10.0 Excellent
Pros: Andreas was an excellent hosted , providing me with an excellent greeting and then tips on the best places to go in Catania. The apartment exceeded my expectations , clean , quiet , comfortable and walking distance to the main Via Etna. Andreas also helped to book a trip to Mount Etna for me.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was lovely. The bed was ok, a bit hard. The room was very clean. Lovely host, he did his best to help us and solve some of the issues with the wifi and he was very friendly and lovely. He understood that our flight was delayed and waited for us. A mini fridge and tea making facilities with lovely free water was available so much appreciated that as it was very warm when we were there. The air conditioning was good. Location was great, very close to Guifrido train station (underground metro train station) about 4 minutes walk to the metro train station.
Cons: The sink was too close to the toilet. The wifi did not work upstairs at all, awful! We had to stand right at the front door for the wifi to work at all! Would have liked to have laid down or sat down comfortably to use wifi. Please put a modem in each room would be better. The air conditioning took a bit of time to work out to get it to the way we needed it, not too cold or too warm.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place is in a lovely little street, the kitchen was nice and the bathroom was clean. Had a great time in Ortigia.
Cons: Can't say that anything bothered us. Was a nice stop along our way.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful place with nice terrace. It's 15-20 minutes walking distance from the city centre. You have parking places (blue line) in the surroundings and there is a supermarket too.
Cons: The bedroom and TV are upstairs while kitchen and table are downstairs so you cannot whatch TV while you are eating.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Andrea met us on arrival, checked us in and provided lots of useful information about the area and things to do in Catania. The apartment is a good size and has good standard facilities, and the outside courtyard is very charming - wished we had more time to sit out there!
Cons: The location is a short walk away (10-15 minutes) from the centre of Catania and the picturesque old town. The walk to that area is fine and feels relatively safe even at night. However, I don't recommend walking the direct route between here and Catania Centrale station - we did it first when we arrived in Catania by train, and also the next day to take the bus to Etna. The area is very run down, and Andrea advised us to avoid it at night. If you want to walk I suggest a slightly longer detour via the old town and water front to avoid those streets.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect. The studio was airy and had everything you would need (plus really nice coffee!). Andrea, the host, was very welcoming and always at reach in case you needed some help. Would definitely recommend this place.

Eco Hostel - Catania - Bedroom
7
9.4 Excellent (95 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Located in Catania (Old Town), Eco Hostel is within a 10-minute walk of Catania Cathedral and Elephant Fountain. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: nice breakfast, friendly staff, location close to historic center and bus station.
7.5 Good
Pros: The staffs are friendly The biggest bed I have ever used in hostels. Great breakfast and common area. Clean room and location.
Cons: So first of all, we arrived at the hostel around 2 but since check-in time was 3, we walked around the city and came back around 5. But when we came, the staff said THE ROOM IS NOT READY(what?). The staff said 30-60mins so we said we will wait bit it actually took about 80mins. Secondly, the arranged beds were not in the same condition with the other beds. The main reason I chose this hostel was due to the curtain to have some privacy. But apparently, here were only two beds without the curtains which were ours. Also it was right under the windows which was not horizontally cut so we had less room than other beds. Besides, the windows did not have a curtain to shut the sunshine so we had to become an early bird. And some beds had safe box next to the bed ambut some didnt. There were only one closet and one drawer for 8 people. ** So I looked up booking.com and for some dates the beds we used were priced little less than others. But some of the days it just shows the room(not the specific unfair bed). And Im pretty sure we didnt pay less(might a little for booking early, not for the use of specific bed).So when u are unlucky, you will be using beds not as good as others, paying the same. Also, the rooms are all in second floor but bathrooms and toilets are on the first. So if you want to use toilets at midnight, you have to take the key with u and go downstairs. Of course when you want to take a shower, you have to bring everything and go on a journey to the bathroom. Lastly, the reception staff’s english wasnt good enough. She gave us false information. She firstly said like “its a female dorm so dont forget to always lock the door”. So even though we originally knew its a mix dorm but since she said , we expected only female in the room. But when we came back, found a bunch of guys(which some more privacy became more important but apparently we didnt have).
