9.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was excellent. Great waffles, real oatmeal, and freshly made smoothies with lots more. Staff super nice, professional, and responsive. Early or late check ins are no problem. Pool and hot tub area very clean. Seems newly remodeled. Bathroom/ shower and rub in room was really clean. All white. Not a trace of mold or age. We will stay here again while visiting family in the area.
Cons: There was a cleaning fragrance in the room when we arrived. It was not unpleasant or overwhelming but it did set off my, and my daughter’s, allergy to fragrances. Because we have that issue we will call ahead next time and ask that our room not be fragranced prior to our arrival. This was an issue unique to us that the hotel could not have predicted.

Pros: The rooms had plenty of space, but the decor of the hotel is what we like most. Everyone was super friendly and made us feel at home. That is extremely rare these days. We especially liked the staff at the cafe and enjoyed spending time at Trax too.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: I like trains. I was happy.Beautiful vestibule. Definitely a cool historic place, if you do not mind the occasional freight train. Rooms are nice, but kind of run of the mill. The rest of it makes up for it.
Cons: Gave us a hard time for not being 21 (19&20). Kind of frustrating, as I had called and asked if it was okay, then received wrong information. I will say they allowed us to stay which was very much appreciated. Clarity between back office and front of house policy would be appreciated.

1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Not as described. There is no way this is a 3 star hotel. It was seedy, extremely dated, dark, and just very unpleasant. I was so uncomfortable I left and checked into a more expensive hotel. Ugh.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Check in was simple, staff was extremely friendly. The bed was super comfortable, and the room was cozy. We came for The Office, as we are big fans, so having a view of Gerrity's was a funny but happy treat. We really loved our stay and plan on coming back for a future visit with our kids. Bonus for us!- when we were checking out we noticed they provided a crib for another room. We have a baby on the way, and that really sold us on returning sometime after the baby is born. What a wonderful accommodation!
Cons: Literally our only gripe is that we wish the room had a microwave. Everything else was fantastic.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic staff. Very good people in the cafeteria.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff were welcoming. lights in my room would not come on during check in, a housekeeper troubleshooted this issue immediately. Not far from snow tubing or electric city aquarium.
Cons: The “free WiFi” was not good at all. My bf did wake up with slight back pain unsure if it’s unrelated.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly & helpful staff.
Cons: No. Everything was fine.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: There was no breakfast and the staff put together a grab and go for our 6 AM departure
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Decor
Cons: Tv service, no microwave in room
7.0 Good
Pros: It was a nice room and comfy beds.
6.0 Good
Pros: I liked the food at the restaurant! I liked the room overall. Those were the exceptions to the property though.
Cons: I didn’t like a lot. The phone in the room didn’t work. Front desk just could not accommodate basic needs..that part was a nightmare. I wanted to have my room refreshed, new sheets, towels, etc., when I left out around 2/3 pm and the front desk told me that housekeeping was no longer working or at the hotel. I’ve never heard of not one housekeeping staff being at the property. The front desk also told me that room service was not possible at 8pm on a Saturday...when it clearly said to dial room service on the phone on the menu in the room. I ended up having to call on my cell phone, down to the front desk to figure out that I had to come down to order my food. This was because my room phone would not dial down to the front desk, or anybody! And no once did the staff ask to have someone come up and fix the phone.
7.0 Good
Cons: We were greeted by a sick hostess in bathrobe and pijamas. Not very reassuring during the Corona Virus outbreak. She looked feverish and was handling my credit card as well as all my paperwork.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious room, comfortable beds, nice pillows, great shower - water pressure, quiet room, etc.
Cons: Nothing
7.1 Good
Pros: The design.
Cons: The bathroom was not the best and the front desk people we terrible. I purchased the room with breakfast included and the man refused to give me the voucher.

