Just clean The location, the ambience , almost everything very expensive because nothing worth the pain
I thought it was very clean. I had stayed in some other rooms one in compton one in Carson one in lakewood. The ones in Carson and lakewood were disgusting. This place was clean they painted the rooms the bathroom was clean it was just very small. Decent flat screen tv and excellent staff. It's an Indian husband and wife anything I needed they were more than happy to help. There were a few ants in the bathroom they came and sprayed. It was very quiet also. I would definitely stay there again you can't beat $46 a night with it as nice as it was. Every other place that cheap was just disgusting. They also had free wifi that was a nice speed. The only thing I didn't like was how small the room was and there was no refrigerator or ice machine. There was a microwave in the lobby and if I asked the staff for ice they'd get it from their apt but I didn't like bothering them too much. If they put refrigerators the place would be perfect. We
Keep it clean Bathroom did not have curtains no privacy
Noting Everything would not stay here
good service! no
That I was able to cancel my reservation and get my money back! EVERYTHING! GHETTO! Very shady. A lot of illegal activities going around at the same time.
The area is unsafe
I liked how close it was to LA. There wasn't much parking and I didn't feel comfortable leaving things in my car.
wifi works ok. Staff are kind. parking lot pretty small. whole building is extremely small as well. kinda old. Poor facility. No breakfast. No refrigerator. Air-conditioner kinda annoying. Looks not that safe.
The bed took up all the space but it was a good size alot of movie channels and fridge The microwave was down the hall i didnt have a real comforter blanket the sheets were from walmart they had roaches and my towels were dirty looked like there were boogers on it I'll never stay there again
Price is ok for the hotel may be a little more expensive. If you sleep downstairs you can not sleep due to squek noises of the upstairs floor. The environment not look safe. Thé bathroom is so small that we could not use it. Limited amount öf parking. WiFi is good.
Employee should provide parking ticket ready
newly renovated rooms; cleanliness small bathroom, poor WIFI Connectivity
Room was very clean. Housekeeping service is great. Ice machines broken on a few floors.
The lady at the front desk was really good Sometimes the common areas were dirty
The staff was friendly and my room was clean. I did not have any problems and was only in town for one night so this was perfect for my needs and the price was right.
The morning van driver kept texting and not paying attention to the customers
Great clean rooms, friendly staff and comfortable bed. Loved the free shuttle service to our terminal as well
Shuttle service yo the airport Great bed
The shuttle took forever to get us from the airport and the rooms were dingy, with holes in the blankets and thin pillows. The rooms are decorated to look all modern but instead they look cheap.
The night I stayed, it was very quiet Morning coffee and tea did not have tea bags or real sugar
Room was neat and clean very vibrant No microwave or fridge it's really needed especially for a person like me having surgery hopefully they will upgrade to fridge and microwave
Needed a place to stay for a few days while waiting for the next flight out of LAX. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room availability was convenient and flexible. A perfect fit. Minor maintenance to ice machines.
We had flown from NY to drive down to San Diego and stayed for a night in LA. Our room was cleaned, renovated look and comfortable. The staff was excellent and free breakfast. Very affordable.
The location was close enough to the beaches. There were crackheads sprinkled around the area there was a spider in my room it smelled like rancid smoke even though I asked for a smoking room I was kind of disgusted by the stench. Also they charge $.75 for ice cubes actually just a bucket a small square bucket from your room which kind of blows my mind!!
It is close to the airport. The room was old and dirty. Breakfast was poor.
Nothing The name is a ripoff! On the web page it was mistaken for Holiday Inn Express. This is NO Holiday Inn Express. There should be a disclaimer. The TV was a 22” standard. There were ants. The a/c was hard to regulate. Dirty carpet.
No. The bed and pillows were full of ants. The desk clerk just ignore my complaint. There was no food that was edible on my diet.
the speed to internet is very slow
First, I was surprised, that this is not a hotel, but a motel. Anyway, I was very surprised about the cleanliness of the room.. It was in very good condition (I had a room 313) It was perfect as a temporary accommodation, like I needed, when I arrived lax Airport in the night, but I do not recommend it as longer- term accommodation while it's abusing when you hear airplane landing in the middle of the night to the lax airport.
Proximity to the airport Very rundown area. Desk staff brusque and unhelpful. Cleaning staff co-operative. Inclusive breakfast was an insult to the name of breakfast, Disgusting. Shuttle service was not provided by the hotel as advertised and the result was expensive. I cancelled a booking for a return visit and this was not cancelled and I was charged as a no show.
