Pay for wifi?
Most everything was perfect
They want you to pay us$15 per day for wifi. Booo.
Great location. Very clean.
Only some reservations get access to the lounge where breakfast is served. What hotel only gives continental breakfast to some guests.
The hotel was right on the water and close to many attractions. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable.
The pool could use some upgrades, and it would of been nice if the rooms had a mini fridge for personal use, instead of a fridge stocked already with items that you have to purchase.
Location and views from rooms
Pool was not always clean. Hair in pool made kids not want to swim.
The location, bed, and shower were perfect. The room size was great and the view of the river was beautiful. It's in walking distance of the Willis tower and sky gate.
Parking is about 55 dollars for 24hrs, and about 14 for 30 minutes. There is no fridge in the room. There was no coffee in the room, as is supplied at lower end hotels. Because there are restaurants in the building, when we asked for recommendations on places to eat the staff would only recommend those places, which are overly expensive. No complimentary breakfast.
Decent choice for business stay
Courteous staff, views of the water, walk le access to shops and restaurants
Excellent in every way
Friendly, professional staff. Great accommodations. Perfect location. Especially liked the on-site dining options.
Sheraton Grand Chicago
It was a great location and the staff was very friendly.
I spent a lot of time looking for a room that would comfortably fit 3 adults. I was traveling with my 19 year old daughter and my 67 year old mother. I specifically booked and paid for a "triple room". When we got to the room there were 2 small double beds. Not at all what I expected for 3 adults or for $400 per night. Be very aware of what you are actually getting for your money. This was not at all comfortable for 3 regular sized adults. I will say everything else was fine but I felt very ripped off for what we paid vs. what we got. I could have booked a regular room anywhere for much less.
Had to wait for my room Heating went into cooling so too sensitive and could not control to heat only. Bath tub did not drain well.
WAY TOO OVER CROWDED, we didn't get the room we requested and had to change rooms the second night. Overall, not a great value for the money. I would stay elsewhere next time, since there is a ton of hotels in that area.
The location, the personel is always available and happy to help.
The breakfast was not included
Great bedding, nice staff, open and big lobby. Great food options.
Nothing!!!! Because my credit card was charged twice for $1068.72!!!! And it absolutely ruined my trip!!!!
My credit card was charged twice for $1068.72!!!! And it absolutely ruined my trip!!!! Also... When making my reservation through Booking.com, the Sheraton Chicago didn't have my reservation in their system!!! Booking.com had to fax over my reservation twice, hence the double charge on my credit card!!!!
Bed linens and beds were comfy.
The location was perfect! We were able to shop, enjoy the nightlife, and take in the Chicago Marathon. Everything was close by.
The price was pretty high, but we stayed over Columbus Day/Chicago Marathon weekend so I guess that rooms were at a premium.
I liked the central location of the hotel.
I think the charge for internet-acces is ridiculous, the room-service sometimes took very long (1,5 hour) and they tried to charge me more than what I had originally booked for.
Location of the hotel was close to downtown and many activities
I would like wireless internet in guest rooms (for free)
I enjoyed the view of the Chicago River, watching the excursion boats, view of the Trump hotel.
Additional price for fittness facilities ($12 per/person per day);Long-distance rates (over $10 per minute !!!), spring water provided in rooms - almost $6 per 1,89L bottle
Was ok Thanks
Dirty cutlery/plates left by the cleaning staff left in the passage for more than 24 hours.
Comfort and the attention of the reception employees. The location is also excellent.
The room was not clean. I found a dirty glass under the bed. Besides, dirty plates remained for long hours in front of the doors of some rooms. I really hope it was an exception: that´s why I keep on recommending the hotel.
Helpfull staff who answered all questions we had about the city.
The rooms were somewhat old and in need of repair.. I expected more from a Sheraton hotel.
