After making the reservation and driving to that location, we were told that they don’t have a car for us. We spent $70 to Uber to and from the Dorchester, MS location just to be told that there is no car for us. Extremely disappointed!

It was convenient. I was told that we would be picked up, just call. Called the 800 number was told to hold for a minute was on over 45 minutes, had my husband call the local they never answered. Gave up on the 45 minute hold. Took a taxi when we got there was told they don't pick up on weekends. I had called before I left for the trip and specifically told them where I would be and the day and was told no problem. They did make an adjustment for part of the taxi fare. Return was pretty easy. But the girl didn't know the number you had to call for the shuttle. Fortunately we hit a very nice lady who helped us out.

This rental was good value for money. Rental was an SUV and pick up and drop off was different locations, which can be costly. The staff at both locations were friendly.

When picking up vehicle there was a completely unexpected “one way charge”. The car was booked as one way from the first moment. It is hard to back off at the moment of picking vehicle up with no alternative arrangements. If this charge was shown in the booking we would have booked elsewhere.

Great customer service in Roslindale, and cleanliness of vehicle was excellent as well. Only problem was that the Enterprise at Logan Airport was unwilling to give me a one-way rental to Augusta, ME. Very strange that a small Enterprise with a dozen cars in Roslindale, MA was able to provide a service that the huge Enterprise with several hundred cars at the airport couldn’t manage. It was inconvenient to travel with several large suitcases to a place 30 minutes from the airport, than to simply get the car at the airport.

The booking you gave me was not in the airport and the pickup time approved and suggested by your booking service was when the Hertz location was closed so I was unable to pick up the reserved vehicle. The entire reason for booking in advance is to ensure I can trust I have a vehicle when I arrive. All of that was lost completely. I lack words to express my disappointment

The employees at this location were amazing!!! There was a shortage of cars, no fault of their own, but they worked so hard to get us on the road and while we were waiting they were amazing!! Such a kind group!

Everything about the pick up was a hot mess. It was a small side business of a car repair shop on the south side of Boston. There seemed to be one woman who was in charge taking calls and handling customers who were there to pick up cars. We had to wait for well over 1/2 hour to be helped. At one point there were 6 of us in a chaotic “office” about the size of a large closet. When we finally got our car it seemed to have been pretty much just sprayed with air freshener and that’s it. They were careful about taking pics of all damage/marks on the car. The young guy was polite—no issues. But after we drove away we noticed how filthy the windshield was including many circles from people mounting phone holders. Also the back right tire was low—we had to add air. And there was an alert on the dashboard screen that read “maintenance—oil and filter”. ??? The car ran fine and was comfortable but for almost $1000 it was an unacceptable experience.

Terrible! I’ll never rent with Hertz again and will NEVER book through Kayak. Car was dirty, one window broke, took 2 hours to check out. Took 45 minutes to drop off. Hertz customer service is basically non-existent and Kayak’s customer service is literally non-existent. It felt like a misinformation scam as Kayak booked us at on off-site location but in a “sneaky” way that made us believe it was at BOS airport. Do NOT use Kayak or Hertz. They should be ashamed at their lack of service.
