The worst car rental experience that I have ever h
Pros: Absolutely nothing.
Cons: Most of the employees at this alleged Hertz rental location were slow & confused. When we arrived at Piarco Airport at about 5am, we called Hertz & were told that even though we had made a reservation in advance, there were no rentals available. We sat at the airport for TWO HOURS, waiting for them to figure out a vehicle for us, although it should have been ready & waiting. Instead of taking a pre authorization for the depsoit, we were charged a full $600 which is $100 more than they originally stated because of the car that we ended up with was a (tiny) SUV, in addition to the cost of the actual rental. This was not expressed in advance by Kayak or "Hertz", what if we were not prepared to spend an additional $600, on top of vacation expenses?! The charges on my card were not even from Hertz, instead they were from Lifestyle Motors Ltd. What exactly is that? I selected Hertz because it was a name that I recognized & trusted but somehow ended up renting through a shady company with inept employees who have no idea what customer service is. Disappointed & disgusted.

Cons: My flight got in at 1015 , it was noted to them I'm getting in at that time, their office said their business hours were 8am-11pm my brother got to the airport at 930 and no one answered the phone they have there to reach their office 2 other customers were there as well and said they were having the same problem, we went to the office which is located 3 min away from airport and they were closed we had to get cars from enterprise , I called the next day and they were really rude

Pros: Pickup and drop off were quick

Pros: The company and staff really went out of their way to help me out. I was with a large group and had three vehicles and they went the distance to assist me in whatever I needed. Above and beyond service.
Cons: There was a miscommunication about my initial rental plans - I could have solved it with an email, but it didn't occur to me as I had other things on my mind. In the end it was sorted out on my arrival and even ended up saving me money.
Cons: It took us about an hour to find the person who was suppose to get us the car becuase there is no proper booth/office for Europcar in port of spain airport. And even at the Drop off we couldnt find anybody I gave the keys to an off duty worker of Europcar
