Hotels near Bob Hope Airport

Pros: Staff was friendly, convenient location for Highway access, Metro and downtown. Walking distance to restaurants. Hotel offers free breakfast (nothing fancy) but nice for a quick option. Thursday nights there are food trucks in the park nearby which was a nice surprise. Shower very nice.

Cons: Hotel is only a few months old, ice machine not yet installed. The nice louvered blinds in the room do not fully block out the sun like blackout shades. Hallways are mostly outside. $10/night parking for ~15 parking spots.

Pros: Everything, everyone was very helpful and pleasant. We will stay here again! Thank you

Pros: Staff was very nice and room was clean. I have no complaints. Valet parking was free but only because we had to sign up for a rewards program. If we didn't sign up it would have been 7.50 a night.

Pros: My boyfriend and I stayed here because we were going to Universal Studios. The location was perfect only about a 15/20 minute drive. The staff was so nice. I thought the valet parking only would be inconvenient but it actually wasn't. Comfy beds, clean rooms and bathrooms. We would definitely stay here again!

Pros: Breakfast bag had a rotten apple and a stale muffin The bed didn't have a comforter when asked about one was told that that was all they have at the moment this isn't the first time this has happend. The bed didn't even have a fitted sheet my pregnant wife woke up with the sheet half off the bed bc it was just a flat sheet upon departure we noticed bags like 20 to 30 bags of bedding just piled in the parking down stairs taking vital parking spaces. The toilet kept running all night which kept me up most of the night. I Asked for a wake up call and never got one which made me late for our meeting with our family lawyers.

Pros: They were remodeling which they disclosed upon booking. None of the construction disrupted our stay, and the room we stayed in as well as the main lobby and restaurant were all newly remodeled since our visit last year. Only a 15-20 minute drive to Universal Studios. Daily included breakfast was always great, lots of choices. Very friendly staff!

Pros: This hotel was very clean, staff was very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable. The room I was in was cute. The furniture was nice and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud. I made my reservation an hour before I was to arrive because my other accommodations didn't work out. I enjoyed my stay and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Pros: This hotel was great for us. We got a large room with king bed and fold out queen. It was very clean and the location was great for us, we really appreciated how secure the hotel was. The breakfast in the morning was nice and it was walking distance to many fast food options and a grocery store right across the street.

Cons: The only problem we had was with the shower, it was very clean and nicely redone, but the water pressure was horrible and I don't think the shower head was hooked up correctly. Other than that it was great.

Parking was an issue if you had to leave your keys with desk, when you are responsible for a rental having someone else have keys is a worry, and most aggravating is keys that become demagnetized and your room the farthest from desk and your tired and have to go back down for it to be fixed it happened twice

Cons: Horrible neighborhood, there were prostitutes or what looked to be prositutes walking the streets all hours of the day. I had my 9 month old daughter and 7 year old son and i had to run out and buy sheets for our beds because my son found a condom in the bed. Overall this was the worst experience ive ever had in a hotel. I believe a Motel 6 would have been 10 times better.

Cons: 1. They did not have me listed as having a reservation. 2. From February 1 to Feb 3 I stayed in room 323 at the N Hollywood Comfort Inn. All was well but for one huge issue - the toilet seat looked disgusting. There was a brown ring around the inside of the seat itself. Upon closer inspection it was a ring of rust or the paint was scraped off - but frankly, it was very unappealing and made sitting extremely uncomfortable and disquieting. Considering a toilet seat can be bought for under $30 and is very easy to install I was shocked to see this in the room. Such an easy fix for such an obvious problem. Most discouraging...will I stay @ Comfort Inn again - I doubt it

Pros: The good things...Entire hotel was clean and new looking. Check-in was quick. Beds are really comfortable & clean. Nice touch have the remote control in sleeve showing it was sanatized :) Business center was very useful for us!

Cons: The downfall was someone got arrested in the room right next to us the next morning police everywhere, So that was a site for sore eyes. And a bit scary for us considering I was traveling with my daughter and mother :(

Got all the way to my room and my key didn't work so i had to drag it all back down and carry it all back up a second time. The shower clogged up. The tv was in & out and some channels didn't have any volume?! No fridge, no microwave, no table for us to eat on.... (There was a desk my son ate on but me & my husband had to eat standing up or on the bed) Parking is $21 a night for guest. You have to pay for wifi & breakfast.

Pros: Steak salad from room service was exceptional! Employees were friendly and helpful.

