Located in Tropic, Bryce Canyon Inn is within a 15-minute drive of Old Bryce Town and Ebenezer's Barn and Grill. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Great and helpful staff. They gave helpful tips about finding places to eat in a season when everything shuts down early
Pros: Cabin, location, food & beer. Also peace and quiet!!
Cons: Situated in Tropic, this is the perfect place for a 1 or 2 night stay to explore Bryce Canyon National Park just some 8 miles away. The Cabins are very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Fridge, microwave & coffee & tea making facilities. We had Fried Chicken & Burgers with local beer, in the Pizza Restaurant next door. It was magic and will be back.
Pros: It was very clean and had all the conveniences that we needed.
Cons: There was nothing that negatively impacted our stay..
Pros: Close to Bryce Canyon NP and Restaurants.
Cons: Air conditioning was noisy.
Pros: Very friendly and perfect value for money
Pros: Charming lady bid us welcome! The pizza next door IS great and the breakfast was perfectly OK.
Cons: I did feel a bit exposed. Ground floor room where one had to pull the curtains or risk being peeked at by passers/by
Cons: The rooms were so cute. The coffee place had excellent drinks and pastries. They even had laundry facilities.
Pros: Super friendly staff! Great location with just 20 mins to Bryce! We woke up to catch a sunrise then come back and catch some more sleep. Loved the homey log cabin feel!
Cons: Bed could have been a little softer but we slept pretty good.
Pros: Cute cabins just a few miles from the park. Very clean. Small town but everything you need for a short stay is right there within walking distance. Also liked the fudge in fun to-go jars and the baked goods available at the coffee shop. We enjoyed our short visit.
Pros: Large, individual cabins. Clean and convenient for Bryce Canyon.
Cons: Everything was good except the housekeeping managed to forget something everyday.
Pros: It was very close in walking or driving distance in what we needed it for.
Pros: Super eager, friendly, courteous and helpful in keepers- all you could ask for really. Good breakfast choices, great advice on local hikes, clean and comfortable rooms. Patio chairs are a nice touch.
Cons: Everything was great- no critique.
With a stay at Bybee's Steppingstone Motel in Tropic, you'll be 9 mi (14.5 km) from Ebenezer's Barn and Grill and 11.3 mi (18.1 km) from Bryce Canyon National Park. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Alles was perfect.
Cons: Niets, alles was perfect in orde.
Pros: The shower was great.
Cons: The room was soo small we had difficulty manuvering all our stuff. Way too small to be comfortable.
Pros: Breakfast was not included. The facility and our unit were spotless. The owner has gone above and beyond to make the facility inviting. We loved the local restaurant that was recommended; the atmosphere and food were excellent. Your Inn and the town of Tropic is one of my favorite memories from our Utah trip.
Cons: I cannot think of anything that I did not like. Our stay was a very positive experience.
Pros: 9 room motel but thoughtfully outfitted with all the essential basics. Bybees is a prototype of how to well manage a small motel. Comfortable bed, nice shady outdoor area and chairs to relax in outside each unit.
Cons: No grab bar in bathtub
Pros: We had a great breakfast in the little restaurant adjacent to the store. Couldn't have asked for more.
Cons: Everything was wonderful.
Pros: Friendliest service, clean modern room with a cozy fee. Private feels like a separate apartment. Cute town where you walk to store and restaurants.
Pros: Nice, basic room conveniently located in the small town of Tropic. They added some unexpected amenities (breakfast bars to eat, Netflix to watch).
Pros: Small motel. Maybe 6-8 rooms. The king room was small but well thought out. Comfortable king bed, lots of good lighting, nightstands, hooks in the bathroom, stone counter food prep area, table and padded chairs. All like new and immaculately clean. They'd thought of everything. Easy parking on the property.
Cons: Can't think of anything.
Pros: There were obvious recent improvements and work done in the room. After staying at larger facilities and lugging luggage to the 3rd or 4th floor this was a nice change to quickly unload and reload.
Pros: It was clean, well equipped, a few nice restaurants within walking distance and very close to Bryce Canyon National park
Cons: Nothing, it was all good
Pros: I liked the quite, spacious room. I liked having two suitcase stands. I liked having an extra blanket.
Cons: There was nothing I did not like. I would have appreciated having liquid cream or milk for the coffee, instead of powdered cream.
Pros: The motel was small but superb for visiting Bryce Canyon. It was clean and comfortable, and although quite basic, we enjoyed it. We had a problem with our bathroom door which the guy at reception fixed quickly and without any grumbles. There’s a nice Pizza place across the road which meant we didn’t have to drive for dinner!
Cons: Reception hours were limited which meant we had to finish in Bryce a bit early to pick up the keys (although in fairness the hotel did message me with out of Hours contact information)
Offering free parking, this motel is 20 minutes' drive from Bryce Canyon National Park. Each room features a patio with mountain views. All rooms include barbecue facilities at Bryce Canyon Villas. A microwave, a small refrigerator and coffee-making facilities are also available. Trailer parking is available upon request. Bryce Canyon Airport is 21.4 km from the motel. Dixie National Forest is 50.8 km from Bryce Canyon Villas and Kodachrome Basin State Park is 11.7 km away.
