Radisson Collection Grand Place Brussels offers an impressive range of dining establishments, including the elegant Michelin-starred Shanghai Kitchen and casual dining restaurant Stoke Bar and Grill Restaurant, which serves Belgian cuisines.
What can guests expect from the hotel's staff?
Super efficient and friendly staff, great staff, great comfortable room, excellent location and wonderful breakfast, staff was excellent at helping and giving us local recommendations, staff were amazing, so friendly, and upgraded our room with no extra charges.
How is the cleanliness at Radisson Collection Grand Place Brussels?
Location, cleanliness and comfort. Food was good too. Nice, clean rooms with a fantastic breakfast selection available! The hotel design is nice, very clean and very good location. Rooms were thoroughly cleaned and housekeeping staff were very pleasant and helpful.
What are the common concerns about the hotel's services?
Some of the staff in the bar/restaurant were quite aloof and difficult to engage with. The evening concierge doesn't even know English and doesn't know the city. The rooms stink because there is no outside air, the toilet doors are glass and cannot be closed, the hotel is old and needs to be renovated, they don't have a spa, but the masseur comes to the room, the garage is too expensive, we ordered an avocado sandwich and waited 30 minutes for they brought us food. Check-in slow and not responsive. Maintenance of general areas - needs updating, stained./worn carpets in hallway. Some paintwork a bit worn and the grout around the tiles in the bathroom needs to be renewed. The bathroom could do with some re-decorating. Although rooms felt new and updated, the building and hallways are a bit old and need minor repairs.
What are the best times to visit Radisson Collection Grand Place Brussels?
The hotel is beautifully decorated and is in a very good location, close to the Grand Place, the central station and other public transportation options. The restaurant and bar are also very nice. Breakfast is very good. The hotel is very centrally located, within walking distance from the Grand Place, theatre, shops, restaurants, cafes etc. The room was comfortable and well furnished. The bed was comfortable, the sound isolation was good and the air conditioner worked without any issues.