9.3 Excellent
Pros: I received a great welcome and tips. The guys gave me a cigarette even. The design is cool and the bathrooms are well equipped. The room was big and pretty clean. The breakfast was really nice, good juices, cheese etc. The lady serving it is also very hospitable. Overall, it is a cool place and I am happy to have started my journey in Sicily with Eco. I enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere after a long journey.
Cons: The booking process: I saw that the price included all taxes and charges, and on arrival was asked to pay the city tax. Also, the whole issue with room categories and number of beds is somehow misleading. And the bathroom is not in the room, it is next to reception.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Extremely nice environment with an amazing common area, a lot of facilities like table tennis, video games, board games. 5.5 Okay
Pros: The B&B is very centrally located. That is all the positive thing I can say about it.
Cons: 1. The owner changed the address of the facility but never informed us. It took us (both sixty plus) almost two hours with two large suitcases to find the B&B facility. The actual B&B where he made us stay was named differently (B&B Catania Etna) and was located at a different address (via Etnea, 198) than the address provided through 'booking.com'. A photo of the property front is attached here. 2. The owner does not accept any credit cards for payments. 3. The room was stuffy and the a/c didn't work properly.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: The owner/s couldn't do enough for us. In spite of our very limited Italian, they managed to explain so much to us, recommended a local (ie for locals) restaurant which we really enjoyed and explained all about how to climb mount Etna, even giving us tokens entitling us to free lunch at the cable-car top.

The beds are perfect, the rooms high and spacious and the toilet ant shower on the corridor is not a problem at all. Breakfast is delicious. If necessary you can park your car close by.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Owner hospitality
Cons: Check in process, we spent 2 hours to wait in the street in order to check in.There is no reception at the apartment, you need to call minimum to hours before check in or inform in advance owner, overall everything is good except difficulty in check in Also apartment is needed in renovation every old finished Also a bit uncomfortable external bathroom, by the way it is mentioned in the apartment description during booking process, just to be informed

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location, friendly host, comfortable bed and spacious room.
Cons: Private bathroom separate from room. Cramped breakfast space.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: How central it was, the room had high ceilings and had a lovely view of the street below. Very clean
Cons: I am not a fan of an External bathroom but that is simply due to the age of the house, Not really a negative.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We have booked this place based on good recommendations, but it is not even close to the reality. In a short distance from piazza Duomo, fish market and all what is about to see in the city. It is home away from home and Teresa, the owner is conducting it all. From the entrance, we could feel her touch to every detail, she have traveled a lot around and this is shown on the beautiful accessories decorating the whole place. The room is actually 2 rooms, a master bedroom and a living room with a kitchen. High amazing ceilings, fishbone wooden floor combined with decorated ceramic tiles. The room is very spacious and clean. Large high wooden doors take you to two small balconies with beautiful flowers. The breakfast is served in the kitchen and it is like you are sitting in your own dining table at home. All food is organic, huge selection and all is tasty. If we will come back again to Catania, no doubt- we are returning here. Thank you Teresa for making it an amazing memorable vacation
Cons: nothing ! it was all just perfect
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our host was warm and welcoming and gave us helpful information. The room was beautiful and spacious with a lovely balcony. The breakfast (included) was plentiful and delicious. The location was perfect. When I return to Catania (fingers crossed because it's a surprising gem of a city), my first choice would be to stay here.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Crociferi is in a great location for exploring the vibrant city of Catania. Teresa was exceptionally helpful with advice about travel from the airport and local attractions. The rooms were lovely and full of character. Breakfast around the table with other guests was great fun.
Cons: Nothing.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Room comfortable and very clean. Terese the owner and her husband are lovely. Great trattoria downstairs La Deliziosa. Very early flight to Rome, Terese packed a breakfast for us which kept us going nearly all the way home to Melbourne.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was comfortable, big and nicely furnished. The breakfast was extensive and had lots of options to chose from. Teresa was kind and welcoming. We only stayed for one night but we had a very nice stay.
