Cons. Can't beat the art deco charm, location, and charm --- esp. at that price!
Cons. The place was filthy. Staff was no friendly. The check in staff was rude. The air conditioner did not work. It was 83 degrees in our room. The hotel staff was more worried of not upsetting "the boss" rather than addressing the conditions of the apartment.
Pros. Loved the location. We bought a metra pass but hardly used it because everything was so close. Nice to have a kitchenette. AC was loud but worked well. The apartment itself was quiet and you couldn't hear other neighbors or city noise.
Cons. Staff was helpful but not the friendliest. Our specific apartment felt a bit run down and not very clean.