Cons: Toilet stopped up. Hallways smelled musty. Bedspread smelled like someone's perfume - obviously was not washed before I arrived. Woodwork was full of nicks and scratches. Very dissapointing for a Marriott.

Pros: We liked pretty much everything. There's a pool, fitness center, & gift shop. There's also a fully functioning restaurant (The Daily Grill) that is open early & closes late. Great place to have people in the area meet us for food or drinks. Very comfortable rooms with everything you need included.

Cons: It was nice to have a parking lot in the hotel, but if you opted not to go with Valet, it was a little bit of a walk to get to the lobby with suitcases & such. Adding to that, the parking lot is shared with airport travelers, so there were times at night where we were concerned we wouldn't find any spaces, even though we were hotel guests. But, it still worked out, there were a couple of hidden spots. My biggest complaint is that the air-conditioning unit in our room was very loud & would wake us up throughout the night whenever it clicked on. On a minor note, the business area in the room with the extra outlets had blown a fuse & no power was coming out of it. We let the front desk know. Over-all, these are small complaints (other than the AC).

Pros: The staff at the Ramada in Burbank are very friendly and helpful. The rooms we clean and tidy and the furnishings had been updated in the last year or so. The only complaints are to do with the building. I believe this is an older building and you can tell. Our sink leaked pretty badly from the faucet into the cabinet under the sink. We would get standing water under the sink almost daily, and would try to wipe it out, but you could tell this was a constant problem; there was visible water damage and a little mold (it looked like the entire area had been scoured recently or there may have been more). My other complaint was the shower. This place probably has old piping and without a huge renovation I don't know what they could do about this, but they have some kind of hot water heater/weird piping gremlin here. No matter what temperature you try to get the shower to, whether it's ice cold or as hot as it will get, the temperature changes constantly and dramatically. i would be in the shower and suddenly the water would get completely scalding. This wasn't right after I got in it would be about six minutes in and I hadn't touched anything. So I turn the temperature down all the way and the water gets hotter. Way hotter. I'm standing in the shower and I have to get out because the water is going to burn me. I stood there for five more minutes waiting for it to cool down enough to get back in and wash the shampoo out of my hair. I barely got it rinsed it before the temp jumped back up again, and the temperate was still set for as cold as it would go. Later that day, hours later, when my husband went to use the shower, He would have either scalding water or ice cold water and no in between. We found this problem to be constant in our 7 day stay. We also had the maintenance people look at the sink and they tried to fix it but it didn't really work. It didn't really bother me, I just wiped out the standing water but I was worried about water damage to their hotel and I leaking through to the room below if the problem went unchecked or unnoticed by the next guest. So the pipes are old and the shower was frustrating and you had to be careful using the sink so you didn't flood the area, but the staff is lovely and the rooms were clean and the beds are comfortable. And they have free wifi and the pizza place will deliver to your room.

Pros: It was probably an awesome place in 1982 when it was last remodeled... First time I've ever been to a hotel that there was no cold water in the shower. I've had lots of no hot water experiences, but only scalding hot water was a first.

Cons: The images of the hotel on the website were far nicer than anything I saw in my one night stay. There was a dog in the next room that had been left alone and barked for a couple of hours until the resident came back to the room. There was no iron in the room. I had to call down to the desk and it took three phone calls to finally get one sent to my room. The continental breakfast shown on the website was a complete fabrication. The real breakfast was a coffee urn and a few pastries wrapped in plastic.

Pros: Close to BUR, transport starts at 5:30 AM--but I was bumped to 5:45 despite confirmation, apparently because another traveler had a 5:30 slot. The transportation service is contracted out. The van was there at 5:40. Light traffic for the few miles. Courtesy was everywhere. .

Cons: Middle of nowhere. Only meal source is a Jack in the Box across a major intersection. Staff told me "restaurants" etc about a mile away at a mall. I walked (car or Uber necessary) about 2/3rd miles and found a local but very good Mexican 50s-60s decor overhead fluorescent bar restaurant specializing in seafood. The selection was great (half dozen fresh oysters on the half shell $16/dozen), hot/cold seafood soups + just fine homemade fare. "Costa Azul."

Pros: You get what you pay for. I made a reservation last minute due to it being the cheapest option. The room itself was alright but the exterior looked so dirty I was almost uncomfortable staying there. To add to that notion, I then came across a man in the elevator who then followed me around and waited outside my room for the weekend I was there. Super creepy, and I left early after that. I won't be going back.