6.3 Good
Pros: The location, and the parking within the property, though one is charged 10 euros per day for use thereof
Cons: The cheaper rooms on the first level have their bathrooms outside the room, across the hall, and have air conditioners whose thermostats can't be controlled by the "renter". The upper floor rooms are much spacier with bathroom inside. Ours had a kitchen, but a stove/oven that wasn't to be used, and no plates, pots, utensils etc.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice location and very cute room
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice atmosphere, perfect location

Pros: The immediate surroundings are perhaps typical of some of the back-street areas of Catania, however, the Liberty Hotel is an absolute real GEM. It offers tranquillity, with a wonderful welcoming and restful ambience. Having said that, the staff are so friendly, helpful and personable, who take 'service' to another level. Around the corner within just a few minutes walk are excellent local restaurants serving great fresh food and hospitality. The main square for buses, - inc. Overview Reviews
Located in Catania (Picanello-Ognina-Barriera-Canalicchio), Venere B&B is within a 5-minute drive of Via Etnea and Piazza Stesicoro. Free self parking is available onsite.
6.8 Good
Pros: friendly and helpful staff
Cons: The photo on booking.com gave the impression we would be over looking the sea from a beautiful balcony. The plant is actually covering the fact that it overlooks a supermarket carpark and a static funfair. we asked to change rooms so we had a balcony which they did eventually do. The outside of the building was not really a welcoming sight. Just not what I thought I was getting when I booked but it was pleasant enough in the end.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cleanliness, comfort, breakfast .. all excellent we would recommend the B&B
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice breakfast with fresh cakes baked by the hostess. Clean and cosy rooms. Rooms have a nice view of the sea and are close to the beach.
Cons: Windows face the Nettuno park with noisy attractions and loud music till late night.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Room and breakfast nice but not a great location at all very nondescript indeed and local restaurants mediocre. Go along the coast to Taormina instead.
Cons: The manager was so rude to me for not being able to find the correct entrance based on a rough pencil diagram she sent me .The hotel is basically a few rooms in a corridor in an apartment block set in between other identical apartment blocks hence very difficult to find the correct one. She kept screaming down the phone it's simple it's simple. When I found the correct building and arrived at the 5th floor she was yelling at me before she even got to the door that I had used the wrong lift. I had been struggling having an obviously broken wrist in a cast and this was the last straw .When I got to the room her awful manner actually unbelievably led me to just break down in tears in front of her which is not something I am prone to doing as a nurse working in critical care. I cannot recommend this place and this appallingly rude woman does not deserve anyone's custom.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The host, Sandra, was extremely friendly and very helpfull. It felt like she invited you to be a part of her family for some time. We were sad that we had to dissapoint her due to some mistakes from out side.
Cons: Everything was good. The only thing that could have been was for the Channel rai 2 to work well so Tour de France could have been enjoyed some more - but hey, that is a luxuary problem!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: ...exactly how I was expecting! even if it was a bit of a noisy night on Saturday, it was a delight to see and feel the charming locals in "their way" My frist trip to Italy. The second will start in the same place!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was amazing. The atention to the detail in everything, including the breakfast and the amenities in the room.. Definitely recomend to anyone who wants a really pleasant stay in catania. A safe place not far from the city center, with a sea view from the room, private parking. The hostess Mrs.Sandra was very kind and helpful all the time
Cons: Nothing could have been better
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The host is amazing, friendly and cooperant, gives very good recommendations (and we ate the best ricotta ever)! The cleaningness is very good! Ciao Sandra!!! :)
Cons: The facade of the building could be improved, has nothing to do with the cleaningness and nice host Sandra that awaits you inside.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, incredibly friendly hostess and the breakfast was excellent A very pleasant place to stay.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Mr. Carmelo and his brother with the staff Christian were very helpful and nice. The location of B&B is more than perfect ( city centre) . With all my heart we recomend this accomodation.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The friendliness of the host. Carmelo was very welcoming.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: the location is great and the owners very friendly and helpfull
10.0 Excellent
Cons: The breakfast could be better.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Lovely room in an old Palacio but with modern facilities. For breakfast you get a voucher to use in a v nice cafe 50 meters away. . Coffee, juice, brioche.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Located a block away from the University square!! Book this B&B and you will not be disappointed!!! Our group stayed in 3 of the four rooms available. Each room can comfortably fit 5 people and maybe 6 if one person uses the foldable cot. The rooms are like a “loft style”. If you have small children just make sure they don’t climb the stairs to the upper part of your room. Bathroom is clean. There is a refrigerator but make sure it’s plugged in as they don’t plug it in 24/7 to save energy. Check in was easy even if we arrived in the evening. Beds are firm but still comfortable. Parking is on the street - we had problems with this but our host accommodated to help us! Food options and restaurants are just a few steps away. Fun fact: Bellini, the music composer, worked in this building!!! Our host told us this fact... Very cool!