Cons: Light Fixture in Cabin 2 above the sink is mounted on the right side. When I tried to shave or my wife tried to do any make-up etc... there is a huge shadow/very dark on the left side of our faces. I would mount the light above the mirror instead of the right side. Please try it yourself and see. Other than that it was nice.
Pros: The cabin was adorable. Location wasn't ideal.
Cons: The bed was a little soft, but we do prefer a firm mattress.
Pros: little things were provided that most places don't think of.
Cons: The shower did not drain properly so that the water backed out of pipes and you were standing in several inches of dirty water.
Pros: Room was clean and comfortable! Nice large shower with plenty of hot water. Was the perfect location for our needs, visiting GSENM.
Pros: The cabin is beautiful with many thoughtful touches and a huge bathroom. The property has lovely hammocks and communal seating areas as well. The host was available and responsive when needed.
Cons: It was a little further of a drive to and from Bryce Canyon than I realized, but in the end I think I preferred being in a quieter area with some great restaurants off the beaten path.
Pros: Clean, comfortable beds, quiet. Everything you need when you travel with family. Love this place.
Pros: Wonderful owners/staff. Nice enough location, close to Kodachrome and 20 minute drive to Bryce Canyon National Park. Stayed here 1 night, then 2 nights in Bryce but should have stayed here all 3 nights. Simple, but comfortable, clean, felt safe.
Pros: The property was conveniently located to Bryce Canyon and Capitol Reef. Very cozy log cabin features with mini kitchen and supplies. Comfortable beds and hospitality were excellent.
Cons: The shower did not drain quickly enough to suit me
Pros: Quiet location. Friendly staff with helpful information about local places to visit.
Cons: The kitchen only had paper plates, plastic utensils and plastic cups ( suitable for cold drinks only) I couldn't even use the microwave/coffee machine to make a hot drink. It was frustrating not to be able to utilize the kitchen amenities, the nearest restaurant/ coffee shop was about 4 miles away. I based my booking choice on the description given of the property; I figured it was OK that restaurants/shops were not close by because I would be able to make my own food in the kitchen. Disappointed.
Pros: Cute villa-very clean-thanks for the snacks!
Cons: Towels could have been updated.
With a stay at Grand Staircase Inn in Cannonville, you'll be 15.9 mi (25.6 km) from Bryce Canyon National Park and 7.2 mi (11.6 km) from Kodachrome Basin State Park. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The rooms are big and roomy. Having a store at the location was also nice
Pros: the location and the few items offered for the breakfast (coffee, chocolate, orange juice, slices of bread and yoghurt) Just an additional advice: don't waste your money going to the way overpriced and not that good Stone Hearth Grille
Pros: Terrible breakfast. New ownership is not an a good excuse.
Cons: Old smelly building, but very clean. Very poor breakfast, no milk left, almost no food.
Pros: Great location between Bryce Canyon, Grand Staircase Escalante, and Kodachrome, easy access to all of these. My daughter loved the "all in one" grocery, lodging, gas station, great TV, big beds. Staff was helpful in accommodations, recommendations, and directions.
Pros: Very large comfortable room.
Cons: The building is older and needs a few renovations.
Pros: Quick and cheerful help with minor issue. Price and microwave/ refrigerator combo.
Cons: Glad Reviews accurately described breakfast. Came with own supplies. Besides hot drinks and toast they had some yogurt cups in small fridge. Would recommend this hotel to friends that enjoy camping like us rather than need fancy accommodations
Pros: Location, there is an info /visitor center within walking distance from inn.
Cons: I would have preferred more TV news selections for current events.
Pros: The facility and room was clean but sparse. Check in was easy. Fairly good location. Well lit outside.
Cons: There is no coffee maker in the room and had to carry small styrofoam cups three flights outside to have coffee. Need room darkening/ energy efficient drapes. Kept thinking it as morning. Had to go to the store on first floor during business hours to get ice. The tv didn’t get any channels so got a lot of reading done.
Pros: The desk clerk was amazing. He helped us over and beyond his responsibility. Hotel was clean. Very good experience
Pros: Free breakfast Friendly staff
Cons: Room was old fashioned and dark Smell of damp Not big enough room for 5
Pros: Nice, clean, good size room. My wife left her retainer behind. The staff found it and sent it back to us.
Cons: The free Continental breakfast only has toasts, coffee, and juice. No pastries or cereals.
Pros: big room, quiet location, free toast and coffee/tea/juice in the morning

With a stay at Bryce Valley Lodging, you'll be centrally located in Tropic, within a 15-minute drive of Old Bryce Town and Ebenezer's Barn and Grill. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: We arrived late and had no problem due to the great attention of the people working there. Great place to stay in.
Pros: Convenient to center of town.
Pros: Comfortable beds.
Cons: Dirty blanket with a big hole in it. Tiny shower.
