6.3 Good
Cons: Our room was across from the elevator. If you are a light sleeper, don’t plan on sleeping in if you get put in one of these rooms. The elevator chimes three times when it reaches the floor. I counted it going off 10 times shortly after 6 am then just decided to quit trying to sleep. My kids were able to sleep through it just fine. The pool was was on the smaller side and a bit cold. Three older kids got in there and were trying to race across the pool and ended up taking up most of the room. My kids didn’t end up staying in there very long.

Pros: room is best, breakfast is very good
Cons: a long way to building E
5.0 Okay
Pros: booked the room months in advanced. the hotel was under renovation. hallways were a disaster. the paint and other chemicals stung my eyes so bad I could not tolerate it. the pool was very cloudy from over chlorination I wasn't about to enter. staff was great though.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Conveniently located right off of freeway...great breakfast in the morning...staff is very professional and friendly...
Cons: Don't be misled by the 3 star rating...it's an older motel being renovated...I would rate it a 2 star at the moment...
5.0 Okay
Pros: The best part of the stay was the outstanding breakfast.
Cons: Bed not made for two days. Towels needed to be replaced. Never replaced the shampoo or cups or empty garbage. For our two week trip this was the most expensive hotel with the worst service
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Tiny bit of hair in shower
4.5 Okay
Pros: A nice gift basket and message from the GM.
Cons: The property was being repainted all at once. Wall paper was stripped from the walls and plaster mud applied on every hall of the hotel. There were paint chips everywhere and ladder in the hall just outside our room. The room itself was fine but the paint smell in the hall watered our eyes and we had to hustle to get outside. I strongly suggest that renovation not be undertaken all at once but rather one part of the hotel at a time. The cost of the room was excessive!
7.0 Good
Pros: Staff was nice and it was a clean toom.
Cons: Lots of noise. As if there was something in the wall. Thought it might be next room shuffling things around at 5 pm, but noise persisted throughout the night and early morning. Sooo, very little sleep.

6.0 Good
Pros: Lobby, breakfast and desk staff.
Cons: Renovation.Would not go here again until 100%complete.Unfinished hallways.Rm smelled like stale, old smoke like the home of an ex smoker. Clean, bed comfortable - soft.fridge and micro. Partial bath update worn out toilet seat.Good breakfast.disappointed

Pros: We quickly went to Butte BW when a fire erupted in Wise River.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very nice and welcoming. Although it is close to the highway and you need your car to get to the center, museum etc. (10min) price is good. They offer 15pct at the restaurant closeby. Butte has a good museum on the region's mining history

The yellow tape had blown down and there was no signs to direct us to the back parking lot. He could have been a little friendlier about it. Once we were inside the man and the two ladies each were thinking that the other was checking us in until I asked. Besides the staff and location(nothing close to walk to) it was nice place for the price.

It is like it used to be a smoking hotel, but since becoming a non-smoking hotel, they haven't changed out the carpet or the drapes. The whole place could definitely use an update. The carpet was dark brown and looked and smelled like it was installed in the 70s.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: good staff, good location, good room with fridge,
Cons: the wall air conditioning unit produced a musty smell in the room when it was turned on, even on just the "fan" setting. This was a problem because Butte was very hot the day we stayed.

Pros: This place was quite the find. The help was fabulous. Everyone went out of their way to be helpful. Bar on site is the cheapest I've seen in a long time. Room was great. Price even better!
Cons: N/A
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Had hair left in tub drain. Otherwise very nice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It felt clean. Beds were comfortable and it was nice and quiet.
Cons: Not hotel's fault but it was inconvenient to get to because of road construction. For the price it could have a better breakfast. Also prefer vanity in bathroom.
5.0 Okay
Pros: They only had smoking rooms left so we took it, and opened the window to air it out. The heater/air sounded like a small plane taking off whenever it came on, so we turned it off. The beds were not very comfortable the room was pretty shabby, the soap dispensers for showering were empty. They advertise a bar restaurant which is really just frozen pizza and microwave popcorn, two beers was $10. But the real problem is the trucking company next door, they start loading Semi-trucks at 3am and don't stop until around 6am, lots of loud banging and clanging making it very hard to sleep. I have no idea why this place is getting such good reviews but I wouldn't stay there again nor recommend it to anyone.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: It was clean and the bed was comfortable. The clerk at the desk was friendly and very pleasant. I really appreciate that they are pet friendly.
Cons: Because of road construction it was difficult to find and they could use a little better signage on the actual building.
5.5 Okay
Pros: It was clean
Cons: Advertised breakfast only saw some muffins had 1 coffee pot for all of the guest which were many beds were hard was difficult to get to heavy construction area
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: The location is the only positive. This hotel is the most filthy, disgusting, run down, poorly ran hotel in Montana. Every inch of this hotel (inside & out) is filthy dirty & nasty. The carpets haven't ever been cleaned & floors have never been scrubbed. The bathroom are so rundown that the whole toulet moved left to right & you can literally pull the tub spout of the wall. There is food & dirt on the ceilings, walls, surfaces, & floors. I wore shoes the whole time because I was actually afraid of catching athletes foot or worse from the carpet. We dealt with no electricity & no hot water, on top of trying to get ready for our daughter's wedding. Please refer to the pictures. Only book here if you are okay paying $150 a night for disgusting, dilapidated filth. This hotel owner is taking advantage of travelers coming off off I-90 & folks booking events in Whitehall, MT because it's the ONLY hotel. No smoke detectors, exposed wires in some rooms. Also the lobby is COMPLETELY closed from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. so NO services for guests & the two doors keading outside are left open 24/7, so ANYONE can access the hotel. It is so dangerous. Plus, the 2nd story metal staurs are so rusted on weld spots that they are going to fail. Someone is going to get hurt or killed at this property