Cons: There’s no elevator so if you have big luggages, you’d have to bring it up 3 flights of stairs.. the B&B is located on the 2nd floor.
7.5 Good
Pros: The location
Cons: Parking was difficult
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Carmelo greeted us and helped carry our suitcases up the stairs. It is on the 2nd floor. He was so lovely and welcoming. I stayed with my husband and 6 year old son and we felt the room was big enough. It had double windows that block out any street noise. It is in the best location with everything right outside your door. The room was so clean! It was absolutely spotless. I was so impressed because I am O.C.D! Not a spec of dust to be seen. Breakfast was good. Got a pastry, juice and coffee per person and it is at a cafe just down stairs in the square. Would highly recommend and if we are ever in Catania again we will be back for sure!! Thank you Carmelo
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Hotel is in the ideal spot exactly in the heart of Catania; very close to all shops and amenities. The host Carmelo was very nice, available at all times and very efficient. Room was clean and tidy with daily cleaning routines. Christian was very gentle and assisted us when we needed. Thank you. Keep up the good work.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, and noise reduction windows extremely efficient. The bar for which we received vouchers for breakfast was excellent (delicious pastries and good coffee).
Cons: We found the bed and pillows extremely hard and uncomfortable. I had back-ache after 2 nights. There is a coffee machine in the entrance, for which capsules need to be bought at reception. This was not indicated, and it was lucky I noticed the machine and asked at check-in. Guests should be informed of this option at check-in.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great owners, very friendly and dedicated to the guests. You can count on them in every matter. Super breakfast, great location. Greetings for the owners. Next time in Catania we would stay at your B&B for sure!
Cons: Everything was great!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Convenient location between the city center and the train/bus station, near to an airport bus stop. Rich breakfast buffet in a spacious terrace. The single room was spacious with a great bathroom. Rosario was very kind and helpfull.
Cons: Very old building although with a special character. The matress was a bit uncomfortable. The cleanliness needs something more.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Nice little family B$B run by two friendly and helpful guys. Really nice place for the price--flat screen, air conditioning, everything brand new. Breakfast was great--in a surprisingly ornate room covered in frescoes. Centrally located. Highly recommended.
Cons: I stayed in one of the attic rooms, which had a giant head-bumping beam at about 5'9". Wi-Fi was pretty iffy, although they did their best to get it working.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic b&b, with a great host who couldn’t do enough for us. Five minutes walk from the railway station and one minute from the centre.
Cons: Nothing.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Around 10 mins walking from the main bus/train stop from where all buses go. Inside the b&b area everything seems to be very nice and cosy, good internet connection, lovely and helpful staff.
Cons: The neighborhood is not really clean, pretty dirty even the building itself is not looking very nice, but once you get inside, you feel like you re in a different place.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff was really helpfull, room was good decorated and new when you consider with the building age. Breakfast was really good. Short walk distance to train station.
Cons: The surrounding area was not that great :) also the building is too old and no elevators.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The host Christian was charming, and took the time to tell us some very interesting history about Catania in general and the b and b in particular. The room was very large, and although modern, had a high decorated ceiling that made one feel as though sleeping in a palace. The breakfast was wonderful!
