Pros: Everything. Very friendly and homey. They have a bonfire at night. Lots of hammocks chairs and grills. And even told us to get any drinks we wanted out of their refrigerator. The beds were very comfy and it was beautifully arranged. Did not want to leave
Pros: Homey feel from the ladies who own it. Motorcycle crowd seemed to like it. Only 10 rooms total, so no big crowds.
Cons: My reason for going was to play poker in Cherokee and it was a little too long a drive for my liking. Not the hotels fault.
Pros: Perfect location. Owners were welcoming and just like family. Very clean, comfortable, and quiet. Superb staff. Bed was extremely comfortable. Love the fact it is small and quaint. Check in/out easy. Highly recommend.
Cons: Our hot water was limited. Other than that, no other complaints.
Our room was recently updated and was very clean and neat. There were little extras in the room that made it feel more like home. It poured rain the whole weekend but next time we hope to enjoy the fire pit, cornhole boards and other outside activities they offer right there at the hotel.
Pros: The owners, are very friendly and welcoming. They were genuinely concerned about meeting our needs and making sure we were comfortable.
Pros: The staff was very hospitable and nice from the moment we arrived, and throughout our stay there. The rooms were nice, clean and very comfortable in meeting our needs. Would highly recommend The Cardinal Inn to everyone I know heading into Maggie Valley.
Cons: There was nothing we did not like. This is a AAA+++ establishment.
Pros: The owners are super nice and helpful. Close to Waynesville and nice, quiet area
Cons: I would have liked a little larger bar of bath soap.
Pros: The small motel was so quaint and homey. The owners were great hosts.
Cons: The carpet could have been newer.

Pros: Really, really liked the whole nature scene. There were plenty of trees, a rushing creek playing my favorite sounds, and a comfortable place to lay my head at night. Also, the folks behind the desk were super kind and helpful. They seemed to enjoy helping my group get orientated with Maggie's Valley.
Pros: Went to Maggie Valley to see Wheels Thru Time Museum and the wife & one adult son came along. Picked Jonathan Creek because few booking available at time. What a home run! After a recent bad experience using small local inns on a PA get away we found spotless, well maintained facilities with local charm and comfort. and a friendly staff. Last minute travel changes had us stay two nights and not just one. Next season I plan a cycle tour back to Maggie Valley and to run the near by Dragon and I will return.
Pros: Beautiful area, clean friendly staff. Best on franchise hotel for the price I can remember staying in.
Cons: No breakfeast served, however great resturant across the street.
Enjoy your visit to Maggie Valley with a stay at Jonathan Creek Inn and Villas. Guests can get a morning swim in at the indoor pool, and the spa tub makes for a relaxing end to the day. Bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves are offered in all rooms, along with balconies or patios and free WiFi.
Pros: This B and B was much more like staying at a dear friend's lovely home rather than in a room for the evening. Beautifully appointed rooms and jacuzzi tubs made nights after long days on the slopes a wonderful nightcap! Wonderful, thoughtful breakfasts!
Pros: Nearby attractions
Cons: Dirty carpet, so dirty our socks are stained . Had a half roll of toilet paper, was told they would bring one (!) roll later. Bought our own. Never will stay there again. Not a real cabin, it's an rv with siding.
The location was great, just off of Rt.#19 (SoCo) Rd. Very Private. The grounds were well kept up. The room was perfect. Very comfortable, with a flat screen TV, Fridge, Coffee maker, complimentary snacks and drinks, private deck with a view of the mountains. The complimentary breakfast was very nice and served at 9:00a.m. every morning. The staff was very friendly as well as entertaining. The next time we plan a trip to Maggie Valley NC I wouldn't think of staying anywhere else.
Pros: The Room, was the best thing about our stay there. It was outstandingly cool.
Cons: Their wasn't anything that we did not like about this ' Hotel.
I would recommend Misty mountain to any one who would like to enjoy a nice place to stay with all the beautiful sounds sites of nature and real down to earth folks that run the place.
Pros: The cabins were just fantastic. You could sit on the porch in the mornings and hear the beautiful sounds of rushing water in the nearby creek. Behind our cabin was a pond with beautiful koi fish numbering in the dozens that made us feel right at home.

