Pros: The owner was so lovely. He was very warm and accomodating as were the rest of the staff. We were so overwhelmed by the beauty of the property, the room, pool and views were exquisite. We dined at the property for dinner and breakfast and both were delicious Italian meals, we left very full and happy. Would recommend this stay so much!! The best place we stayed in Sicily.
Pros: Fantastic place, though difficult to find because we received an e-mail with the correct name on the entrance gate AFTER arriving to the area. Otherwise very nice hosts and highly interesting property in a vast olive tree area. Could easily have stayed 1-2 days longer.
Cons: The property name announced in Booking.com should appear on the gate. Very difficult to find without it!
Pros: In a word - stunning. Large, historical building, beautiful swimming pool, amazing views, large and comfortable rooms (v good mattresses and pillows), 3 young kids adored the pool and table tennis table, very accommodating hosts, excellent food and v good buffet breakfast. The road up to this place is a few kms long, the setting is breathtaking. Visited Pollizi Generosa and found it the most authentic of the local villages, Parco Aventura Madonie not to be missed by young and old, lunch at Terrazza Costantino was amazing and worth the drive. My sons favourite place of our entire trip, he thought it was 'magical' and he's probably right, its v special.
Cons: nothing - we really enjoyed.
Pros: Everything was excellent, the very hospitable host, the magnificent landacape, the picturesque location and ...the delicious food
Pros: The staff very friendly and helpful! I would stay here again.
Cons: lots of stairs to the room, but it is an old building in the old part of town -- I somewhat expect that.
Pros: The apartment was very nicely decorated, clean, in a good location, other then parking and was comfortable.
Cons: The issue we had due to the extreme weather temperature was the room had no AC and we needed to leave the window wide open through the night. This would have worked but because a church is located very close and it's bells chimed every 15 min through the night we could not sleep. I realize this may not be the fault of the owner but renters should know.

Pros: Dinner was great - cooked especially for us and the other guest. Breakfast was also very good. Rooms/apartments were nice and the whole place and surroundings was well kept and good looking.
Cons: Very heavy rain storm when we arrived. Coffee for our breakfast was not so good (too much milk in the cappuccino, and the espresso was cold).
Pros: Loved how the rooms are a 5 second walk to the pool, lovely food, beautiful views
Cons: Very dark, needs an outside light so you can find the entrance
Pros: We were greeted with big smiles, and were made to feel exceptionally welcome by all. The location is stunning, and I can say with confidence that my pre-breakfast run was the mot beautiful I've ever been on, surrounded by lush green wheat fields and rolling hills. It was quite chilly outside in March/April given the elevated altitude, but there was a little heater already warming our room, and plentiful hot water. Dinner is something that you must not miss, with everything homemade and fresh. Just don't come expecting to lose weight, as you will be offered full Sicilian hospitality with a stunning array of delicious anti pasti, primi, secondi and dolce. It is some of the best food I have tasted in Sicily, and that is saying something.
Cons: The cornetti were lovely, but I would have liked eggs for breakfast, but then again, I didn't ask so I cannot complain!
Pros: The food prepared for dinner was delish!
Cons: Could use with a few extra pillows on the bed and linen. Also there tends to be families that come to use the pool in the day time making it quiet noise during the day. As the rooms are right off the pool
With a stay at B&B Il Raggio di Sole in Caltavuturo, you'll be in a regional park, and 7.8 mi (12.5 km) from Madonie Regional Natural Park and 30.7 mi (49.4 km) from Cefalu Beach. Featured amenities include luggage storage and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: This property was at the right place at the right time. Even though the owner was away they had a neighbor watching for us. He let us in and set us up in our room. They had a safe place to store our bike.
Cons: Really was not anything we did not like.
Cons: Be prepared that breakfast is OK, but traditional Italian. Not continental or british. You can bring your own breakfast ingredients.
