We stayed there the night of our wedding, so we were only there for a short time, but we loved it. The bartender gave us a drink on the house and was very friendly. We never made it to the rooftop area, but we enjoyed the lounge outside the bar downstairs. I wish we could have stayed longer!
pretty nice place. Good location
First we didn't get the room we chose in pre checkin, the shuttle or wifi wasn't free as it was listed online. Could have been kayaks fault but either way not happy about that. AC didn't seem to work either. Paid a lot for the stay so that stuff shouldn't have been issues.
AC didnt work
The staff was exceptionally accommodating. The shuttle was free and informative.
It may be better to stay closer to the historic district(but it was not far away), where you could walk to the historic attractions.
That we were able to get a reservation for that night
We had a plugged toilet and it took 45 minutes and two phone calls to get someone to fix it
Nice lobby. Plenty of parking.
Blood on the sheets. Mascara left on the pillows. Towels with stains all over them. What a disaster.
-Serious issue with the building structure and humidity. I have allergies and had a stuffed head all days we stayed there. - The humidity in the rooms and the smell of mold and mildew throughout. The windows in our room were constantly wet, we could not get them dry. - The cleaning maid kept knocking our door at the morning of checkout to see if she could service our room. why? - No refill of coffee/ tee station or soaps/ shampoo. When we called for a refill of the tee, it took long and I had to call again. Then they came twice, once with just coffee, no tea. - Expensive. We paid 160 USD per night for a hotel way out of town. They offer a shuttle bus but sell tickets for 6 USD per person per day. - The hotel looks old and worn.