Pros: this hotel had a firmular feeling of home. we like the spacious bathroom and we had plenty of room to lay stuff on the sink counter, without fear it would get knocked off.
Cons: only that it needs a little bit of weather striping around the door,
Pros: As the host hotel a group from all around north America, this was a good place that could accommodate a crew. Our hosts were great!!
Cons: Could use new mattresses to go with the well done physical updates to rooms. Mine wasn't so good.
Pros: We liked the location and the proximity to the local park - the festival we were going to was within walking distance& we did not have to move our car. The staff (owner) was extremely friendly & helpful. Everything was clean. Nice spacious bathroom.
Cons: THE MATRESSES!!! Both of the beds in the room we were in had mattresses on them that were so soft I dubbed them 'marshmallow beds'. We rolled down into the middle when we got in and it was a challenge to get out. New mattresses wd be a big benefit.
would recommend to anyone
Pros: The room was what we wanted, the owners were exceptional
Roomy & spacious and an awesome deal for the price.
Pros: The kitchenette
Cons: The garbage cans outside our room needed to be emptied.
Staff was nice and helpful, but the room was dusty, and sheets smelled musty and old, not fresh like you would expect a motel to be. I will not book here again.
Pros: Staff was very nice.
Cons: Room very dusty. Sheets were clean but very musty smelling.
Pros: Nice person at desk.
Cons: rated number 1 on your sight. I guess i did not read close enough. no power in bathroom, no one at desk when arrived, lots of motor cycles to wake us during the night.
One of the nicest 1 star motels I've ever been to. Our room was maintained with care, had everything working, heater was more than adequate for a pretty big room and very nice kitchenette with sink, microwave, fridge and cooking utensils.
Pros: Helpful staff, great price, room was way better than I expected
I have been in the hotel/restaurant biz for 30 years and would definitely stay at The Holiday Inn again!
Pros: The owners were very friendly and welcoming from check-in to check-out. The room was clean, comfortable and mountain setting was very peaceful. Great place to stay if you want a reasonable-priced hotel in a beautiful, serene setting.
When visiting Maggie Valley, A Holiday Motel is a great choice to consider. After hanging out at the outdoor pool or seasonal outdoor pool, guests can grab a bite to eat at Pop's Grits & Eggs, which serves American cuisine and is open for breakfast and lunch. Rooms feature bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves.
Pros: This is a bit better than what you expect. It was recently remodeled, so it was very clean. Bed was comfortable, TV was adequate, room was large. Staff were extremely friendly. I didn't hear a single other guest, but it wasn't particularly busy, so your mileage may vary there. I hesitate to give any hotel five stars, even the five star ones, so four is pretty high praise from me.
Cons: Shower nozzle wasn't great (but the pressure was fine). Heat was finicky (it was in the lower 20s by the time I woke up). Very difficult to get the temperature "just right".

Pros: The first day was fine with little to complain about other than the noisy neighbors. You can hear everything, so we had to blast the air to drown out the noise. The real problem was the 2nd day for breakfast. The server snapped at my wife for asking for a difference yogurt. She looked at my wife and yelled NO! I could tell before the incident that the lady didn't want be there and had a disgusted look on her face. This is unacceptable and we complained to the manager, but she only made excuses for her. They seemed to be under staffed and unable to handle more than 20 people at a time, but that doesn't excuse the server's behavior. If you don't like to work around people, then work from home. The manager did go and get the yogurt that we were told "NO!!" they didn't have. If you stay here, eat breakfast elsewhere. You'll be glad you did. They served frozen eggs too BTW.
Pros: For such a busy Thanksgiving weekend the staff made everything at the hotel so comfortable. I am especially thankful for the kindness shown by the front desk staff and in the breakfast room.