Pros: The employees at the Hampton at Montage Mountain couldn't have been nicer to us. All very pleasant and helpful, from letting my husband keep his bicycle in a safe place to giving us directions to Scranton the following morning.
Cons: My ONLY complaint is minor. The website booking described our room as having a view of the mountains -- only true if you leaned into the window and looked left past the car port directly in front of us.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: The restaurant.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was nice... They had a dance competition going on that was very good!!!
Cons: I woke up early in the morning and I ran out to have a cigarette and someone that works at the place said I had to leave or they will call the cops.. I was in the smoking area... I was keeping to myself I told them I'm staying here they said no your not get out of here.. I walked away to avoid confrontation because my anxiety was going crazy at that moment and I walked around the block and walked back in and quickly got to the elevator and went upstairs to my room... I figured because I just got out of bed and it was early a.m. hours they were trying to keep riff Raff away mabe I looked a certain way that they didn't like but I didn't go out after that.... I didn't sleep after that .. but the property was nice mabe certain staff should be trained to not judge a book by its cover especially when I just got out of bed to have a quick smoke... But I did see alot of drinks around mabe he included me with them when I wasn't... I didn't even talk to them people.. the guy was doing his job I don't blame him but I did say I'm staying here and he didn't want to hear it so I deescalated the situation by taking a walk and snuck back to my room... I figured that guy had alot to deal with if he really knew me mabe it would've gone different... Or if mabe I had my nice cloths on and my hair did it would have been different but I was just having a late night smoke.. I'm not taking it personally... But that was my stay at the Hilton in Scranton

5.0 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Continental breakfast is a joke - on par with the local Econo Lodge. There was no hair dryer in the room. When I called the front desk they had no replacement. Then the girl hung up on me. Place needs a MAJOR overhaul! I stay because it's cheap.
5.0 Okay

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The only meats that were available were Turkey Based. I eat Pork. The eggs were the same every day. It needed variety. Maybe some fried potatoes or hash browns to the menu.
7.0 Good
Pros: Location, lots of closet space, large bathroom, separate bedroom and living area.
Cons: Breafast was mediocre, pool was small. Electical issues caused the power to go out several times. We were forced to walk up and down 3 flights of stairs and could not stay in our room as there was no air conditioning (hot & humid Aug days)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean. Great kitchen. Even gave bowls and plates, etc. fully stocked. I loved it.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Not provide bottle water for purchase or free in fridge.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I liked the hot tub and kitchenette. The free breakfast was above par as well.
Cons: The pillows were the deflated feather kind which I hate but I brought my own.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Inviting and esthetically pleasing: Outside fireplace lit, Festive holiday decor, Staff at front desk ready to help, quick check in, PET friendly with outside doggy waste station, some grounds to actually walk around our labrador retriever, Ample parking along with great proximity to entryways. Room was warm and refreshing upon arrival.
Cons: The pillows? Honestly I have a pillow issue and need to ALWAYS bring my own however, this time I forgot it. The pillows provided were just fine but, a non feathered'like pillow option would have been wonderful. The lady tidying up the breakfast needed to be friendly and aware of her guests. Not that she was rude in the direct sense but, by not answering to her surroundings she set an uneasy tone for every guest around her and it showed! Many of the young and older folks simply left without grabbing a bit to go, in just my time of observation.
7.0 Good
Pros: The hotel was an excellent location for me and the king suite I had was quite spacious with a kitchenette and a larger-than-normal bathroom.
Cons: Breakfast was late. It started at 6:30 and even though it probably wasn’t much, just a to-go bag, it would have been better if they started breakfast earlier for us who start our day before 6. There wasn’t even coffee in the lobby, the clerk telling me there is a coffee pot in every room. Who doesn’t have coffee in the lobby???
4.2 Okay
Pros: Good breakfast with helpful staff. Location of motel. Pet area with waste bags provided.
Cons: The room was extremely small. With the sofa bed open you couldn't walk to the bathroom. Poorly designed room. The extra pillow and blanket were dirty and had mold. The staff replaced them promptly. The $50. charge for a pet was not listed initially and is much higher than other pet friendly hotels we have stayed in.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Original room I was given was occupied/definitely not cleaned. I was given another room. But since then occurred many charges to my account that was more than I expected.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Incredibly nice and efficient staff checked me in. I have never been checked in so quickly and efficiently--a relief at 10 pm. Suite was pleasant and well appointed and very clean. I have 4 kids and it's a challenge to find places that work well for us. I love suites--so much better than 2 rooms. This had a full kitchen, although only one bathroom
Cons: Inadequate bedding for the sofa bed. There were no pillows, so we had to take them off the other beds, and the other bedding was minimal. This is a common problem, though. Also, while very clean, the suite showed its age just a bit, with obviously repaired damage to walls and worn furniture. It was all well within my comfort zone, though
6.0 Good
Cons: I was disappointed in the housekeeping. The room never got cleaned one of the days.