Room was clean, nice flooring and window covering. Check in evening on 2/9. Clerk not very friendly, did not smile.
met my needs for close to airport, inexpensive and clean
Nice finishes Comfortable bed Good TV Ants in bathroom - even after killing what we saw at night, more still came back in morning
Flight was canceled, could not cancel, they kept my money
room size and quality Noise, transport to the airport
Booked a room thur Booking.com at $79.00 a night. When I got to the Motel there is a large sign that states $59.00 a night. Then The front counter person charged me $10.00 for the shuttle service that is stated to be free on your website. Priced Higher then the Stated Sign Price. Charged for a free shuttle service
eventhough it is in the crime region , hotel is gated...and ok for singles and men
Price was decent and secure parking. Had direct TV and internet, good for a short stay. AC and heating works great. You get a frig, microwave and a box tv. Bedding had an off scent and felt a little cough after the night. The walls arn't well insulated so you can hear your neighbor watch TV. Mine neighbor went to bed at a good time so I was able to get sleep.
Staff was great and very helpful with getting me into my room. You have all the essentials in your room. The area is a very sketchy part of Los Angeles area. I wish I would have done more research in where I was staying
The room seemed clean (I'm also a germ-o-phobe so I clean everything anyway, 5 start hotel or not) & spacious for someone who just wanted somewhere to stay - without interest in amenities. I drove so proximity amenities or food within walking distance wasn't important. I had a room on the ground floor with no other rooms above. As for it being a bad neighborhood, it's no West Hollywood, but for someone who left early and was in before dark, I didn't hear or see anything bad. The parking lot was really small and took some maneuvering in to spaces but that being said, I didn't have a problem finding a spot close to my room. The walls are paper thin, I could hear the phone vibrating for the person in the next room & when they talked on the phone. Obviously this is a design flaw that can't be changed but if you're a light sleeper you might have a problem, I had none.
-Very good value for an LA motel -Staff very responsive and kind -Gated + security cameras on-site -facilities (bed, fridge, shower, drawers) adequate -Room was way too hot, poor ventilation. -Loud noises during the night, including 1 night of a couple arguing + 1 night of loud gunshot noises -Local area very poor, many shops are protected by metal bars; hotel booth protected by bullet-proof glass
Good rate as it's not easy to find a decent room for under $100/night in LA area. Staff is professional. There's a security guard in the parking lot at night. For the room I stayed in, the bathroom had a strong smell - it could be someone smoked in there even though it's supposed to be a non-smoking room. The neighborhood is sketchy. "Paid" Wifi connection was way too slow that I had to ask for a refund. I've stayed at other Motel 6 locations for similar rate with nicer room.
The location was a bit sketchy but right down the street from Cowboy Country Saloon. The rooms at every Motel 6 always have updated, modern furniture. The staff cancelled my reservation after I stopped by to check in early but wasn't allowed. I didn't mind not being able to check in early but don't cancel my reservation after you aren't able to get ahold of me because I'm at a concert and can't hear my phone. Then, their solution was to give me a smoking room that wreaked so bad it felt like someone was still smoking in the room. Had I not been drunk, I would have cancelled and left. Instead, I just put up with the stench to avoid a DUI. I was also peeved that there wasn't a public restroom in the lobby. I was told I could walk next door to use the one at McDonald's. Seriously? Okay, I guess I'll give McDonald's five stars.
I loved the room overall. It felt like a studio apartment. Gave me a home feel and not like I'm in a hote room. Staff was extra friendly and helpful. Only thing I didn't really like was the parking situation.
Friendly staff, really large rooms, comfortable bed and pillows, clean rooms and linens, A/C in great working condition, blackout curtains. Super cozy. I slept like a baby. Also, really great location with tons of restaurants, pharmacies, gas stations near by. A few minutes' drive from LAX, car rental places, beaches. Wi-Fi was a little slow at times but overall not bad. The toilet paper was waaaay too thin and it would get stuck and rip when you try to unroll it. Just bring your own toilet paper or use the Kleenex.