Pros: This room was huge and clean. I will stay again and again.
Pros: Overall the Hotel wasn't too bad. It looked like they were doing some remodeling .
Cons: The tiled bathroom floor was nasty with long black hairs in the floor and in the bathtub . The floor had not been cleaned. Bottom of shower curtain had mold on it. Carpet was dirty and bedspread had long clack hair on it.
Pros: The location was beautiful with the balcony overlooking the creek.
Cons: When we arrived late the key was not hidden as expected. I had to call the manager to come back to the office. Had to wait about 10 minutes. The toilet in room 26 does not flush properly.
The proprietor obviously loves his hotel. He was constantly fussing over things to make sure the facility was perfect. And very friendly.
Pros: The character was a through back in time. The covered porch overlooking the creek, wonderful a very friendly atmosphere. Perfect in every way.
Pros: This is a magnificent hotel on the river. Highly recommended.
Cons: Not really.
Cons: Description of whole facility was misleading.the room we were given was dark and had a pine tree for a view
Pros: My stay at the Four Seasons was outstanding. I was really impressed with the quality of the room and the overall condition of the hotel. The food was delicous too. I would stay there again.
Cons: The front desk clerk needed to be more enthusiastic and outgoing. I also think the price was a little too expensive.

Pros: We have been staying here for several years and really appreciate the money and effort the owners have invested in improvements. The bed was more comfortable than ours at home. We definitely get our money 's worth.

Pros: My room was very quaint. Lots of woodwork and flannel print. This is a great spot for a fall getaway. The food at breakfast was delicious. This is a two person show and for two people they do a really good job.
Cons: No ice machine (at least that I could find) Bed wasn't terrible comfortable. Only very small heater in room that was a little difficult to manage. Either too hot or too cool.

Nestled in the Great Smoky Mountains of Western North Carolina, Lake Junaluska is a place of Christian hospitality where lives are transformed through renewal of soul, mind, and body. Celebrating our 100th year in 2013.
Pros: Great Price and location. Friendly staff. Room was very clean. Looked newly remodeled.
Cons: Had to get our own towels, toilet tissue, and take out the trash. No service. Might have been the time of year.
Pros: Location and accessibility to the creek. They were open the week after Christmas. The Staff was polite and helpful.
Cons: Very dated hotel.Noisy wall heaters, old furniture and squeaky metal bed frames. With the amount of business they get,I expected more upgrades.Beds were hard, pillows flat, towels were thin.No complimentary breakfast. Not worth the money I paid.Spiders incl.
Pros: The location is perfect for motorcycle riders
Cons: The bed was like concrete; the bedding old and worn, pillows flat; no sheers on windows,so you had no privacy, closed the room was like a cave; towels like tissue paper; no amenities, no alarm clock, tissues, or shower supplies save a small soap.
When visiting Maggie Valley, Five Star Inn is a great choice to consider. You'll have free perks like WiFi and self parking. Rooms feature conveniences like refrigerators and microwaves.
Pros: The back patio to the stream was very relaxing. Location was great.
Cons: There was no dresser to put clothes on which I found strange. Also, there weren't enough sheets on the bed for winter. No comforter. There was BARELY enough parking for everyone.
Pros: Pretty nice hotel for the price I paid. I expected it to be cheaper looking. Which, I was ok with knowing I'd be spending little time in my room.
Cons: I know not to expect anything decent from a continental breakfast but the appeal at staying at Ramada over one of the many independent inn's and motels in Maggie Valley was the breakfast.
However, it was indeed terrible- I want eggs and bacon and ample fruit. The coffee wasn't even labeled decaf or not. Next time I visit Maggie Valley, NC I will stay in an independent inn and get breakfast at a diner.
Pros: Desk clerk was very nice.
Cons: Pool and Fitness rooms not as nice as pictured.