Cons: The exterior of the building and stairway to the b&b are in very poor condition and the street outside reflects the poverty of parts of Sicily.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly host who was most accommodating. Excellent breakfast. Although B&B was on the 3rd floor, the steps leading up were very wide for hauling up the luggage. The beautiful paintings on the ceiling were a nice touch to the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very nice, they waited for us because we were late. Room looked new and was clean, breakfast was absolutely OK. Hotel is located close to the downtown, just few minutes walk.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The guys who work there are very nice, breakfast is super ok, the rooms nicely renovated, cleaning done daily, if the building itself would be eventually renovated it would be lovely. Not the fanciest neighbourhood indeed, the other buildings need a bit of renovating as well, but the people seem ok, we've had no incidents . :)
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable modern rooms
Cons: Probably not suitable for children
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff was excelent! Very helpful Room was very nice, clean and quiet. Location is good, 10 minutes walking to the historial center. 7 minutes from the central station if you are coming with the bus from the airport.
Cons: Surroudings and the building are a little bit odd. Felt some kind of insecurity there. Better if you go with people and not walk during the night. But, Catania is decadent and most of the neighborhoods are the same, so no need to worry in excess as is just a perception and nothing really happens.

With a stay at Liodoro Bed and Breakfast, you'll be centrally located in Catania, steps from Greek-Roman Theatre and 3 minutes by foot from Elephant Fountain.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Just a short walk away from everything you need to see in Catania. Very kind and accommodating staff.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Everything perfect
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The morning Italian coffee was amazing. Also the staff even if they did not speak fluently English, they were very nice and disposable to their guest at any time and for any additional service (eg. booking a morning taxi, short presentation of local attraction, etc)
Cons: Pillows needs changing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I received answers to my messages promptly. We asked for extra facilities and we got them. The atmosphere of the place is authentic.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: I loved my stay at Liodoro. The place is basic and comfy, but Simona in particular was great. The night I arrived, the taxi Simona had ordered for me broke down, so I was in a bit of a tizz and had to get one myself when mine didn’t arrive. Simona was here waiting, had sent me messages to let me know what was going on, and organised fruit and biscuits as a snack because it was too late for dinner. She was so kind. Liodoro is in a brilliant location right near Piazza Mazzini. Her husband Luciano was also very helpful. They are good hosts.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location in an elegant building, pretty big room, helpful owner who assisted us in arrangement of the tour to Etna+Taormina, fresh and varied breakfast. Feel so comfort like at home.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great variety breakfast with pastries, cheese, meats, cereal, etc. Location was the best you could get in Catania, walk everywhere...even the central train station was only 15 minute walk. Great restaurants, farmers market, shopping, all walking distance. Bottle of wine and wine glasses were provided in fridge upon arrival, very nice! Very spacious room with high ceilings. Quiet room, considering it looked over a busy street. Balcony off of dining was a delight in the evenings with our wine watching the people below. Loved that it has a secure large door to the courtyard/building of the property. The building is beautiful. Good, fast, reliable internet. Excellent arrival response and easy check-in.
Cons: There needs to be reliable lighting in the stairway at night Bed was not too comfy There were no tables or counters for toiletries and accessories in the room or bathroom, just a small desk in the room and a small round chair in the bathroom. There is nowhere to hang clothes, only a couple of hangers that were on the mirror. The room really needs a clothes closet and/or dresser. The booking ad said daily room service, but we were there 3 nights and never had any. The booking said it included toiletries, but there was only body wash, and no shampoo. The shower didn't drain properly and filled up with water. I had to stop the shower to keep it from running over.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great. The apartment is located in the city center, there are meny restaurants near by. The room was better and larger than we expected. And very clean.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent B&B! Clean, spacious, and comfortable rooms. Strong wi-fi. Great staff who are very helpful and serve an incredible breakfast. Great downtown location in walking distance to the Piazza and Cathedral.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very big rooms .. very friendly.. they text you a message what time you will come .. and all instructions how to go in the room..you have everything in the room.. and the bathroom.. not far by walk from the cathedral and the big shopping street .. like 2min-3 walking.. when you are in the central station take like 18min walk .. and when you go to the airport .. the bus stop 2 streets down like 5min walk

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice staff
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location is kind of strategic for moving around. Fairly close to bus/train station/underground.