The price on this is the only positive I can think of. You really get what you pay for. And there's a police station nearby. So, first off, there's 27 rooms, and 27 parking spaces, two of which are handicapped. When I came back to the hotel after a night on Santa Monica pier, there was literally only one handicap space left empty, and I can't park on the street because that's illegal during the night. When I tried to get help from the staff about this (they are a 24hr office), no one was there. I didn't get it resolved until I had already parked in the handicap space and was in my room about to sleep. Other than that, the bed was hard as a rock, and the internet barely worked with text-based websites, let alone video streaming like Hulu or Netflix. The neighborhood is pretty scary, especially at night. Your only solace that your stuff won't be stolen is there's a police station a short walk away. All in all, if you're in a pinch and can't afford anything else, go for it. Otherwise, stay away.
Quiet Comfortable beds Newish interiors Lots of free toiletries. Great safe location close to LAX. The bathroom could have been cleaned better. I found some hairs in the tub.
It was central to my needs. It was a very small room, Very little parking. Rules wouldn't allow me to have guests without clearing them with the front desk first.
Excellent overall value for money. Recommended, unless location is a problem. Not within walking distant to any attractions.
location, staff was friendly internet wasn't working, seems to have bedbugs
I like that the came with time warner cable, a fridge, and microwave. The manager lady was rude, my room smelled like cat urine, the shower sucked, couldn't check into my room until 6p, it was just not a good experience.
Very clean room, very comfortable stay, friendly staff and had HBO The surrounding area was ok
Price was okay. I paid for my stay in advance and when I arrived at the hotel, I was told they were sold out. They scrambled to find me a room and then when I got in the room, the bathroom was not clean with old towels on the floor and someone's flip flip flops. There were no shades in my room, broken desk, broken bathroom door, no mini fridge as promised and worst of all mold/mildew in the shower. Also, they ran out of towels, shampoo and conditioner. I switched rooms the next day because of all of these issues but they pretty much remained the same so I checked out 6 days early. Also, there was one super rude guy at the front desk with the worst attitude. I will never go back here. Terrible experience.
Nothing The carpet was filthy, felt wet, and had huge burns in it. The room smelled terrible. No amenities, the tv was ancient, and there was no privacy. The curtains were transparent so people could see on the room. Do not stay there.
It was reasonably priced and the outside looked decent parking was free there was some decent options for the complimentary breakfast the front desk worker was nice There was hair all over the bathroom floor, no mini fridge, the giant jacuzzi in the room looked like it should have stayed in the 70s where it probably came from. We thought of trying it out but the plug wasn't doing its job and it was probably a life saver the Jets looked moldy and gross. The tv wasn't working. I need to use the comp in the lobby for a quick question aire for something and that had a window open that wouldn't close or allow me to use the internet how frustrating!
Nothing They told us the day we got there that they lost our reservation. I don't know whether to blame kayak or the wave but what a horrible experience.
Close to LAX and the beach When I first arrived they asked if I wanted a smoking or non smoking room. I tilt them that I wanted a non smoking one. The room I got had an ash tray outside and reeked like cigarette smoke. Also the last day I was there someone broke into my car and stole a bunch of items. I asked if they could review the security footage and they said that they wouldn't be able to do so till Monday! Oh well I guess you get what you pay for when traveling. Do yourself a favor and pay a little extra and go somewhere nicer
The convenience to the beach. The hot tub did not work properly. The day evening staff was to friendly. The breakfast could had been a little better.
When we arrived at our room, the door was open the room was being cleaned. They gave us another room, and it was very noisy we were put right next to the laundry room. Early in the morning, we were able to hear the water pipes. :(
Close to beach Smelled a little funny, maybe to much cleaner
They gave us a free upgrade to Jacuzzi room!
I like it just it was near to Beach and Near to Airport. The over all look is not good. When I was booking I saw the online picture which seems nice but when I got there it was like an old guest house. People are not nice and I think it is run by a family who also lives there. The breakfast is just a Junk. The room was dirty and the furniture was old. The bathroom was terrible. I would not recommend any one to take a chance to book in this hotel. You will be disappointed
Nothing Non smoking room smells cigarette. Dirty, dirty, dirty!!!
Close to los angeles Light lol
it was kind of cozy. The bed was comfy and it had more then two pillows. There were plenty of towels... The place had a very bad odor to it when I went in. The floor by the bathroom was soaking wet.
price was good although they charge another $2 to use a credit or debit card. Bath towels were old and dingy, of the four available power outlets only one worked and I had 3 things to plug in, check-in office is poorly marked and difficult to find, decor is tacky and atrocious