9.3 Excellent
Pros: We arrived late and night clerk was very friendly and accommodating. Room was spacious, clean & comfortable
Cons: Bed was too hard for my partner & she didn't sleep well. Difficult to get to due to major construction of the I-90 interchange.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Convenient of freeway but difficult to reach due to major road construction
Cons: Smoking rooms at end of hallway permeated throughout the whole hallway. Air condition unit not balanced or secured to wall properly, sounded and felt like a jet engine. Breakfast barely qualified for a continental breakfast. I had to ask twice where the breakfast was, was directed to the hot water and oatmeal packages. Rooms need better lighting. No bar soap. No hairdryer but one available upon request. Pillows marginal, hard.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast lasts until 10am
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The price and there was a bar in the place
Cons: The shower was tiny
7.5 Good
Pros: Quiet location and comfortable bed.
Cons: A granola bar and a small muffin does not even count as a continental breakfast. We felt that saying breakfast was included is a bit of false advertising.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Shower didn’t work rooms were extremely small
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: what breakfast
Cons: everything
1.0 Poor
Pros: The best part is when we left.
Cons: Better question is, was there anything I liked?
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect. The new owners are super friendly. They are working very hard to improve Eddy's Motel. It had fallen into some disrepair when they took it over. They have implemented a no smoking policy and are renovating the rooms one at a time. My room had fresh paint, curtains, and bedspread so it was very nice. My room still had the old carpet, so I could still smell the smoke. However, their renovated rooms are now hardwood floors. I am sure those rooms have no smoke smell.
4.5 Okay
Pros: hot water, tv
Cons: air conditioner was very loud. toilet didn't work properly, tank lid was from another toilet. hair dryer didn't work, rust on interior of front door and all registers. flat, uncomfortable pillows, old stained bedding. was told there was coffee in the morning, not. office was locked in morning so could not get ice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The old style motor inn. Single level attached rooms. It was basic and good. They had more shampoo and soap than other places. It also had a hair dryer on the wall. Chanels for TV was good. There was a food store across the street and having a microwave and fridge was great! Breakfast was basically fresh pastries.
Cons: Parking is tight. You park directly in front of your room. If the people next door have a longer vehicle, it is very tight.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff/owner were so friendly. The place is absolutely adorable. My husband and I would stay there again should we be passing through Butte again.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: We were so surprised about this vintage property that was so affordable, yet still very clean and comfortable! Traveling with a big family we would definitely plan to stay there again! Their quadruple room had 3 California Kings in it!
3.0 Mediocre
Cons: Room smelled, bed was uncomfortable,no coffee pot in room, microwave was broken, no screen on window, very small and cramped. Payed for 2 nights, but could not take another night.
6.8 Good
Pros: The room was as clean. It had a kitchenette which was very convenient. It was an excellent price and the staff said the rooms were getting new furniture. Pet friendly with a nice place to walk dogs.
Cons: This property is very run down and not located in a very nice area.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: This is an older motel, but very clean and comfortable. Rooms have been updated. No breakfast, but coffee and breakfast bars are available in the office lobby
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel really wad the gem of our road trip! I loved how comfortable the room was and how welcoming the staff was. Hotels like these are hard to come by. I would totally stay again.
Cons: Everything was great!

Pros: Friendly staff and clean room

1.0 Poor
Cons: Traveling with children. Hotel advertised a pool. No mention of pool being closed for repairs. Had I known, I would have payed slightly more for another hotel or significantly less for one w/o a pool. I feel I payed for something that was not provided
6.3 Good
Pros: The maid was very nice. Free tea & coffee anytime.
Cons: There is black mold in the bathroom; the hot tub was out of order the whole time(3 days); the pool was out of order the last 2 days; got evacuated 1st morning due to carbon monoxide; was told sausage for breakfast but only ham was available; took $ off my card even before i checked in!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room comfort and location

