Bus boys were exceptional always ready to help with anything, smiling and running for you despite the worm weathers
Location was in the heart of the waterfront/ historic district of Charleston
Shower head wasn’t working and nothing was done!!
The lobby is lovely and they have daily musical entertainment which is great. Nice afternoon snacks.
The first room we were given did not have any hot water so for almost 24hrs we were not able to have a shower and or give our son a bath. This was after maintenance even came to check out the issue. We ended up switching rooms. The new room had hot water but the bathroom is is serious need of renovation as could the room generally. In the middle of the night beeping from a smoke alarm went off all night in the hallway. I emailed the front desk so as to not wake my son by calling. They said they checked and heard nothing. I emailed again. It went on all night long. I also had to go out into the hall at one point to ask people to be quiet as the doors and walls are so thin you can literally hear another persons conversation in the hall verbatim. It was after 9 and we have a 2yr old. I wasn’t happy. The breakfast was fair. I will say the hotel restaurant was great as was the staff in there and the location is nice for walking.
The staff was amazing. The location was ideal for seeing the sights and access to the water and restaurants.
It would help if they had some way to keep things cold in the room.
Hotel is located in the center of downtown and night live, very good breakfast