Cons: Mattress and bed sheets looks very old and dusty. Made my skin itchy
Pros: Nice cozy cabin.
Pros: Unique lodging that was comfortable and cozy. Easy check-in and check-out.
Pros: 15 minutes driving distance from the entrance of the park. A couple of restaurants close to the cabins.
Pros: The cabin seemed quite new and clean, with a pleasant log cabin vibe. Tiny Tropic's stores, gas, and good cafes right across the street. An easy pleasant drive from Bryce City. Check in was easy (reservation made online) and once in no problems, the fellow lodgers were nice and quiet.
Cons: The wifi was weak, just strong enough to check messages. The light/fan switches on the wall plus the remote control to the overhead fan is confusing and did not control the fan in our room, we had to pull the chains. The random loud truck rolls through town in the middle of the night but hey, that's extra atmosphere, right?
Pros: Comfy beds! Spacious and clean.
Pros: The front desk was very friendly. Some stains on the blankets. Wasps near entrance to cabin. Other than that, very comfortable.
Pros: Very clean, near all store and restaurants, very spacious.
Cons: No one folding chair at least.
Pros: The place is awesome! Thank you
Cons: The town is awesome and close to Bryce Canyon.
With a stay at Bryce Trails Bed and Breakfast in Tropic, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Old Bryce Town and Ebenezer's Barn and Grill. Featured amenities include multilingual staff and a library. Free valet parking is available onsite.
Pros: The staff were attentive to all the details. Clean, friendly, comfortable room...and only a Short distance from Bryce and Escalante parks. The breakfast was delicious and filling. Ended with fresh fruit each morning. Best of all were the friendly host and hostess. We lingered longer after breakfast each of the mornings of our stay...conversing with our new friends made at breakfast and the owners! What a great surprise for our first stay at a B&B. We would definitely come back again.
Pros: It was clean, spacious, comfortable and quiet. The beds were comfortable. The location, just a few minutes’ drive to the entrance of Bryce was excellent.
Cons: There was no choice at breakfast and the hot dish we were served was biscuits and gravy, a very unhealthy dish not to everyone’s taste. Many of us at the table chose to leave it in favor of the yogurt and fruit dish, which was good, but not a big breakfast.
Pros: Tasty breakfast every morning!
Pros: It was a delightful oasis after a day of hiking at Bryce Canyon National Park. The breakfasts were outstanding. The room (Navajo loop) was spacious and comfortable.
Pros: Our room, the Navaho Loop, was spacious clean and authentically decorated. The futon bed comfortably slept my teenage son. The breakfast was delicious. Best of all out host was very welcoming and recommended great restaurant hiking trials and scenic drives. This place was great.
Pros: The good quality products in the room including tea / coffee. The fridge was a great addition too. Recommended a bbq restaurant called IDK BBQ.
Cons: I thought it was a little bit expensive for location and room but perhaps that's just due to the area.
Pros: This was our favorite accomodation on our road trip through Southern Utah. We loved the location (and sunsets), the spacious room with everything we needed, and an amazing breakfast! Would recommend to all!
Pros: Easy to get to and lovely views! Breakfast was delicious and perfect for a day of hiking.
With a stay at Americas Best Value Inn Bryce Canyon in Tropic, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Old Bryce Town and Ebenezer's Barn and Grill. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Proximity to Bryce Canyon NP
Cons: Room smelled a little musty and parking was limited. The overall experience was slightly above average.
Pros: Nice breakfast, good location to Bryce National Park. Nice evening talk Saturday by manager and former park ranger.
Cons: Unable to check in 1 hour early. When checking out had to request copy of bill.
Pros: Hotel is very close to Bryce Canyon. Very little time spend on driving.
Cons: Rooms are ok, but not very spacious or luxurious.
Cons: Breakfast area was so congested and we had to wait on line for everything.
Pros: Stuff was great. Good BF. The room has excelect facilities.
Cons: A little Expensive
Pros: Great location!
Pros: Compared to other accommodation options in the area, this was a very affordable choice. Rooms were standard size as expected. It's a very small town, so you can work anywhere you wanted even in the intense heat.
Cons: Even though this was a non-smoking hotel, our room had an odor of cigarettes. The cleaning service was erratic - when we asked not to clean the room they did enter and cleaned a very selective potion of the room; when we asked to clean the room they just made the beds. One of our beds was very squeaky which made sleeping uncomfortable. Breakfast had a poor selection, breads were microwave-heated before serving.
Pros: The beds were comfortable, everything was clean. Nice views.
Pros: The location was perfect, just a short drive to Bryce Canyon national park.
Pros: Position, Laundry 24h, fast check out
Pros: Sheets were cozy
Cons: It was cold and there was not an extra blanket in the room
Pros: We wanted to visit Bryce Canyon but the lodging near the canyons were full, so we decided to try the next town Tropic. We loved our stay here at ABV! Getting to Bryce Canyon was easy and convenient (just 12 mi away!) - and you get to stay in a nice quiet friendly town! Loved the Inn's towels and toiletries! The breakfast was great too!