6.3 Good
Pros: Easily accessible. Clean and comfy.
Cons: The booking.com facilities listing says “Pets allowed. May charge extra.” But once we got there we were told that pets are not allowed on property. I have an ESA w/documents. We specifically booked this ahead of time for that simple reason. We arrived a little after 1AM and at that point, who wants to argue, and after traveling 1300 miles. Pls. remove your false advertisement about being pet friendly. Simple and save some heartaches.
4.3 Okay
Cons: The room was filthy.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location
5.5 Okay
Pros: The breakfast was the bare minimum. They ran out of food early on and it was obvious they had not planned well for all the guests they had.
Cons: The carpets in the hallways were worn out and filthy. The swimming pool was so cold the grandkids jumped in and right back out. Very disappointing after a long day's adventures.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed soft, extra clean.... very helpful staff
Cons: The bathtub was kinda small. Not agood set up. A/c was kinda weak too.
6.8 Good
Pros: Eating area to small and not the cleanest
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was outstanding.
Cons: There was no AC in the rooms, they forgot to clean my room one day during my three day stay. it's an older motel, but it was clean despite the obvious dated facilities.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: There were fingernail clippings on the floor. Evidently they didn’t vacuum.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing
Cons: I had no air. Went to change rooms but all 4 rooms I looked at had no air. Had to buy my own fan.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Staff was great.
Cons: The carpets are filthy. The hallways need paint, badly. The place smelled and in some places it was clear air freshners were sprayed to cover the odor, but I woke up all night to that disgusting chemical blanket in the air. It is too bad too because new carpet, new paint would raise the quality of the stay there by 300%. Staff was great.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Exterior updates looked good.
Cons: Dated interior, peeling wallpaper, thin walls. Breakfast was mediocre.
6.8 Good
Cons: Air-conditioning not working

1.0 Poor
Cons: The front door needs to be fixed, had issues with closing, no hot water for a shower, huge puddle in front of door, couldn't connect to the WiFi which made for a horrible next day of traveling because we couldn't download movies!
3.8 Mediocre
Cons: It was dirty. Windows were filthy. Door was not very secure. PIZZA delivery place would not deliver because driver had been robbed there. A lot of foot traffic t on upstairs rooms at all hours. It was pretty sketchy.
3.8 Mediocre
Cons: My room was dirty and smelt like smoke.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location and very affordable. Staff was super friendly, in typical Butte fashion.
Cons: Wifi was not working in my room, but I think that was a problem with Charter and not the Hotel. The bedspread was stained and I could hear my neighbor coughing.
5.0 Okay
Pros: It was open.. The staff were very nice.. in the morning on check out I asked to speak to the manager... she was very apologetic and gave me a discount for my stay... (I’m still waiting for that to come back to my account) Again the staff were pleasant.. but even the discount doesn’t fix the experience..
Cons: On checking in my room smelled of cigarettes..... room appeared clean until I looked in the bathroom... the corners were mouldy ..... The laundry was disgusting.... neither machine worked. The cable tv kept dropping out..internet service was also inconsistent.... Only soap in the room and it was broken. No shampoo etc. No change for the laundry..... Room next door had tv on all night long, that was very loud... all in all, not a good nights rest
4.3 Okay
Pros: It was a quite hotel during the day. The staff were very friendly.
Cons: The room was not clean when I arrived. The floor had not been cleaned and turned the bottoms of my feet black with dirt from walking around in the room barefoot. The hot water did not work half the time. The remote for the TV didn't work unless you held it two inches from the TV.
6.8 Good
Pros: Customer service was good.
Cons: Could have been cleaner.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The staff are the best part of this Motel 6. Very kind and helpful.
Cons: The motel itself is very run down. There was a half inch opening below my door that I had to stuff with towels to keep flies from coming in. The door itself not at all secure making me feel unsafe. Other guests a little too friendly for my comfort if you know what I mean. Lots of loitering in the parking lot at night with drunk and partying people.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Motel is in the historic district. May need GPS for easiest find, but still not difficult to find, just go downtown and look for Wyoming street. Motel staff was helpful and friendly. There was a disturbance in the night, two men fighting, but the staff broke that up. It is older, but in many ways updated. I like the "wooden" floors instead of carpet. everything looked fresh and clean. Bed is new and comfortable. Price is perfect. Have been less pleased in far more expensive places. Lot of tourists staying there. Close all downtown sites. Short drive to the College and mining exhibits there. No luxury, but no need to pay for that pretty stuff anyway. Bathroom updated.
Cons: WiFi was hard to use in the evening. Just fine in the morning. Thus, very small bandwidth. Charge a bit more and power up. Was not a big issue to me, I was on vacation!
7.0 Good
Pros: - really good price to value - comfortable room
Cons: - wifi doesn’t work - place is kind of creepy
1.0 Poor
Cons: Many. There was atleast 5 homeless people walking around. There was plenty of abandoned homes surrounding it and it is pretty isolated from the strip. We still ended up not staying as I know our kids and my husband and I wont feel safe. Horrible
7.0 Good
Pros: The location was great and the staff very friendly and helpful.
Cons: We could not use the internet - it kept cutting off almost as soon as we got on.
