When we arrived we had to wait about 20 minutes in line behind another customer and then when it was our turn the phone rang and instead of putting them on hold and serving us the took the call and then another call came in and they took that and finally helped us. 5.0 Okay
Pros: I was nice to have a room that would acadate my walker and allow me to shower.

3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Location.
Cons: Old, dirty, outdated, creaky, hot, I cannot imagine the steep grade in the entrance driveway is legal. There was no working business computer, and the pool is closed. There were old rotting boards with nails in them near the parking spot at the front desk, no landscaping, just dirt, dry weeds, and exposed black landscaping fabric. I will seek a full refund for this stay, and as travel agent myself, I would never recommend this property to any of my clients.
4.2 Okay
Cons: I thought Howard Johnson name was a good motel name, but not at this location. No swimming pool.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Quiet and early check in
Cons: Pool was not open and was not told
5.8 Okay
Pros: The Shower was good for a disabled person.
Cons: The Grounds were very rundown. This is a Hotel that has seen better days. It is in dire need of improvement. Breakfast provided was inadequate.
7.5 Good
Pros: The breakfast was adequate. The location was great for our needs.
Cons: The property looked like it could use some repairs. The vent fan in the bathroom didn't work. The refrigerator didn't work (the freezer did work).
6.3 Good
Pros: The price was good for just needing a place to sleep.
Cons: Had to wait for hot water to shower, the first person had cold water. Not very many plug ins.
4.0 Okay
Cons: Looked like an Indian man owned the place and had his family living there. A woman was staring at me in a weird way. Bathroom toilet was peeling and seat was dark yellow. Shower floor is brown so you can't tell if it's clean or not. Bed was decent.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: The TV worked.
Cons: It felt like the place was condemned. Very unsafe feeling. Advertised with a pool, but that pool has clearly been nonoperational for a long time.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Beds were ok and linens appeared to be clean.
Cons: Very old and dilapidated. Over priced for what you received. This hotel is price gouging for summer travelers.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Good location. Near freeway and town. Breakfast was OK.
Cons: Property is old and run down. Owners show NO pride of ownership and NO customer service skills. Pool is not working and landscaping is not done. There was a bee nest above our door. Our room had a musty smell. Bed was uncomfortable and sheets were old.
4.2 Okay
Pros: I like the sunset view from second floor. I was just glad there was a bed afyer driving all day.
Cons: Staying in a more modern hotel. I expected better quality from a Howard Johnson but I guess the name ain't what it used to be. The place was an old motel with old furniture gloomy interior and old flowery bed cover. If I could have stayed somewhere else would have been much happier especially for the price.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Not one thing
Cons: everything was so messy and gross
