Nice big room with all amenities.
Didnt have view of mount Etna as promised and didnt have tea/coffee making facilities.
These are all things i didn't like about the hotel: Impatient front desk staff but that may be because they were short of staff and the long queues. for a hotel claiming to be 5 star looked a bit tired. Bedroom wall lights nearly coming off the wall. Some desk lamps not working. Wall paper peeling away from the bathroom wall. The room phone did not work. Only one computer with small screen to access internet - for a fee and this took 10 -15 minutes to connect.
no hot water in the morning
excelent room & breakfast.
not much information readily available on tours etc, had to ask at reception.
i like the design of the hotel. its my type 100 %. the rooms are very nicee...beautiful andd clean and i found a lot of people smiling and help you alot. the breakfast was very good excelent service and everything clear in the kitchen there is nothign i can say negative and sure im coming again next time
1 thing i don't like.. aspecially in the night i found... i got there about 3 am in the morning and i found a man and asked me if i was a resident there and he didnt belived me and had to check in the computer ..
We asked for another room on our second day (as it had a rather unpleasant smell) and were given a much better room.
All 4 of us found the pillows very hard and uncomfortable. One of our party asked for a softer pillow but the replacement was no better.
big room, nice bath
bad smell in the room, despite parfume diffusor
the telephone system was out of order
Location was convenient. Good parking, which is a rarity in Italy sometimes. Safe to walk to other areas of the city.
I thought the carpet was very shabby, stained, and worn out. It made a beautiful hotel loose some appeal.
Nothing in particular; advertised as five star hotel but in reality does not offer what is expected in "five star" hotels.
On arrival there was no body to help with our lugage. We had to drag it from the taxi to the loby. Air conditioning of the "suite" was not working; staff at the fornt desk refused to move us ot a diferent suite or room; It toke three days to get the air conditioning working after complaining repeatedly. Hotel's personel very un-professionaly and not corteous at all in general; there were very few exempitions; never had this experience in Five Star Hotels.
