Pros. Great views of Manhattan. Easy to get to and nicely decorated. Great staff very friendly and helpful! I would definitely recommend this to others.
Pros. Everything was clean and orderly, I felt safe and like the management took an interest in keeping things running smoothly.
Cons. Faint odor of the Chinese restaurant next door, room was on the small side (though it is Brooklyn).
Pros. Clean and comfortable
Cons. Unfortunately, we have to echo many of the negative reviews left by others. We paid for a king room, they gave us a queen without saying anything. Upon arrival, we were immediately disappointed: the lobby area was less-than-inviting, front desk was rude, but we thought we would try to give it a shot, so we proceeded with check-in. From there, things got worse: the elevator door wouldn't close, hallways smelled bad (like greasy food), there were stains on bed sheets. We went back downstairs and gave them back the room key. Since our room was non-refundable, we called Wyndham corporate and asked for a full refund, explaining that the property was completely unacceptable. Received a call back the next day and they agreed to refund our money. Parking is also terrible in this area, but that wasn't the main dealbreaker for us - you pay to park in their lot, but then they do not guarantee the space will be available again if you need to leave and come back. They also said they charge multiple times if you need to leave and come back.
Pros. The experience was so poor, I cant say I liked anything.
Cons. I showed up @130 in the morning to find out that my prepaid room had been given to another guest. This was during Fashion Week and the US Open in NY where there are NO hotel rooms available for under 1200 bucks. The clerk apologized but for some reason had a lot of trouble staying focused on locating me another room and was distracted by conversations with staff, cops walking by to use the bathroom, etc. He eventually got me into a room 4 blocks away - a crappy Sleep Inn which when I arrived told me THEY sold the room I was promised in the 3 minutes it took me to get there (another story). Still havent seen my refund posted.
