Pros: Leticia is a very welcomimg host and great Person. The views are exceptional. We dont like to always take the car and had some great walks just leaving the Site. Very special (+++) breakfast. I would always go back!!

Cons: Our room was nearby a domestic Power station. That was sometimes a bit loud (only because it was so quite)

Pros: The hotel is located in the increadible place - you can enjoy the sea view from the terrace in front of the builiding (as we had garden view). Big and beatiful room, extremly clean and great decor! Served breakfast with different dishes and local home-made cake. Very calm. Extremly kind owner. We would like to come back one day.

Pros: 3 course breakfast everyday, absolutely fantastic. Location location, sea views everywhere you look. Such friendly helpful staff, plenty of local information.

Pros: Family owners with an eye for details and love for service. The bedroom is of excellent standards like a 5* hotel. Super clean with nice amenities like the 'Ritual' brand products. Very comfortable and cosily decorated, feeling like at home. Concept for breakfast is great, I would define their concept as 'simple is best' yet surprising and yummy. Outstanding views for breaks on their terrace and garden in the morning, during the day or even at night watching the stars while serving yourself a little glass of wine. Because at Casa Maravilla it's like in your own home. Everything you need, nothing you don't need. Thank you for being such a nice family and honouring the world "hospitality". Me and my boyfriend loved our stay and beaches recommendations

Cons: The only negative thing is that they do not have a restaurant to enjoy the good food together with the fantastic view.

Pros: Very lovely setting, room was comfortable and the bathroom good except for the slightly leaky shower screen. It is quite an isolated setting and very quiet, perfect place to unwind for a day or two. A walk to the lighthouse is a must as the views are breathtaking - and there's a bar at the end of the peninsula for a coffee/beer before heading back. The staff we discrete and polite and spoke good English (luckily). The breakfast was very nicely presented and served in a lovely room overlooking the sea.

Pros: Very attentive, thoughtful and helpful hosts. They made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. The homemade bread for breakfast was very tasty. We were also very grateful for the shuttle service to and from the airport.

Cons: Nothing. Everything was excellent.

Pros: The owner was very friendly! We arrived very late but this was not a problem for him.

Cons: It's not that easy to find the place at night. And something that is very important to me (but not to most) since I am very allergic to dust mites is the use of old fashioned blankets. This is still the case here. The place was very clean but the blankets are a wonderful home to dust mites, however clean they are.

Pros: We were greated with a huge smile 1 hr before check in. The gentleman carried my backpack and walked us to our room. He explained the door locks, breakfast, checkout and a beautiful coastal walk out of town. Food and cider were excellent. Staff was just superb.

Pros: Great host, excellent Camino modification to include some beach walking that you won't forget, excellent meals.

Cons: There wasn't any thing that I didn't like. I'm walking the Camino so as far as seeing beautiful vistas and adapting your Camino to include an awesome walk along Playa de Aguilar this is the spot. One caution; you are away from any other services and if you are on a budget... Just be warned this is an extravagance. I wouldn't trade my stay or my meals they were excellent. But I will be eating cheese sandwiches for a few days to help make up for it.

Pros: Very pleasant hotel with good views to the surrounding countryside and hills. Very helpful staff. We dined in the conservatory which was spacious and comfotable.

Cons: No soap in the room. I was surprised by this. Wife not working in the bedroom

Pros: What a lovely hotel. I did not expect the hotel to be as it is and it reminded me of how hotels used to be. A former religious sanctuary and orphanage the building is delightful. I had made a mistake with the booking which only became apparent at check in, but the matter was dealt with swiftly and without fuss by the very efficient and friendly receptionist who graciously supported me with my less than perfect Spanish and resisted the temptation to break into English. Thank you. When we entered our allotted room, however, it held a very strong smell of smoke. On return to reception I was gratified that the response of the receptionist was not simply generic, as she was genuinely annoyed that a previous guest could so crassly contravene the rules in her hotel. She quickly changed our room and gave us an upgrade for our trouble. The location is wonderful overlooking the surrounding countryside and Nalón river. The restaurant is surprisingly good and affordable although reservations are suggested. We did not have one and were lucky to find a table. The food quality and service was very good and wine list was excellent. We usually eschew hotel restaurants but this was a notable exception. Worth a visit even if not a guest but make a reservation. If we are in the area again we will stay longer.

Cons: I think they had forgotten to vacuum the floor as it was a bit dusty. Also the Wifi was a bit slow and the signal is a bit weak. However, this is an old stone hotel and not conducive to WiFi. Other than these, which are minor, I could not fault the place. I am always pleased to be pleasantly surprised.

Pros: The room was amazing, the bath was amazing. After a day on the cycle it was a godsend. Loved my stay there.

Pros: Room and bed were very comfortable. I enjoyed the lounge. We relaxed in the spa, enjoyed dinner. Breakfast was a good buffet with cheeses, meats, bacon and eggs. Croissant and different bread for toast. A variety of fresh fruit, yogurt and juices.

Pros: Old fashioned building on hilltop with excellent views. Nice inside atrium.

Pros: Very majestic hotel. Room was fabulous and clean. Bathroom was large with wonderful water pressure. Hotel staff were helpful and perfect spot on the Camino trail.

