Day 1: The toilet clogged the first time using it. They sent someone who did not speak English or understand English and couldn’t fix it. Waited 45 minutes for someone else to fix it. And they cleared our room out an hour and 30 minutes before chec
We had to change room two times. First one had fleas, second one wasn’t cleaned by housekeeper and the firsd one didn’t have a hot water but we decided to stay cause we were too tired to complain about anything
We loved how convenient the location was! We walked everywhere- to brunch, shopping, dinner, rainbow row, rooftop bars, waterfront park. The rooms were nice & comfortable.
We were unaware that parking was not included. We stayed 4 nights and spent right at $120 at the parking garage. Also- there was not a mini fridge in our room which made it difficult to keep snacks and drinks during our stay.
The little extras- wine hour/donuts and coffee in the morning were a nice touch. Room was comfortable and location of the hotel couldn’t have been better for exploring downtown Charleston.
Room smelt a little damp, not sure if this was because it was an interior room or because it had been deep cleaned? Also the $95 for our dog just for one night was very steep. He is a medium sized, clean and well trained dog and I don’t think nearly $100 is a justified amount to clean the room after. Parking was also inconvenient in the garage next door as they tried to charge us more.
Our room was the perfect place to come back to and we both agreed it absolutely made the trip. It was the perfect place to relax in after checking out the city. The ceilings were maybe 12 or 13 feet tall and opening the drapes in the morning letting in all the light really showed off the size of the room. This was my second stay and will definitely be requesting this room again if possible. The shower was great (nice hot water without waiting), the bed was very comfortable and the pillows were perfect!
I can't think of a single thing I did not like.