Pros: Fireplace outside, nice staff. Very nice hotel. The starbucks in lobby was good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: There was a very comfortable outdoor fire pit.
Cons: Best were slightly too firm
7.9 Good
Pros: 1. Double shower curtains. I have found this a positive trend in other chains; having one in the tub and one outside of the tub, insulates well in addition to diminishing extra water from finding the floor and becoming a slipping hazard. 2. A non-slip floor on the tub. Do everything you can to make the space as safe as possible. I recently booked a room with a Jacuzzi in a competitor’s hotel. My wife who is short had a very difficult time staying above water. The basin was completely slick. As a result, I appreciate the thought going into design at the Courtyard. 3. The bathroom has a fan. While all bathrooms must be vented, many have a passive system. And despite the noise, the room was insulated well enough that the sound wasn’t particularly noticeable in the bedroom area. 4. The sink is outside of the bathroom. I’ve gone back and forth on this; there are occasions, when being able to wash one’s hands while someone is occupying the bathroom is very convenient. I have decided that I favor this design. 5. The TV is on a pivoting wall mount. This allows a better viewing angle when seated in the chair or resting in the far bed. In other facilities, I’ve wondered why my view is restricted to straight ahead. This one definitely gets a thank you! 6. Outlets, outlets, and more outlets. I counted 18 visible outlets. In most hotels, you have to call out a search party to find more than four. These are very convenient, being distributed around the room and adjacent to wherever you tend to work or rest. This is extremely well done! There were also three USB charging ports in three locations. Thank you for being a part of this century. Other companies need to take notice. 7. There are two mirrors in the bedroom area. One is full length and the other is a midsize version behind the night stand. Not that I have much to look at, but the convenience is appreciated. 8. There are cans designated for trash and recycling. Based on current news stories and localities giving up on such
Cons: 1. The latch on the balcony door was a little sluggish. It actually looked like someone had tried to jimmy it. While having a place to get some fresh air is very nice, there’s not much of a view in the back of the hotel. Perhaps from the third floor, but nothing of interest from the obstructing tree line of the second floor. 2. Housekeeping missed the lingering beer can the previous guest must have left on the outside balcony. 3. The toilet kept running. It was hard to imagine that housekeeping didn’t recognize the problem when they last cleaned the room. I’m hoping they cleaned and flushed the toilet. It tuned out the water line hose had come off and the seat in the tank didn’t fully nest in the hole at the base of the tank. I reconnected the hose and slightly bent the handle bar down. Problem corrected. 4. There is a traditional shower bar by the faucet side of the tub. I never get into the shower from that side. I do exit there on occasion. This may be more of a habit that is dependent upon the setup at one’s home. Ideally, there should be one on both ends of the tub as a quick grab can come at either end. In that other facility, the bar on the Jacuzzi was on the end from which it was impossible to enter the tub. To make matters worse, when trying to exit the Jacuzzi, my wife slipped and hit her head on the under sink shelf. Despite the front desk saying they would report that to the General Manager, I never heard from them. That was not this hotel or another Courtyard. That’s a different property chain and obviously one that will not get a revisit. Safety needs to be overly attended to. 5. You need at least two levels of soap shelves in the tub to accommodate people of different heights and those taking showers as opposed to baths. 6. I don’t know who uses the room coffeemakers, but these can go, as far as I’m concerned. There are a few issues here. Thankfully this coffee maker wasn’t in the bathroom like some properties. When I was in high school, we did an ex
