College. It is also nice to find a motel with all no smoking rooms. There seemed to be a slight musty smell in the bathroom, could have been from the wirlpool bath.
Very friendly quint
This is a beautiful hotel! There is an amazing courtyard that my dog loved. They even have a pet station with bags to clean up after your dog. The staff was very helpful and the rooms clean and very modern. The whole hotel looked brand new even though the staff told me that it was not a new property. Got more than what I paid for!!!
The hotel was very clean and new looking. They had a small, but adequate, continental breakfast with waffles, donuts, bagels, apples, oranges, boiled eggs, coffee, 2 cereals, milk, OJ, apple juice, muffins. We took our 2 small dogs and the hotel has a nice courtyard area to walk dogs and had a 'doggy station' with bags and trash can. Very pet friendly. Our children liked the hotel too.
The room was surpisingly clean... looked like the place just opened or something. They allow pets for $10 extra, so it was nice to bring our dog... they have a little park area with the baggies and trash for the pets to use the bathroom. We were very thankful for the wireless internet also, very handy to find maps online while visiting! The continental breakfast was nice had a variety of things including fresh waffles. Would definately recomment and stay here again!
An older hotel that had been somewhat updated. Bathroom still had hair in it from previous occupants. Front desk help was not very professional.
We have stayed here three times and we always feel safe and comfortable here. Rooms are clean and hotel is pet friendly - the main reason we stay here. I only wish they had a better place to walk the dogs - we were relegated to a small patch of grass behind the dumpster. At any rate, it is conveniently located just off the highway and close to many restaurants and shops. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.
Very easy check-in with larger pet, $10 for pets and not restricted to specific rooms. We got more than we expected.
This is a GREAT hotel for those of you traveling with a pet. The room was on the first floor right next to the designated area for walking your pet. It is REALLY nice. The room was nice and clean and quiet. The staff is friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel and we will be staying here again! Also it's in a great location surrounded by places to eat. Two thumbs up!
This Comfort Inn is nice with indoor access rooms, pretty lobby, decent rooms, and good breakfast. We especially liked the waffles!! Although we did not travel with pets, it was nice to find that they are a pet-friendly site. And it is close the beautiful Massanetta Springs and Massanutten Ski Resort. If you stay, check out the farmer's market's near the Harrisonburg Exit and in Dayton. Also in Dayton, the Old Mill building with gift shop.
Excellent location to shopping and restaurants. Beds were comfortable and room was neat and clean. I was surprised as the room rate was much lower than others in the area. We would stay here again.
Very clean, well appointed room. Good variety for breakfast. Clean well taken care of breakfast area. Will return, if in area.
I have a pet, Chocolate Lab, and we were on the way home to visit my parents. The room was very nice. I would stay again if going this way.
This was a challenging stay. We stayed on the 2nd floor of the hotel. The walls were paper thin. All night you could clearly hear the people in the room next to us and above us. Some of the noise was unfortunately what you could imagine. We almost left in the middle of the night. Not worth the cost
To be honest, not a thing. The room were the most disgusting I have ever stayed in. The price was significantly more than I would have expected for such a horrible facility. The rooms smelled, the bedding was outdated, stained, and smelly. In short this was perhaps the worst night of my life spent in a hotel.
It would have been a better experience if housekeeping had a vaccum.
Indoor pool and pretty good breakfast. I own a flooring company. I had two rooms, the first room the hotel staff couldn't get the keys to work the door and had to use their master to let us in for the first two days. The second room had old food in the refrigerator when I got to the room as well as someone else's hair in the shower on the shower walls and floor. The AC cover was off and laying in the floor. It was so bad that we left with a remaining 5 pre paid days and switched hotels.....I had paid for my room on Priceline so no refunds....but we couldn't stand it anymore. I wouldn't consider staying there again.
Nothing It was ill kept. No iron or board. You didn't want to touch the carpet. Bathroom barely passable - not deep cleaned. Only one Kleenex in the box. No tv channel guide. Our instincts said, "find another place!" We should have listened to our instincts! In bad need of refurbishing.
The location was great. Our room was not very clean but it was good enough for one night. It would not be if you are a super clean person. I am not so it was fine.
Breakfast was finished before 8
location is convenient just beside of the entrance of highway. poor cleaning Coffee milk is opened and messed up. shower is not with hot water
non-smoking room, smelt like smoke....window left open and pollen everywhere....room served its purpose but would not come back.
king size bed was available needs updating in fixtures/furniture very limited choices for breakfast
We enjoyed the pool while on our stay. The hot tub was not working at the time. Breakfast was hot and well stocked. Everything was available. Check in and check out was quick. We did have a room off the elevator during our stay. It was very noisy until 10 pm. There was a soccer team staying on our floor and the kids were running up and down the halls till after 9:30 pm. Not ideal for getting a toddler to sleep. The parking lot at the rear of the hotel was also noisy and could be heard through our window.
Breakfast was bare bones continental, but edible. Hard to mess up fruit and yogurt. The toast was stale, but jelly helped. Almost everything was poor. We had 'non-smoking' room that stank of rug shampooed smoke. We were told that was there shampoo and the manager pointed to the door symbol 'See - Non Smoking room'. The smell was horrible every time we stepped into the room. People partying out on second floor first night. Key card lock did not work until carding in 4-5 times each time. My wife and I travel a lot. This was not a technique issue. A maintenance guy came up the second day and it took him 5 attempts. This is no better than a 2.0 only because room had no bugs and there was a minimal breakfast each morning.
Good water pressure. We weren't expecting a boutique hotel for that price, but the hotel was undergoing renovation and the first room they gave us had no electricity. We moved. Keys did not work. Walls are paper thin. Towels paper thin. Restaurant closed during renovation so we had to walk to sister hotel next door for included breakfast. After renovation it may look better - it was pretty seedy - but had we known we would not have stayed there. Staff was accommodating.
I was just very impressed by the quality of the room for the prce that we paid. I'm used to having to pay at least double to get what we got at the Ramada in Harrisonburg
The hotel was very clean and up-to-date. The pool and hot tub were clean and in very good condition. Our stay included a hot breakfast that had a good variety of items to pick from and it was well stocked. Our only complaint, if you could call it that, was the flavor of the eggs in the morning. They tasted a little sweet. Everything else was perfect.
The B&B was charming...part of the Manor House was built in 1790, the 'newer' portion in the 1800's. The decor in our 1790 Suite was a floral pattern in hues of blue. There was a private balcony & the sitting room was equipped with TV, books, etc.
Has a stove, kitchen sink, dishes. Perfect to make my own food to fulfill my dietary requirements. Bathroom toilet hit the wall everytime I sat down.
Size of room was good, suite was usuable Bathroom was very dirty, toilet didn't flush well, no ice available
Staff was friendly and helpful. Place was very clean. The bed was too firm, and I hadn't realized beforehand it was an extended stay motel.
Staff were very nice and accommodating. Extended stay hotels are a little different. No ice machines. Not so bad, but an inconvenience. Price was high for this hotel.
