Cons: No cars were available when I arrived. It took 45 minutes to get me a car and the customer service woman told me I would have to pay extra. I took the vehicle with no extra charge.

Cons: When I arrived there were no cars available, which was not the first time this has happened but I understand because it's the island. What bothered me was that I had prepaid and I had to call Hertz three times to verify my refund, which I think should have been done automatically. They gave me the wrong ID number and screwed up my refund initially so that was a good hour on the phone with them. Eventually they found the right one, but I'm still waiting 7-10 days for the refund to be back on my card. I will never use Hertz again.

Cons: Gas expensive.

Cons: The car was full of cockroach

Cons: extra added on costs that we were hit up with during check in. Thought prepaid amount covered it all??

Cons: 3rd in line took over an hour to get car

Cons: Instructions on drop-off procedures for before hours needed.

Cons: Car was not available when we arrived. We waited over an hour for our car.

Cons: the way i was treated at pick up the poor condition of car it over heated on two occasions it was an overall bad experience i wont let it happen again.

Cons: Price. Budget can do a bit better with it's incentives for clients who are repeat customers.

Cons: Pick up was awful and the lady at the desk didn't want to honor my KAYAK rental price. The first car originally given to me had some mechanical issues. After speaking to the manager, they gave me a better car along with a refund of the added cost. Drop off was a nightmare as well. I had a 8:30am flight and was looking to turn in the car before 7am. That didn't happen due to no one being at either of the return gates or buildings. After waiting until 7:15am, my friends and I could not wait any longer as we had to go through customs and security still. We left the key in a budget parking spot and then called to let them know before boarding where the car was since it wasn't in the "original pick up" spot as stated on the gate.

Cons: Slight damage to rear bumper from previous renter.

Cons: They did not have the suv we reserved. We needed an suv for diving and driving in rainforest. They called and offered to bring the suv to us in 15min. I sat waiting for an hour and missed the sunset on the beach with my husband.

Cons: If you refill the gas, you are supposed to present a receipt from the gas station, or else pay a penalty of $15, which, as it turns out, would have been more than the fuel cost. However, Avis kindly never charged us the penalty.

Cons: Having to check-in & check-out standing in the heat.

Cons: No issues - great service!

Cons: Upon dropping car off they charged me for gas even though I returned car with a full tank of gas!!! I called to clear this up they said they will not refund the charge. They claim that there was a gallon of short of it being full. I filled car up at nearest gas station and drove straight to drop it off!!! It was about a 5 minute drive!!!!