Cons: Poor breakfast. Broken shower door and faulty outside window shutters. Uncomfortable pillows. Staff were never around.
7.5 Good
Pros: The place is clean, the location is central and close to public transport, the price is OK. Everything is basic, but functional. Very nice view from the window. We arrived after midnight and were received OK.
Cons: It is not easy to find the place. There is no sign at the entrance to the building - you have to look for the name of the property in the list of tenants (10 mm letters...) and to ring the right bell...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The whole stay was great! Our host was very kind and gave us a tour of the city at our arrival and the cleaning lady was also very nice and hard working! Definitely would recommend and come back!
8.8 Excellent
Cons: We arrived on Thursday. We couldn't have breakfast neither on Friday nor on Saturday morning. On friday we went to Etna so we wanted to have breakfast early, but at 7:15 the bakery was not open (host said, we can go there from 7 am) and on Saturday it was closed all day.
7.0 Good
Pros: The staff was very friendly and courteous. For example, they’ve waited way after midnight for us to check in. Breakfast was normally between 8:00 and 10:00. But if you’d came after 10:00 they would provide coffee. And even there was a Language barrier they’ve tried their best to fulfil our needs.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Althought the host did not speak english we understood each other pretty well. The breakfast snd coffee from coffeemaker was amazing! Would definitely stay again!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: excellent quality and selection. attention to cleanliness and detail by staff
9.1 Excellent
Pros: The hotel looks very new, nice lobby and remodeled rooms and bathrooms. The room was very small, the location was great, as long as you walk left when you get out of the hotel (if you go right you'll find lots of hookers, waiting, sitting on plastic chairs, i'm not joking). Great restaurants within 1 block, friendly staff.
7.0 Good
Pros: Spacious rooms, great breakfast
Cons: Noise from the road at night
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Parking easy and just around the corner. Staff were very nice, very helpful. The bathroom was spotlessly clean. The bar area was comfortable with lots of seating.
Cons: The lift was broken for part of our stay, I had an fractures wrist and we struggled to find the right stairs to use. I wasn’t keen on the curtained drapes over the bed.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Close to the center
6.8 Good
Pros: Staff was the best. Very friendly and helpful, always smiling
Cons: Fitness centre was just a fake. No air condition and threadmill did not work The terrace was a mess, could make more out of it Air condition lived its own life, cold in the mornings even though I turned it off at night Balcony is a joke Ear plugs saved my sleep, city is not quiet at night
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location of the hotel was central. The rooms were comfortable. The staff were very polite and helpful. The breakfast was very good.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: the breakfast is not very complete. no more croissants at 9:30. eggs sunny side up not included. this is this only negative. the rest was excellent and the staff is adorable.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The barman/sommelier Antonio, was fantastic. He was quick, attentive and gave great service. He was also very interesting to talk to, and offered excellent advice on places to visit.
Cons: I never quite mastered the secrets of the air conditioning. No matter what setting I tried, it seemed to have a mind of its own. We'd be sweating all night long, then when we had finished breakfast and were going out for the day, it would come on of its own accord, to cool down an empty room! Still I guess the maid was comfortable.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Room was large, architecture and furniture are beautiful. The staff was very kind. Breakfast was good.
Cons: We asked for a silent room and were not assigned one. The toilet was getting stuck, the hotel although right next to the via Etnea and the heart of Catania sits on a quite ugly and dirty street.

Pros: Very nice and helpful staff! I need theirs advice and they have the patience and professionalism to give us. Understanding for a late check out, maps and information offering, flight tickets listing. I remembered only a name of receptionist, Mrs Annarita, but the same her colleagues are very processional. Congratulate for management! The breakfast good, with a large kind of products. The rooms clean, good conditions for long time staying. Parking in front of hotel!
Cons: Everything was perfect!
9.5 Excellent
Cons: The receptionist somehow could not write the company information correctly on the bill and She also said that she can't make changes to the system afterwards
5.8 Okay
Cons: The front desk staff, both night and day, are unfriendly and like to comment on you a lot and also to laugh lightly at you after you leave.