Cons: I had a dead battery on my car as I was leaving for the Amtrac station in Del Mar to travel to Burbank. Missed the train by 5 minutes. Amtrac didn't have a later train that could get me there and was kind enough to give me a full refund. Quality Inn was not so accommodating and charged me the full price of the room because they have a stricter refund policy when the reservation is made through Hotels.com. They require 24 hours advance for a cancellation. I don't plan on using Kayak, Hotels.com or Quality Inn again. The small saving in room rate (if there was one) is not worth the risk of loosing the entire booking amount.

Cons: This was the worst ever. I requested a non-smoking room so they gave me a smelly room with an adjoining door next to a chain smoker. The room was filthy, sink leaked, shower dripped constantly, wall paper was missing in the bathroom, holes in the comforter, HVAC was so noisy it would keep you awake. The location is awful with noise from I-5 and the Metrolink trains blowing the horn everytime they go by, which is often. The breakfast was awful. The room was the size of a closet, the eggs and sausage were thrown in a warming tray still frozen. I went to heat them up in the microwave to find it was filthy with food and water all over the inside from someone else. Lastly, I was refused a receipt when I left because it would be e-mailed to me by Expedia. I told the clerk I didn't go through Expedia and he argued with me. I asked again for a receipt and he flat refused to give me one. Really? I will not stay in a Quality Inn property in the future because of this experience. I should have slept in my rental car instead. Atleast I had a receipt for that to turn in with my expense report.

Cons: The entrance to the Lobby is dimly lit making the place seem a little underwhelming. It literally just says 'Lobby' above the door and no sign saying the hotel name. The staff were nice but the rooms are out of date by nearly 30 years, i stay in hotels all my life and have to say when i walked in this room i just didn't want to sleep here. It just looked dirty and had some weird 70's style kitchen in there, like a full kitchen but way out of date. There is coin operated laundry here at $2 a load, again it's a pretty dated room. There's not food or beverages be had here with apart from a mildly stocked vending machine in the laundry room. So no restaurant, no bar, no gym, all in all i'd say this is a 'if i'm stuck for a place to stay and everywhere else is full then come here' kind of place.

Cons: Even thought the point of an extended stay is to have a place with a kitchen and a way to cook the room had no pots, pans, or dishes starting out and I had to request them. It then took the staff hours to get me the things that I had requested. It was always noisy and difficult to get sleep. I would never recommend staying here.

Cons: Despite the fact that it was the cheapest motel in North Hollywood I could find it's still overpriced - like all accomodation in LA. Wi-fi signal isn't so good.

Pros: The mattress in this location never fails. This is the second time I visit in town and it is a great feeling to lay down on a COMFORTABLE bed after traveling all day.

Cons: The check out time is NOT noon as stated on the bill, email, receipt, etc. It is 11am. I even asked when I got there to make sure and was told even by staff that check out is noon. I was out most of the night with my girlfriend and got back around 3am, went to sleep at 4am. I woke up to a phone call from staff at 10:45am that 11am is check out. I checked the receipt and told him it's clearly printed that it's noon. He said "no" that the maids need time to clean the rooms and check out time is always 11am. This is the same guy that when my girlfriend arrived to the hotel before me refused to let her check in (despite both our names were a part of the guests and later got resolved by the next guy's shift. (She sat in her car waiting and the next employee was happy to let her check in and doesn't know why the previous guy didn't.) This is the only experience that I'm really pissed at is that I paid for a given time and that it was abruptly changed without warning. (And through no fault of my own).

Pros: The place has been remodeled recently and you will find more electrical outlets than you need. The price is on the low side, if you are willing to accept the negatives.

Cons: I reserved a non-smoking, single queen bed, but when I arrived a couple hours later, was given a non-smoking, 2 double (full) bed room. A double bed is barely long enough for me. The manager said I could change rooms the next day; she said she tried a couple of times to call me, but the room didn't have a phone. Although the Wifi is free, it disconnects and reconnects every so often and is not particularly fast; I stayed in room 209: The TV is an old 19" CRT (not flat screen) with few channels, my towels had stains, mildew was on the shower curtain, and dirty walls next to the bath room. They advertise microwaves and refrigerators in the rooms, but mine was a Thermal-Electric cooler, not a refrigerator. I had some milk in there for a couple of days that went bad. When I tried to check out two days early, the manager refused to refund a day because I hadn't given 24 hours notice.
