8.8 Excellent
Pros: Everything else was beautiful! Caretaker was very nice, great views, very clean everywhere else. Close enough to grocery or restaurants, plenty of things to do.
Cons: To cold to go to hot tub outside so figured I would use the spa tub in bathroom. It was nice until you turn on the jets, here come chunks of black stuff...yuck!
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: The suite that we stayed in was incredibly comfortable. I believe most people would find it the same. We felt right at home here.
Cons: I have no negative comments.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: I like how clean everything was & there was cream and coffee that was a great thing to have to start off the morning. Bed was very comfortable.
Cons: It's a bummer that we could not smoke in or outside. It was also kind of weird how the hot tub was brought up. I could suggest a humidifier as it is very dry.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Looking for something more than a traditional hotel try a cabin! Rocky Mountain gave me what I was hoping for...a clean quaint cabin just 5 miles from Manitou Springs Colorado. Looking forward to booking a honeymoon suite when completed in Feburary.

Pros: Cottage was clean and very cute. Was very comfortable and loved the home made cookies.
Cons: Was creaky could hear you going up and down the stairs to use the bathroom in the middle of the night.

Pros: Beautiful hotel, great food in the restaurants, staff was very nice and helpful.
Cons: Unfortunately for the staff, booking.com and their systems did not mesh well, but they fixed the problem and the stay was wonderful.
7.0 Good
Pros: Great breakfast! Bed very comfortable. Staff helpful.
Cons: Extra costs - prices advertised not comparable to other properties since, although "free breakfast" and "free wifi" advertised. everyone has to pay a $20 service fee for breakfast, wifi, turn-down (who needs?) and fitness facilities (not used). Also, even though the hotel has a parking station on-site (largely unoccupied during our stay), unavailable unless you use valet parking ($15 + tip). Advice on how to park on the street was very vague and not very helpful.

Pros: The Cliff House is a gem. I've stayed a couple of times and I'll continue to go back. Oldest operating hotel in the state; it makes me feel even closer to home as a native Coloradoan.

2.0 Mediocre
Pros: The location is beautiful. The tendency to overcharge for potential expenditures is a desperate attempt to capture any revenue, but its a nickel and dime and does not convey long term confidence.
Cons: Additionally, the is a pervasive condescension by the restaurant management which works contrary to the image of a solid restaurant, rather it come off as petty and unwelcoming. We will not be returning.

Cons: The only issue was the shower handle came off. Had maintenance staff remount & tighten down with allen wrench. But the handle came back off again. We were able to still use the shower. 9.0 Excellent
Pros: On our 1st night we stayed in #109. The bathroom is the cleanest, brightest, whitest bathroom I've experienced away from home in a very long time. The cleanliness was beyond what I expected. The front desk staff was very friendly, accommodating and gave quick response to our requests. The 2nd and 3rd night we stayed in the jacuzzi room, again very clean. This was a couples get-away for us and that HUGE jacuzzi tub was perfect! It does take a little while to fill the tub, so plan accordingly, This is one of our favorite escapes and we will return many more times. It is conveniently located and the views are amazing!

Pros: I enjoyed the amazing scenery looking towards Manitou Springs and the mountains all around. I came at the same time a storm swept pass leaving a blanket of snow everywhere in sight. Pros: We stayed one night while hiking the Incline, and enjoyed The property. Breakfast was fantastic and our hosts, and the other guests we met, were very nice.
Cons: The parking can be challenging in a small town.
4.0 Okay
Pros: The staff was very nice. The breakfast was great. The building is beautiful.
Cons: There was no actual bathroom in our room. Having an open toilet 5 feet from the bed was incredibly uncomfortable. We were also on vacation and hadn’t planned on having to get up so early in order to get our food.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved our stay at the Avenue Hotel B&B. Beforehand we were going to stay for three nights, but due to unfortunate circumstances we had to change it to only a single night. Fortunately they only charged us a 25$ fee for cancelling two nights, which was really a relief on our side. We arrived in Manitou Spring around noon and were happy that the hosts were already able to check in our Luggage while we would go to the Garden of the Gods. Getting back we got a little introduction to everything, and a complimentary homemade cookie and a glass of wine. We enjoyed them both on the porch looking out on the garden, which was lovely and relaxing. Our room was great, we had our bathroom in-suite hidden behind a curtain, which was really funny and we knew this ahead. Breakfast the next morning was really great, with two courses and having a chance to talk to the fellow guests. After checking out we were able to leave our car for an extra three hours until we left for Denver.
Cons: The only thing that bothered us was the air/AC that makes quite some noice above the bed and continued on switching on during the night. I know this is an old house, so we appreciated the earplugs that were on our nightstand.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a lovely, lovely bed and breakfast. The innkeeper is an amazing woman. The rooms are beautiful, and the food is delicious. This is a perfect getaway. We felt pampered in our home away from home.
Cons: Everything was perfect!

7.5 Good
Pros: Check in lady was nice. Location is good.
Cons: The lodge is seriously decrepit. I had booked room 23, was "upgraded" to cabin 16. The cabin was shabby, marginally clean. No closet, worn linens and towels. WiFi too weak to connect.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We loved the atmosphere. Built in the 1920's and a lot was original. Very quaint and fun for our first night in Colorado. The owner checked us in and was so fun and gracious. I enjoyed chatting with her.
Cons: The ONLY thing we didn't like was in the bathroom. The shower handle had a few issues. The main one being that the screw fell out as you turned it on or off. But my husband put it back in. Otherwise all was well. We loved it.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This is not your standard hotel, each room is only attached to one other room. Almost like a small condo etc. Very nice, you don't hear multiple doors opening throughout the evening. You don't have a door that connects you to the next room etc. Hands down the best location, atmosphere around. Also helps that they are pet friendly.
Cons: Only two things. Should have thicker garbage bags as it seems ours ripped and would be a pain to throw away in am for the cleaning people. Another would be, we had 3 lights in the room but we could only get the one next to the front door to work. The one on the table and next to the bed wouldn't work. Not a bad thing as we made it work.

4.2 Okay
Pros: The swimming pool was great once we strained the bugs off the top of water.
Cons: Old musty smell in closet, small bath with no place to put toiletries, no outlets for charging electronics, uncomfortable couch in room, no close restaurants on a Monday night.
