Pros:
Nothing much, we returned the car at 10pm and there was no one to help us.Cons:
We were billed 50 Euros for a small black mark that would be difficult to spot during pre-inspection. We felt that this was possibly an easy loophole from Hertz to take a couple extra dollars, and previous reviews of Hertz from other renters had similar views.We ended up paying about double of what we expected when we first saw the car rental on Kayak.com10.0 Excellent

The office was closed when I dropped off the car. I was instructed to leave keys with front desk and when I did the hotel staff seemed bewildered by this. Also wish there was brief overview on how to drive the car (ie. controls like windshield, high beams, etc).6.0 Good

- Nature lovers will really enjoy a visit to Ljubljana, Slovenia. With its numerous parks and rivers, you’ll find many opportunities to engage in outdoor activities and explore farm life. On a warm summer day you might even want to take a quick drive to a seaside town in Croatia like Motovun. Without a rental car you can’t do any of this. It will also be more difficult to get to places like Triglav National Park or Soca Valley for some hiking, kayaking, canyoning or white water rafting.
- The Ljubljana airport is just a short drive from many cities and towns in Slovenia. It is also less than 100 miles from the countries of Italy and Austria. You’ll find it quite simple to rent a car from this airport. All of the rental car agencies, including Enterprise, Budget, and Alamo, have offices in the parking structure just across the road from the terminal. Simply grab your bags, head over there, and you are ready to go.
- In Slovenia, every car is required to have a toll sticker (“vignette”) when it is on the freeway.
