BewareCons: Staff didn't want to come and check car with me and expected me to sign for car without it being checked together when I collected it, there was no one to accept car back, we had car cleaned just before dropping it off in airport car park to be sure there was no damage at 5am, sixt staff turned up to work at 8am and emailed me tell me that car has a scratch down the side and they are going to bill me for it. Cannot believe any car hire company anywhere is run like this

Though the public transportation is widely available with multiple tram lines and numerous buses offered, it is often slower to take public transport than it is to drive yourself in Wroclaw. Groups and families especially benefit from renting a car, as it will be much easier to get around in a car than it would be to hop on and off the bus to get between your destinations.

Trams are quite common throughout Wroclaw and drivers new to the city should take note of a few rules that regulate driving on roads with trams. First, you may drive on the tram tracks but as soon as a tram approaches, you must vacate the lane. Also, when passing a tram, you must pass it on the right and not the left. You also must yield to pedestrians boarding the tram even when it is in the middle of a green light.
