Location is superb.Could not ask for better. The longer you stay the more you appreciate. There is a tea museum two streets over. Many hidden gems that come alive at different times. The ancestoral home a few doors away is very lovely. Pros: the decor at the hotel
Cons: cockroach running around in the room. the drainage at bathroom is a problem too.
Pros: The location is perfect and the view from our rooftop room and garden is gorgeous. Love the books and the arts.
Cons: The owner spent most of the money on the art pieces which makes the public space really beautiful. However the bathroom smells awful with stink coming out of the floor drains. The shower water is not stable very hot suddenly and went cold next minute. It does not have a bath curtain so the toilet part always got flooded when you shower. As for the room, I was wishing to have a clean cosy and comfy bedding by paying a five stars hotel price, it disappointed me.

Cons: 1 When we are booking for 5 rooms, we want to pay by cash, but the hotel is not accepted to pay, they deduct us by the credit card which we are guarantee. it is not fare make us pay higher cost. 2 we ask the way to go airport shuttle bus. they tell us to walk 450 m to four seasons hotel(also can go, it is pick up point). but in fact they are very closed to bus station which is only cross the road opposite the hotel. (They should make the signs to explain customer in hotel to don't make any confuse.
Cons: TV set, cannot operate

Pros: Within walking distance to shops and eateries
Pros: The price with providing services is acceptable
Pros: Clean, comfortable , a large variety of choice for breakfast and good counter service,Will likely stay in again in future.
Pros: Good price in great location!
Cons: Keep all your money well. My THAI coins that put on the table disappear after came back in the evening!
Pros: Room size is decent. Location is good。
Cons: 1. Allow loud koraoki music continue banging up to 2am. is not acceptable for any decent hotel. 2. Still remains in the century-old govt run hotel practice of not servicing lunch after 2pm. 3. Despite many similar comments seen previous, choice and style of breakfast still remains very local Chinese, oilly and lacks variety like a motel chain.

With a stay at Zaiyang Inn in Chaozhou, you'll be a 2-minute walk from Guangji Bridge and 10 minutes by foot from Huang Jilue Temple. The front desk is staffed during limited hours.
Pros: excellent location, nicely renovated old mansion
Cons: i did not realize there were rooms that has no sound proof what so ever and the toilet was the traditional “squatting style” there were quieter and more modern rooms, one just need to know
Pros: It was a great experience staying here. The property is a 200 year old historical building and the house and artistry is very beautiful. The location is close to a main road where no cars or scooters are allowed. It’s close to the ancient bridge and interesting temples. I would stay here for the unique experience.
Cons: The bed we slept on was very hard (this is custom in China though).
Pros: The building this hostel is located in is a stunning old style mansion. The rooms are very stylish with four-poster beds and there are tea drinking corners everywhere. You really feel emerged in Chinese culture. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is a stone's throw from the main arched avenue.
Cons: We asked for a room with a western toilet (most rooms seem to have a squat toilet) and got one with one of those fancy Japanese toilet seats. But the room itself was tiny. Also, the shower didn't have hot water (the room of our travel companions did).
Cons: Long and steep stairs. Not ideal for travellers with suitcases.
Pros: I stayed in a spacey room upstairs. The house has got a wonderful flair. It’s an old building that used to house several families. You can brew and taste local oolong tea in the courtyards for free. Staff spoke English and was very helpful and friendly. I slept very well. All touristy points in walking distance.
Pros: Chaozhou is a small but traditional town. Culturally rich.
Cons: taxi does not use meter. refuse customer who want to be charge by meter
Pros: Beautiful old family home with multiple courtyards. I enjoyed the free gongfu tea available at a table in each courtyard, which in addition to being good quality tea, was also a great ice breaker for meeting other guests. Comfortable beds, and spotlessly clean rooms. Helpful, friendly staff.
Cons: Our room was really tiny. Some rooms were not so small so this won't necessarily apply to everyone booking there.
Pros: The whole experience was wonderful.
Cons: Nothing, it was great!
Pros: The Inn is located near the Paifang Street and a short walk to the Guangji Bridge. It is perfectly clean with good quality bathroom amenities.
Cons: Room is small
Pros: If you are looking to step back a little in time then the Zhi Yang Inn hits the spot. Tucked along a narrow alley in the older part of the city the property is a very nicely renovated rich merchants house, very authentic. Add in super helpful staff ( Zoe is exceptional and speaks good English) and its hard to find any fault. We were especially fortunate to be there for the Mid Autumn festival where we enjoyed moon cake, watched the moon and listened to signing and music.

Pros: Good view from the room
Pros: The staff worked well with me. The location is great your in the middle of a wonderful view with lots of shops and places to eat. Over all as an American guest I was quite happy with the hotel and staff. Everyone is friendly and willing to accommodate you. They even have a laundry service it's very helpful if your on a trip lasting more than 1 week. The toilet is a nice bonus it's more modern and the shower stays nice and hot.
Cons: Maybe more bottles of water they do give you 2 each day but sometimes you just want more. Especially if you have had a long day of walking exc...

With a stay at Chaozhou Hello Inn in Chaozhou, you'll be in the historical district, just a 4-minute walk from Guangji Bridge and 12 minutes by foot from Huang Jilue Temple. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. Pros: The location and design. Aesthetic value is there and the location is right in the middle of the old city tourist spot.
Cons: The room floor is quite filthy. The rags just outside the bathroom is filthy I don’t even dare to step onto it.
Pros: Amy, one of the staff member is speaking English very well. She was extremely helpful to guide me to the hotel and in Chauzhou around. In a very warmly manner she gave me a lot of insights of the town. The Hello-in is an exceptionally nice place, very rustic, with a lot of wood and atmosphere. Located very close to the heart of town but still a calm and quite oasis. 2 thumbs up.
Pros: Great location. The staffs are very helpful and friendly. Thanks Min for helping us to post our packages. You are very kind!
Cons: The volume of water for shower is very small. There is weird smell in the room because that is heritage building, but it was better after keeping the door opened for awhile.
Cons: If there were no mosquitoes
Pros: The hotel is located near food streets and shopping
Cons: The toilet flushing system is not ideal
Pros: location is convenient
Cons: 1. Room is quite small. We had a room for 4 people. Hardly any space for us to put luggage. 2. My parents stay downstairs room. Noisy walkway. Aircon @ 16 degree but still not cold. Out of maintenance. 2. The toilet is small and lock is hard to unlock. 3. Hotel deposit refund process is cumbersome. We paid cash for deposit and the staff could not return us the deposit during check-out; insist that hotel policy is to refund via agent, which we are still taking time to investigate with the agent after returning from the trip.
Pros: I like the morning shift staffs! they were excellent! made great friends with them and they extended their help throughout my 4 day stay there! Cheers! the location, design of the room and service is impeccable! There is a rooftop for people to gather and enjoy the night scene!
Pros: Location is very good. Easy to go anywhere.
Pros: environment and hotel style; convenience to visit tourist places;
Cons: the bed - a bit hard; toilet got bad smell; facilities not match with booking