Cons: lobby and front spare office very cluttered. looked like one office with glass not in use but full of junk.
Pros: Was very pleased with the room and the facilities. Really expected less of this hotel to be honest. Had some folks having an argument outside the room for a bit but other than that, very quiet stay. Even the A/C was smooth!
Cons: The outside hides what's inside. Rather ugly exterior. No free breakfast (at least not on Saturday morn, but they had a very nice $6.00 breakfast that was quite tasty.
Although clean, the rooms were a little dated; for the price and what I needed it was ok
Pros: Was a good price for what I needed-a place to stay for less than 12 hrs; it was clean and looked like it was well cared for; had a hard time finding a staff member to check me in which was frustrating but staff was excellent after that
Cons: no locks to keep people out of the hotel-I didn't have any problems but anyone can walk the halls in this hotel, would have liked for there to be key entry for those staying there; pillows were hard
It is far to buy something. But room is big and clean. staffs are friendly.
Pros: staffs are friendly. rooms are clean and big.
Cons: breakfast are coffee and donuts. nothing else. not easy to find.
We ate dinner in the dining room. My friend ordered pasta alfredo and it was made with cheddar cheese instead of parmesan cheese. They had a woman singer in the dining room and she had the microphone up so loud, no one could hear anything anybody said. After I asked, they finaly had her turn the microphone down. It was not a pleasant experience.
Pros: the location
Cons: WE asked for adjoining rooms , were told we had them, then when we arrived, did not have adjoining rooms. It was very disappointing.
good location breakfast 6 dollars but well worth it need cleaning outside and a good coat paint
Pros: closeest to smokey mountain rr
Cons: age of the hotel but for the age it was clean
Pretty good for price. Great location. Friendly & knowledgable staff. No better place than Maggie Valley and the Great Smoky Mountains. Will stay again.
Pros: Location, Convenience. Plenty of space in the room.
This motel is in a good location and caters to motorcyclists which we knew up before making the reservation. We asked for one of the quieter rooms and were placed on the first floor directly across from where the motorcycles are parked and with all of the street noise. They could have put us on a higher level away from the street. It is an older motel but is still very nice. It just needs a little TLC.
Pros: Good location and good breakfast.
Cons: There was a soiled wash cloth across the shower head and there was no hair dryer in the room. We asked for a quiet room and were placed in the front directly across from the motorcycle 'garage'.
The staff was very friendly, need updating. The price I paid was to high for quality of room
Pros: The staff very friendly
Cons: Room was not clean, bathroom floor was dirty and ants in room
If you are ever planning on staying in Maggie valley, this is the hotel to stay at. Pet friendly and very clean. Will be staying here again!

Maggie Valley Inn is a great choice for a stay in Maggie Valley. Guests can take a dip in the seasonal outdoor pool or grab a bite to eat at Rendezvous, which serves lunch and dinner. There's also a bar/lounge, and rooms offer flat-screen TVs and refrigerators.
Pros: Renovated bathroom was nice, and room included mini fridge and microwave. Cheapest stay in town. Had cable. A/C worked.
Cons: Comforters, carpet and tv are all ancient. Front office stays locked and you have to call to get someone to meet you. Extremely thin walls, was woken up at 1am due to tv being loud in room next door, couldn't go back to sleep. Also person staying in room next door decided they needed to go outside and smoke pot at 1am, so our room instantly filled with the smell of pot... Very unhappy with this. Would definitely NOT stay here again.
Hearth & Home Inn is a great choice for a stay in Maggie Valley. Free perks include WiFi and self parking. Rooms feature conveniences like refrigerators and microwaves.
Pros: The owners were very friendly. Our children loved the playground.
Cons: The motel needed to be updated. The comforters and pillowcases looked old and faded. The TV remote didn't work, and the TV only pulled in one channel - Nickelodeon. The room was also incredibly humid!
Pros: The owner's were very nice and willing to go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and fun. Gave suggestions for things to do in and surrounding Maggie Valley.
Pros: A very nice, clean and quaint room. the staff was very polite and friendly.
Cons: The only thing I didn't think to bring was shampoo and wouldn't you know it there wasn't any in the room. Not a big deal at all
Pros: I called the night before & reserved room 3B. When we checked in she admitted she failed to make the reservation and someone else was in the room already. We got room 2A, near the street. She was nice enough to come to the room and refund us our money.
Cons: Ask for rooms B, they are further from the road, but the window shaker masks any road noise so it doesnt matter much.
They only provide soap. You will need to bring shampoo, condition and lotion by yourself.
Pros: Staff is friendly.
Cons: Poor sound insulation.