Cons: Very dark without any ambient lights so scary and depressing. Instead lights ONLY ever came on as you walked and triggered them. Until precisely 7:30 a.m. the breakfast room was LOCKED so it was not possible even to obtain a cup of coffee or water. Some guests have a plane to catch so options should be made available. For example, having coffee/water/tea available in the lobby, perhaps early breakfast pastries available for early flights. All would be guest friendly and appreciated. Could not find any outdoor patio or space to relax.

Pros: If you really want to know. There’s NOTHING I didn’t love about this property. Family is the way everyone is treated like family

Pros: Easy to find off the A8, the family run hotel was very friendly and full of locals using the bar. Giant croissants, freshly squeezed orange was excellent. Too tired for eating in the restaurant.

Cons: Nothing we had a large twin room which was very comfortable.

Pros: Lively caffe bar during the morning, with locals coming for breakfast. Super sympathetic lady owner and fantastic tostadas and "tapas"..

Pros: Great location near beach and just off Camino route. Host (Ramon) was very thoughtful and attentive, helped with restaurant booking and taxi for next days return to Avilas. Also ensured we had extra heaters in room when evening temp dropped. Great value and as place was quiet we were moved into suite at front from booked double. Superb!

Pros: Beautiful house, very nice decorated, good breakfast, very comfortable bed, perfect location by the beach and close to the airport. The staff is really nice, they are all very kind! In case you would like to surf, it is the perfect place to be! As well for the beginners as for advanced ones.

Cons: One of the two rooms we took was not in the same condition as the other, for example there was no door in the bathroom. WIFI did not work despite it wasn't fault of the property.

Pros: Asturias is amazing! Muros de Nalon was a very nice surprise for us. We liked the property's garden and the good taste for antique furniture and decorations; also the positive attitude of the hostes.

Cons: Our issue was that the mini rural hotel wasn't at thea beach side how it was announced: "property on the beach" and the distance was semnificative.. by car. All the rest was fine.

Cons: That the hotel uses plastic glasses instead of glass for drinking water and that there was one tiny bar of soap.

Pros: Very good location in Luanco. It is very convenient to have a walk in the village anytime. Good breakfast, however the coffee could be better! Very friendly staff. Absolutely clean rooms.

Pros: The room was perfect. Totally exceeded my expectation, since there were quite a few negative comments on booking's website. However, I loved the place. It was a wonderful stay.

Cons: The hotel has two premises, and hence there were two reception desks. One of them was easy to find, while the other was hidden in the basement. I didn't know all these until the day I left. So I had to wait for the staff during quite a long time for check-in and check-out.

Pros: Fantantastic value for money. Very unusually I'd rate this as a 3 star hotel though it is listed as 2 star. Simple but adequate breakfast included. Very helpful and friendly management with English spoken. Good location with easy walk into town. Rooms were also basic but clean and nice.

Cons: Nothing I could fairly criticise. Annoying dog next door that barks very early each morning.

Pros: Easy to find. we were happy once we got moved from our original basement room. There was a communication problem but we got that solved and we were moved to a first floor room.

I will go again, if I will be in the area.

Cons: Very limited premises. Reception in a separate building across square. Inappropriate use of basement for breakfast room. Inefficient noisy mobile air conditioning units, which also required open bedroom window! Ground floor room not fit for purpose mainly due to lack of space even for 1 (but supposedly could have accommodated 2 people), very little natural light and extra heat, apparently coming from boiler room below. Astoundingly, this was same price as 2nd floor double room overlooking square and hotel not prepared to consider discount.

Pros: Lovely, friendly small hotel in a perfect position. Close to everything. We had 2nd floor front facing room which was superb. Breakfast is well done within the cafe area and has all you need. Good coffee.

Pros: All the staff were very friendly, helpful, and efficient. Despite reception closing at 22:00 Mr. Pascual waited for me on the night I arrived until after midnight to open the front door and give me the key to the room. Really nice man Mr. Pascual and very helpful.

Pros: Warm welcome with good directions for free parking at the port (a block away). Clean comfortable room; nice bathroom. Liked the elevator. We chose the town because of it's proximity to Cabo Pena's (a must see). We were pleasantly surprised by the town and accommodation.

Cons: No complaints, but a suggestion. Be carful of your GPS instructions. There are pedestrian only streets and it sent me down one (still waiting for the ticket). If you can navigate to the port on main roads, you will be fine as that is where you park and a short walk to the hotel. I cannot fault the property for this.

Cons: The first room we checked into smelled of stale cigarette smoke so we was given another room, this was a downgraded room but we was still charged for the previous room... the room had Very thin walls listing to the room next to you snoring and coughing all night along with dogs barking in the area. So many dogs in a small area, when one starts they all start and ended up sounding like a dogs kennels. The main restaurant was closed throughout our stay, the mini bar was empty. No air con so we had to have the window open, this didn’t help with the bugs and the noise from the dogs.

Pros: The front desk clerk seemed offended that we were staying only one night. As a result we were in a room with no windows and a very low ceiling. The sir conditioner was louder than the rally cars going by. The Wifi was virtually non-existent, couldn't even check emails.

Cons: The hotel looked beautiful in a lovely town. The public areas were very nice as were the gardens. Morning breakfast was very good with lots of options.
