Pros: Great and helpful staff. They gave helpful tips about finding places to eat in a season when everything shuts down early
Pros: Super eager, friendly, courteous and helpful in keepers- all you could ask for really. Good breakfast choices, great advice on local hikes, clean and comfortable rooms. Patio chairs are a nice touch.
Cons: Everything was great- no critique.
Pros: Spacious, well cared for cabins in a quaint, small village close to the entrance to Bryce Canyon.
Bryce Canyon Inn is a great choice for a stay in Tropic. Guests looking for a bite to eat can check out The Pizza Place, which serves pizza and is open for lunch and dinner. Bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves are offered in all rooms, along with flat-screen TVs and free WiFi.
Pros: A pretty standard rural motel. It was clean and comfortable on our trip to Bryce Canyon.
Cons: Nothing to dislike. It was as expected.
Pros: The room was clean and spacious, with two king-size beds. Staff was very friendly. Free ice for the ice chest was included. And it was unexpectedly environmentally responsible, with recycling and ground-fed heating and cooling.
Cons: It's hard to fault this hotel, yet it feels somewhat overpriced for its location, being a good 15-20 minute drive from Bryce Canyon.
Pros: Nice room, clean but dates furnishings. Helpful clerk on checking and a light breakfast was included.
Cons: Apparently I didn't pay enough attention to the map. We were touring Bryce Canyon and couldn't get a room there but thought this would be close enough. The drive was workable but not preferable. I will need to be more attentive next time!
Bryce Canyon Livery Bed & Breakfast is a great choice for a stay in Tropic. Guests looking to stay active can check out the nearby hiking/biking trails, and free perks include WiFi, self parking, and full breakfast daily. There's a garden, and rooms offer flat-screen TVs and refrigerators.
Pros: The cabins were a nice change from a hotel and a cute idea.
Cons: It was ok that there was no closet, but some hooks on the wall to hang coats or clothes would have been nice. Also, the shower head was at an awkward angle. An adjustable one would have been better, or one directly overhead. All in all, we enjoyed it very much.
When visiting Tropic, Bryce Valley Lodging is a great choice to consider. Free perks include WiFi and self parking. Cabins feature bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves, along with patios and flat-screen TVs.
Pros: Host was very nice.
Cabin was clean and a much better value than any other cabin options closer to the National Park.
Pros: Staff was very nice.
Cons: We had to ask for ice every time we needed it. Room needed microwave and small fridge. No sound proofing between rooms and so one would have to be very quiet so as to not wake our neighbors. Hence, adults only would only be acceptable,
Pros: Cute place. It's an older style motel room with obviously aging furniture and bathroom fixtures, but it had everything we needed on our one-night stay on the way to Bryce Canyon. It's definitely the best value in the area as it's only a 15 minute drive from Bryce Canyon for much cheaper than the options in Bryce itself.
I recommend the Pizza Place for dinner - they have an excellent dough recipe that apparently takes 3 days to make!
Cons: There is no mini fridge
Pros: Was lucky to make reservation the day before. Only about seven miles from Bryce Canyon park. Motels nearer were 2-3 Times more in price. we just needed a clean place with wi-fi connection. Not sure what else was available.
