In particular I enjoyed: - The friendly hospitality with reliable attention to detail; - the location (20 min walk into town and if you are there by car (which I was not), there is ample space to park it in front of the house); - the fresh, nourishing and delicious breakfast; - the cleanliness; - the firm mattress (good for my back!); - the practical size of room and bathroom (good shower!); - the organisational aspects (arrival/departure, keys, information) - the quietude of the house.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was my husband's birthday n they gave us a room with a balcony which was a bonus. The view was amazing.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Blissful location by the River, with a serene view. Terrific breakfast, and lovely staff. We were offered hot drinks on our arrival which were brought to the room.
Cons: One one occasion my Mother and I took dinner at the hotel and that was very under par except for the desserts! Scrumptious puddings.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast had good choice of cereals, hot food and drinks. Staff cheerful and helpful.
7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast was good, but from looking at the website pictures of breakfast, perhaps my expectations were set too high. Staff were attentive and pleasant.
Cons: Once again expectations were set high by the bedroom pictures from the hotel Website. The use of wide angle lenses by Estate Agents and Hotels contribute to this problem today. I was tempted to check the measurements of the bedroom to see was it in line with the room description of a Superior King size room. But the bathroom illustrated the point more, in that it felt tiny in comparison to the photos on the website. It just left me disappointed especially as I felt I was paying a lot of money for two nights Bed and Breakfast.
6.8 Good
Pros: Leisure centre and staff.
Cons: Hotel staff not very friendly and did not get the room I paid for .

Pros: Fabulous room, staff, food, leisure centre. Could not fault it in any way.
6.8 Good
Pros: Great location. Room was very clean. Bed nice and comfortable.
Cons: Hotel was very hot. We could open the window very wide but that did little to relieve the heat. Breakfast service was very slow. I had to ask twice for a pot of coffee. The dishes were filthy. There was dried food on the cereal bowls. The coffee cups had a coffee ring on the inside, the side plate was greasy and the big plates had dried food on them. Don't think their dish washer was working properly. We brought this to the attention of the staff and they changed the plates and cups. The Wheatbar has a great vibe but the food is way over priced. I had a full rack of ribs the one night which was clearly cooked from frozen as it was still ice cold in the center. Priced at €18 for 6 ribs. The next night I ordered the lamb cutlets (€22) and it was really not worth it. Clearly not cooked fresh. We waited for 20 minutes before a waitress took our order and another 25 to be served starters. Restaurant is busy and way under staffed.

Pros: The location is great, 10 minute walk from the train station and right beside the centre of town. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was great, and the ladies serving were really nice too.
Cons: The room was small but fine for a few days. The room could have been more cared for, there was a build up of dust on things like the hair dryer and desks. The bathroom smelled very damp and could do with better ventilation. The shower doors seemed like they were on the way out. With a bit more upkeep/maintenance this would be a really nice place.

Our view was of the roof outside, no problem. but you could see there had been work started on flat roof repair and then just abandoned. Bits flapping about in any wind. Roof leaking on way up the stairs with a box underneath to cath dripping water. Dodgy key to open room, only one key. Room floor was slanted and so was bed. Breakfast was a big truckers fry up with tea/coffee and toast - no fruit yoghurt etc

Cons: Most staff were disinterested in us. The building is very rundown, a plastic container at the top of the stairs full of water from a leak somewhere above. The carpet doesn't fit to the treads on the first flight and is a safety hazard. Fire alarm going off at 2 am, it was a prankster? I wouldn't have fed my dog the breakfast, and gudging by the other guests, no one ate there's either.
